@@MayankSehgal You have a really cute apartment. You seemed to have settled in and adjusted to your new home quickly. Four years ago I moved from Connecticut to Florida after retiring from my job. I never lived out of state before and it took me about 2 years to settle down and adjust. Like you, I now love living in Florida and my apartment. Good for you and best wishes.
Amazing video! You’ve done justice to the space. Great choice of decor and furniture, despite being small the house doesn’t look cluttered or overstuffed🤍
You did a really great job in sectioning off this apartment and gave it a real cozy feel. The only thing I see lacking is a stove and I know many people don’t use them any longer. I love cooking and use the stove quite often but nothing that an air fryer couldn’t take care of.
Love your space. Nicely decorated and functional. Your large windows are beautiful. I like the way you made yourself a living room area and have your bed in a nook area. Very cosy and practical. My favourite room is your kitchen. It is nicely laid out and it has a great window. Your bathroom is nice also. Smart idea putting a washer in there. It is great to be able to do your laundry in your apartment.
Thank you, Mayank! Excellent video as always. I'm starting my MSc at emlyon business school this year, had been sticking to your channel since the "Study in France" series. Keep up the great work, and all the best to your journey :D
Your apartment has an incredibly cosy and calm vibe to it! Did you take any inspiration from some place or you knew beforehand what you wanted to do with the apartment?
Thank you so much man!! My inspirations are everywhere - I read a lot of interior design blogs, Instagram pages, TH-cam videos, and take a little bit from everywhere. I guess my biggest inspiration was perhaps my manager in Los Angeles who had an absolutely wonderful home. Maybe I'll upload a video about his home someday.
Beautiful apartment! Love the bed nook. The rent is great for 32m². What arrondissement/suburb is this and how long does it take by metro to the heart of Paris? Just being curious where to find one for this rent and big space too.
Here it is your cosy appartement. It's very clean and simple but it has a unique and special style, i love the fact you have a library. But it still a little expensive bro.
Haven't seen this video yet but the stuff you talk abt in your videos are so relatable and informative. Plus, the way you say it is also concise. Absolutely love your content. Keep going 🔥
I've been looking for an inspiration for my new room but I haven't quite found one until I watched your video! it's perfect because my new room is also in an old building as well. I also agree with your words that the way you live is the factor how you should decorate your house. Many of my friends don't really like my choice of my new apartment, but they just don't see what I see :))
@@MayankSehgal pleasure always! Ur HEC days videos were in fact among the first ones that helped me gain so much clarity. Hope we ll catch up sometime when I visit next month! Tc
Great use of space! That is a really nice apartment & you've set everything up really nicely.... I really like how cozy it looks. And, I like how you separated the bed from the living room. Great job! : )
Super apart ! Un tout petit conseil si vous voulez que votre espace salon ai l’air un peu plus grand : prenez un tapis suffisamment grand pour poser les 4 pieds du canapé dessus !
Very nice and lots of space and function for the price. How do you feel the price compares to Los Angeles? It seems like you get more for your money in Paris.
Thank you so much! Yes I def got quite lucky. Compared to LA I think again it’s quite cheaper - a similar space in Santa Monica for eg would cost $2500/mo. But then again we also earn less money here so.. it kinda evens out.
I don't find it small at all. Looks like a perfect size for a single person. I rent a 50m2 apartment, and even though I can afford it I want to move out, because it's just too much space for me alone. I'm now looking for something half the size like 25 - 30m2. Unfortunately, smaller apartments are quite rare in my area.
Can you tell me approximately how much should be the income in order to pay €1000+ for rent and if one can get a job as masters student that support living expenses??
I hope one day you can also visit Philippines. When i convert the 1050 euro to philippine peso its a big amount of money 😅. Here in PH my apartment is only 3500 pesos or 60.43 Euro only. And its 1 bedroom already. I know the cost of living in paris is higher and its mindblowing hahaha
Why don't you share this space with Vikram? Vikram staying at a closet by paying 350 Euro is just bullshit. It would have been affordable to both of you, had you guys shared this space. Think about it,...both of you sharing 1050 Euro for this decent place, while at the same time saving on your expenses, and not allowing someone to rip you off, just because there's a view of "Eiffel Tower". I mean no disrespect,...but seriously!
People from 1600s would be proud of what you've done to the space ❤️
Hehe thanks a lot man!
They would be shocked about the price tag tho
Your plants are dying 😂 Give them away if you can not take care of them 😅

Thanks!! Yeah ideally even I would want a stove but there’s no place for it :(
Very Nice ! The tall ceiling is screaming MEZZANINE 😊. This could be in the bed nook, will free up work space underneath
I agree!! But unfortunately since I'm renting it I can't make any modifications like that. I have always thought of it though!
Well done you, it looks really livable!
Wow this is probably the biggest Paris apartment I've seen so far.

You have done a very nice job of fixing your small apartment up. It has everything you need and it isn't so small that you feel cramped in it.
Thanks for your nice comment!

Can you suggest how to look for appartments in Paris?

@@MayankSehgal sorry I think I spelt Paris wrong silly me lol I bought mine from TK max 🙀
Just wanted to ask a simple question Mayank. Do people not share apartments in Paris?
We do! But a lot of people prefer to live alone too, since smaller, 1-person apartments exist here too.
Beautiful
Nice design and decorating hacks. Did you study architecture?
Thanks!! I actually didn’t, these are all from various inspirations - TH-cam videos, Instagram, and homes I visited :)
Bravo 👏! ☺️
your apartment is a mansion compared to most budget paris apartments
Yes you’re actually right haha
Can you tell me approximately how much should be the income in order to pay €1000+ for rent and if one can get a job as masters student that support living expenses??
It's not the case with every agency but a lot of them expect you to earn 3-4 times the rental costs.
5:38 looks like MIT, Manipal. Was that your ug college,?i'm currently studying there
yep indeed it was :)

For Dublin standards, that's considered big. We would pay 1,6K euros in Dublin for this
How do you come from another country and live there without citizenship?
Studying here + working here = getting a work visa/residence permit
"but in France it is just a window" 😆
Nice apartment.
400 years old building 👌
Thank you!!
incroyable. It looks very cosy although 85k/per month in INR is a huge sum😂. I Could buy a new iPhone each month.
Butiful home Mayank.
