I miss Mr. ScreaM as a player in CS. I remember there was a time when the front page of the CS subreddit was full of his clips. Insane talent. So was his brother, Nivera.
almost made me cry ngl , because the way he talks makes me realize how awesome esports is and how we hate the game but love the game at the same time like , he said cs is the love of his life but on the first part he said that cs broke his heart like , this appreciation and love for the game is pretty weird (i'm talking like i'm 35 but i'm 21 but i love cs so much , even tho it's in the worst state rn)
In the beginning of valorant, scream was one of the first people that got me into valorant esports. He was so influential and skilled compared to everyone else
Loved all the insights for CS episode and currently watching Valorant one. ScreaM is absolutely my fav player of all time and would love to see him dominate in VCT ❤
Really love his thoughts on the difference between Valorant and CS and the way he loves CS but not Valorant. For me it feels the same. Played Valorant from the beta but switched back to CS when cs2 came out. Valorant is a lot of fun but the agents and the abilities make it hard to really master the game. The core of cs is the same for 25 years so it’s way easier to master the game and make it your own and standout against others.
watching this. i think its just better for him to revamp his CS career than competing again in Valorant. dude doesn't really vibe with valorant. better leave it to Valorant kids to compete in Valorant.
I love ScreaM but he’s disgusted me in this interview. If ur heart is in cs then just play cs. Players who dont love valorant and arent dedicated to playing and grinding it are just gross. Go put ur heart and soul into ur true love and passion cs. If I was building a championship winning valorant team ScreaM would be nowhere near being included. Soulless mercenaries are the worst. If he truly cared he could be in a competitive and contending EMEA team but this isnt his game so he wont put in the extra hours to make it there. Go back to cs and win urself a major brother.
You know people gotta be realistic, live life and pay bills, right? It's totally understandable he chose competitive valorant because it gives him a better quality of life. "Put your soul in the game". Many players have done that and ended up being 30+ years old with no career and no new opportunities, regretting all the time they put in. Obviously it's the only way to achieve something, but sometimes being realistic and seeing that you are past your prime, your wrist hurts and you don't have any new chances makes you go to the job you like less (VALORANT).
At the end of the day it's a job same as any professional sports or esports. Sure if you wanna be the absolute best you will probably have to grind. But it's unreasonable to expect everyone to have that level of dedication. Like there's a ton of athletes who don't love the sport they play or who aren't passionate but happen to be good at it and it pays their bills. I'm sure if he could find a CS team with same salary and competitiveness he may return.
@@jackoberto01I think Valorant team would just look elsewhere so many upcoming talented kids out there who is more passionate. gonna be super niche team who would actually try him again when dude got little passion about Valorant.

NIvera is playing cs for Revenant now.
After watching this interview, if Scream ever wins a big tournament in cs2 or valorant i might cry.
The outro from scream gave me goosebumps, I will never forget the headshot machine!

Just cause he says these things doesnt mean he doesnt truly want to win in valorant

@@FatedVillain555 Yeah but the same can be said for CS. Maybe the best option is just to retire from competitive play and just stream
