Excellent test! In my opinion, the 2901-9833 and -9838 are the best horns ever made for the following reasons: - They sound great - Aren't too loud - Probably the least prone to wear and becoming "sick"
It does but it actually came from a different system. It has pigtails unlike the ones in his video. They all came with trim plates instead of light plate too
Those last two sounded like car horns. They even harmonized in the same way car horns are designed to do! I’m pretty sure these happen to be similar tech to car horns anyway. And the AC powered versions are just scoreboard buzzers in disguise.
I love this! I love the different models Simplex makes, especially the tones. 💜
Excellent test btw 👍🏻

I agree. I can’t tell you how many federal signal vibratones I’ve had completely break on me beyond repair. Never had a single faraday horn do that
@@officialsimplexguy Don't forget the 6220 series **kccacckkkckkccczzzz**
clearly the housing makes a difference in tone a lot of those use the digital faraday diaphragm essentially
Beautiful… just beautiful!
Love this video, and love mechanical horns!
Neat 🤩
I had no idea that you got a U-HN-MCS! Those are hard to come by!
One of my favorites, along with the 2903s lol
Nice video!
2:20 that 9833 actually sounds like it could’ve been in a system SimplexTech tested. Excellent compilation!

Probably just an average -9833 sound since those horn have a unique tone

Best code for the Federal Signal D1 based horns.
That 4903 horn on that light plate sounds just like the one from the school fire drill video of 2006
The 9805 sounds a lot better than it used to!
It’s a NIB one
Use 0.75x speed for 90 BPM March Time
3:59 The Simplex Car Horn.
Is it just me or does your camera barely catch the flashes from the strobes? Also i like the Simplex lights. Theyre pretty cool
Forgot to film in 60 fps
Did you get a new camera? Quality looks a lot better. Nice little compilation.
