This interviewer is probably the best interviewer that's ever gonna exist in CS. The amount of knowledge he had about each important game of Aleksib's career, all his ex teams going way back in time, every past teammate and their personalities and game styles, even some key rounds and frags from years ago, and to be able to piece it together in a seamless 3 hour interview, is worth commending. Bravo.
As a Finn, it is so cool that you ended interview with KIITOS! Kiitos to you for this interview and everything else you have done! So proud about Aleksi and the whole Navi team.
I like the fact that Aleksi thanked iM at the end. It perfectly sums up how great the guy is. Ngl, I wasn't a huge fan of iM these past months, but now I think that he's vital for this NaVi team. If he manages to stabilise his game and keep ~1.10 rating at least this team would be unstoppable.
This comment aged well IM's doing exactly that now and that is something aleksi saw incoming... 6finals in a row 3 wins including major, ewc, epl, iem rio sheeeshh
insane to be blessed with a nearly 4 hour alexsi interview as a navi fan, love thorinn in these types of settings too he asks great questions and their is no filler at all, just great insight into an entire career. god there's so many players and coaches i want to see this for.
Aleksib GOAT… has true leader qualities. Guys super humble and not letting himself down by trash talking his haters is super rare and impressive. A true legend. Been a fan since the beginning and always will be.
Trust me bro i feel like Blade and AleksiB is the perfect pairing, because of their similar work ethic and understanding of the game. NGL i think AleksiB might be called the next Blade if he becomes a coach in the future.
44:07 That map is Nuke i guess. jL himself in an interview or stream said that he was bad on Nuke and his friend made him to play and practice Nuke and he thanked his friend for that.
Aleksi is different, such insightful and observative outlook on life. Listening thru first 2 was a bit painful but the NaVi arc was a joy. Thanks a lot for this one!
That was such a good interview, and must be such a cool moment in time for him. I wonder if he'll come back to this comment section down the road. If he does, well, I hope you've learned many things on this journey we call life!
I have to say, even though my favorite team is G2, after seeing this and generally reflecting about the whole story line about Aleksi, I am almost happy that G2 lost against Navi in the semis. Although the storyline with niko and hunter winning their first major together would have been sick aswell
One thing about w0nderful is although I agree at the moment his style is a bit similar to dev1ce, he is a very fast AWPer. Some of his flicks and quick-scopes are literally s1mple esque. I hope with time he shows more of his mechanical skill.
You’re a fan of 5 min interviews in Joe Biden style? Aleksib doesn’t seem bored at all, he doesn’t put on a fake smile. I’m sure he’s happy to share so much and relief his heart/mind in some way
The fact that he mentions iM at the end, it’s such a class act by Aleksi. A true leader! 🤝
IM was playing very well in ESL pro league group stage. Maybe he is finding his form.

Thorin always says thanks in the person's native language at the end of Reflections 🤩
my favourite league player

you say that as if 1.19 rating is somehow easy to upkeep. there are like 10 people in the world with a lifetime 1.10 rating.
Like 1.10 is easy to keep up lol. Niko has a lifetime of 1.18 and that's NIKO. 1.10? consistenly as a rfiler is pretty close to impossible to keep up

Aleksi "Trust me" Virolainen
The thing is trust me when i say this.

I remember an interview where he was Aleksi "Like" Virolainen xd
Aleksib GOAT… has true leader qualities. Guys super humble and not letting himself down by trash talking his haters is super rare and impressive. A true legend. Been a fan since the beginning and always will be.
this was a banger trilogy
Best interview

last three days have been such a treat, as always thank you
ah yes, famous League player Aleksib
Jokes aside great interview, I've always respected Aleksib quite a lot.
"jokes aside" was one of the most used phrases in this interview :D
aleksi is my favourite cs player and ence was my favourite team this interview was fire i hope he gets more success in his career
Shouldve asked him what happened to AleksiA
😂
He was not that great as a stategist. His signature tactic was to lead the team to bombsite when he should’ve lead them to the other one.
AleksiA macromanages his players.
44:07 That map is Nuke i guess. jL himself in an interview or stream said that he was bad on Nuke and his friend made him to play and practice Nuke and he thanked his friend for that.
100%
Thank you Thorin for this interview great to hear Aleksi speak all of these subjects!
Aleksi is different, such insightful and observative outlook on life. Listening thru first 2 was a bit painful but the NaVi arc was a joy. Thanks a lot for this one!
b1t on inferno was one of the most insane games for him. He was an absolute beast.
So happy for Aleksi
Thank you aleksi and thorin for this trilogy, it’s really important to get these player stories out for the Esport fans! Kiitos❤
That was such a good interview, and must be such a cool moment in time for him. I wonder if he'll come back to this comment section down the road. If he does, well, I hope you've learned many things on this journey we call life!
Thoorin was like, K lemme spell his name correctly in the thumbnail
Your interview skills are unmatchd, awesome follow up questions and context explanations for periods of Aleksis career. Bravo!
What a great guy, respect to this man. Class act, major win well deserved.
Such a wholesome dude, brilliant interview! Hope he gets to score a few more down the line, well deserved.
I have to say, even though my favorite team is G2, after seeing this and generally reflecting about the whole story line about Aleksi, I am almost happy that G2 lost against Navi in the semis. Although the storyline with niko and hunter winning their first major together would have been sick aswell
That learning from failure question was a banger, Thorin is the best interviewer by far
27:26 cracked me up
Great Interview as always.
I don't know if you read the comments at all but: Thank you Thorin for this interview! Great job!
best one yet
That was one very entertaining & interesting interview!
What a gentleman.
It must've been a relief for AleksiGOD to speak up about all this. I think all this relief will make him stronger now.
I love him.
I'll always be ride or die with Aleksi, true competitor
Like waiting for my favourite episode of a TV show, banger Thorin.

thank you thorin and aleksi for making this happen, it was a pleasure to watch 👍
57:11 "That's not me. Even though I have these dark thoughts ..."
AleksiB Spider Man philosophy
Thats heart-warming hearing someone say they feel the team is behind them
Kiitos. ❤

The real goat, so proud of him.

Doubt it . They dont like each other
@@BratShemi neither did s1mple and look what happened
@@MusicJunkie37 They had a fight , but they were on good terms before that . Thorin and Niko never liked each other.
@@BratShemi never say never
@@MusicJunkie37 That's true . I would like to see it myself , but I m not optimistic 😁
59:21, what a team, love to see that
great interview, a comfortable 3 hours to just listen to
Kiitos Thorin.
"spanking to my own back" is an amazing quote
One thing about w0nderful is although I agree at the moment his style is a bit similar to dev1ce, he is a very fast AWPer. Some of his flicks and quick-scopes are literally s1mple esque. I hope with time he shows more of his mechanical skill.

He said Im had bad major but he had worse stats😂😂
Igls dont count . He just needs to have 0.8-0.85 to win if he's calling as well as he can
igl vs supposed ”star player”

Did u really fuckin bore him for 3 hours!???
