I do a hand wash but dont ever need to refill sink to do both inside and outside of garment. Cleans brilliant aswell.Woolite is pretty strong stuff and what u put in to clean that dress there was no need for the refill. Still....its up to u. I leave my item soak in the woolite/water solution for 10 mins both inside and out,so 20 mins in all. Comes out spotless,even sweat stains on polo shirt collars etc. Hand wash is just better than any washing machine wether its dry clean or not,imo,removes stains better.
I'm glad you found this helpful. I would not put any type of leather items in water. I've never attempted cleaning one by hand. That's a great idea for a future video! Thanks for watching. 🙂
If you have a probleme with a jacket smelling from underarm perspiration you can kill the smell with steam. The same with cloths that you can’t get smell free by washing. But first check at a part that is less visible to se that the steam doesn’t harm the fabric
If a dress has some sort of padding throughout the top of the dress, is this method still okay? I have a dress I need but don't have time to take it to a cleaner 😞
@@thebeachcombingfairy I've never had a problem with light padding in the bust part of a dress. Just give it a little extra time to dry. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching! 🥰
@TracyPerkins-dy7fm I'm sorry. I don't understand your question. Are you asking how to remove stains from a heavy white coat? If so, what type of fabric are you working with? What caused the stains? How long have the trains been there? All of this factors into how you can clean the coat.
Best method would be a foam spray cleaner,works brilliant on nylon. Other method half water,half vinegar solution(spray bottle)treat stain,use baking soda.
I'm most concerned with fading and warping. I have a pair of brand new completely black pants that are 98% cotton and 2% spandex. It has some extra detailing along the legs in a few spots, where the fabric is sort of folded over and tacked down. They aren't sewn down and I'm also worried that I might accidentally tear or loosen those tacks. Should I use this method?
I would be comfortable using this method with the pants you described. I would be extra careful not to overextend or put too much pressure on the areas that are tacked together. I suggest laying them flat to dry. It may be a good idea to neatly arrange the tacked areas as they should be before allowing to dry. Hope this helps. Ultimately it comes down to how comfortable you are with a piece of clothing. ❤ 🧺
I've never tried thus method on a blanket. I would wash it the same way, one section at a time. Be careful not to twist or wring it, but rather press it into the laundry water. Rinse in sections or hang it on a line outside and rinse with a garden hose, medium pressure, from top to bottom. I would leave it hanging to dry in the sunshine. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching. God bless. ❤

@ingegerdandersson6963 thanks for the tip!
Vodka will work well also! Use a spray bottle, not shot glass LOL
Thank you so much, this is very helpful can I use ordinary liquid wash. Or do I need a special one
@@dorothyfullerton3411 I use the original Woolite liquid. Thanks for watching and commenting. 🙂

Thank you for sharing..... please advise as to how to do a blanket. I have a white blanket that says dry clean only on the label.. Thanks

You did a much better job than the cleaners. They recently ruined one of my dresses. 😠
@sbaker04181 Oh dear! I'm so sorry to hear this. 😔
How to clean autumn/winter dresses from China w/ no washing instructions?
Thanks for the question. Does the label list fiber content? The washing instructions are largely contingent on the fabric.
