Nice and simple yet yummy.I remember eating this stew with square fried puries made with maida salt water and lard. At a wedding in Goa. Those days the wedding food was all cooked by cooks in the wedding house. The combination is really yummy. I still make them minus the lard now I use ghee to get that crisp texture .

I did strain the water and I did add the water too but I like to run it threw some cold water as the pasta being warm can further cook even after straining the water so I do it to stop the cooking process, thank you for your feedback

I just boiled it with some water and salt ...please make sure you use just a bit of salt

No, only stew is pork stew
Leaving pasta under the running water ...makes no sense taking all the vitamins n flavour. ....
I do not keep it under the water for too long , it’s just for a few seconds and I do this step just to stop the cooking process
