Crazy how well the 970 still runs on 2023, obviously doesn't run the highest end of games too well, but most games run pretty well on mid graphics lol, I'm using an RTX 2060 now, but I remember gaming on the 970 for a long time.
I have the Evga geforce 970 ssc (with 2 letter s not 1), and the fans only spin every couple seconds, is it supposed to spin constantly or only every couple of seconds? Because my PC isn't displaying anything on my monitor so I'm not sure what's wrong
What cables do I need to get if my power supply doesn't have the LP4 ports? I have an EVGA SuperNOVA 750W. It only has 8 pin or 6+2 pin ports on it and not the LP4.
This is the one that I got. I got two of them for both the PCI-E ports on the card and I was gonna plug them both into my PSU. I did this and it’s not displaying to my monitor, I know my hdmi cable 100% works as it works when I try it with other things, I’ve also tried a second hdmi cable that also works and it’s still not displaying, any solutions?
Someone help, i have a 970 and i’m replacing it with a 1650 super gaming x, and i cant figure out how to take out the 970 it has some sort of blacks locks instead of screws.

excuse me I hope someone can help me, it's a weird question so hopefully you'll get it, ok so you know that the molex cables the come with the graphics card have two 4 pins that connect to the 6 pin right? Do I need to connect both 4 pins or only one? I mean in the end with the 2 fans, I would end up connecting four 4 pins right? what if I only connect two 4pins out of the 4?

Well from a distance you cant really tell, but when you line yourself up with the motherboard upclose you can see tge GPU the massive gtx 970 isn't fully lined up with it
I would go higher to protect yourself in the long run. EVGA recommends a 500Watt, i would say go for a 600 Watt, check out on amazon: Thermaltake non modular: geni.us/pKO0,

Do I have to uninstall video drives? and then re-install them for the newer card? How does that part work?
