So girl this is hilarious and borderline creeper status but I had to tell you. I was on a trip to NYC with some girlfriends and totally saw you at Glossier! I spotted your Aritzia bag and was about to tell my friends we needed to go there and then I saw your face and I was like "No. Stinkin. Way." They were laughing at my fangirling afterwards...I should have said hey but I was so stunned! I love your videos and watch them all the time at home in SC, but I never expected to run into you during our short visit to New York! Craziness. Anyway, love your channel!

I think you and Ryan have such a great sensibility about life, fashion, relationships as well as a light-hearted and humorous approach to everything. I have tons of housework and closet "cleansing" that I need to tackle and the best way to make it all fun is to have your channel playing all the time and "hang" with you guys. I can relate to your vibe! I understand it, had it when I was your age and luckily still have it in my golden age. Love Stella...she is cool!
What I like in the vlogs: pretty much everything! You and Ryan just doing ur daily things like watching tv, cooking, talking, walking around nyc! Like seeing you shopping, and your clothes! Your vlogs are my standard of what a vlog should be ---genuine!

Started watching your vlogs about 2 weeks ago and I love watching them! Stella is adorable (I’m a dog lover) & your style is fabulous! I love your vlogs!! Also, in one of your vlogs, can you give an honest review/opinion on glossier products?
Hey ash! I used to work at Aritzia and some of the reasons why there is no mirrors inside the actual rooms is because 1) the lighting in there isn’t the greatest. So you don’t get to see the full detail of the item 2) the only way for the staff to help you with suggestions, or other ways to wear the item or even how to wash it, is if you come out to show them. Most people don’t want help from sales associates. But sometimes it’s helpful because they know so much tips and tricks about the items that maybe you didn’t know. Also, we weren’t really supposed to allow men in the change room area for privacy reasons. Some locations obviously don’t care haha! The sales associate that was helping you, prob should have gotten you a slip to go under that dress if she knew men were in there or if she was paying attention to the items you were interested in. Sorry about the long post. Hope this helps

About Stella being difficult on a leash- try not using a flexible leash, only a normal rope/leather one so that she knows and gets used to the length. I've had a couple of trainers tell me the same thing. Also, try going out for walks with lots of snacks and whenever she walks a good distance from you (so that your arm is not extended in her direction) immediately give her a treat. She's really really smart and should get the hang of it pretty quickly. Good luck!

Ooooh my gosh, Ash! I did exactly the same thing with the butter hahaha and when my parents finally found out where all the butter went they were so mad and my mom wanted to rush me to the doctor. I was like "guys, I do this every time we go out to dinner"

gentle leaders for the win! plus carry some treats with you to correct in the moment if she responds to food! i have a german shep + golden retriver mix who is 110 pounds and LOVES everyone...so we use a gentle leader - but harness style with the pull in the front. the face ones didnt work for him and we found ppl didnt want to interact bcuz they thought it was a muzzle. even though he's pretty good on walks now (he's 3) we make sure he wears it if we"re going somewhere crowded or high stimulus areas so that we dont revert back to bad behaviour!
obvs consistency helps - so if you have other ppl walking her, make sure you give them the same training and verbiage you're using! even like keeping the leash the same length when holding it! it can make a big difference!

I’m totally loling at the butter story. I was the exact same way. Nothing compares to country crock butter by itself. Lol. I love you!!!!! Also, get Stella a “walk right” harness! If you hook her leash to the front of it, she won’t pull! Hope this helps!

Ashley, in Aritzia there is at least one fitting room with a mirror. This is for people trying on bras. Just grab any bra and point out that you are trying one on before bringing your things in. You'll get the fitting room with the mirror.

I've seen that, but it's still annoying that there's only one fitting room with a mirror! I've complained to them about this several times and told them it's discouraged me from shopping there. Hopefully, they'll get the message.
Leash training: just take her out to a place where there is the least noise around. Maybe you can even do it inside your apartment. NY is a busy city and noises are stressful and challenging when trying to teach a pup. Rule 1: never hit or pretend to hit. Rule 2: reward good behavior Rule 3: be patient. Practice makes perfect.
Put leash on and make sure you have a straight line up to a place she is interested in going. Might be where her food is or toys. Then walk toward with her on the leash. She will likely pull and get a bit crazy. Every time she does stop and take three steps back. You have to make her understand that the calmer she is the quicker she gets there. Always make sure she is walking alongside or slightly behind you. When she doesn’t stop, pull on the leash a bit. If she gets uncontrollable stop, take the steps back and grab the little extra skin on back of her neck and slightly move her left right. That’s what her mom would do. Repeat. When she gets to the end reward her by playing, treat, feeding her etc etc. It will take time until she can do it properly and then you can deal with distractions of outside noise etc. Hope it helps :)

loved this vlog!! with teaching stella how to be good on a leash, my dog used to be bad too!! we had to teach him by not giving him any slack so he couldn’t run even the smallest bit ahead at all, the lead length keep him right at our side and every time he tugged we gave a little tug back and said heel (as in heel of your foot) sternly so he understand to that word meant stay at our side and not jump on people and tug at the leash!! takes time and practise and being really firm but he’s so well behaved now, hope this helps x
Libby Carr we just got a gentle leader leash for our puppy and it has been helping so much! She used to be really bad at pulling on the leash and jumping on other people, but now as soon as we put the gentle leader on she stays at our side and never tries to pull ahead

Get Stella a harness that has the loop on the front. When the dogs pull it turns them around because it pulls from the chest instead of the back. It has worked wonders on a mastiff and my boyfriend’s hound.

I didn't realize I liked this in vlogs till it happened, and don't get me wrong I love Ryan, but when ryan left on vacation and it was just you vlogging, you talked to us in the vlog a lot more. I felt like it was girl's night. hahah so it was way fun.

try the gentle leader for helping stella on the leash! I have 2 labs and they pull so badly - gentle leader has helped SO MUCH! it kind of looks like a muzzle but is nothing like one, and it doesn't hurt them at :)
dancer333 yes!!! We’ve used it with all of our dogs. It looks mean but I promise it’s not and it helps soooo much with pulling
Ryan - You can use the app Flipp when you are grocery shopping! It will tell you the best price for each item. I know you live in the city and you are limited but I do 4 different grocery stores to save! 😊

&&& I personally did not like the glossier products: ive tried, balm dot com it was okay just normal chapstick. the milk jelly i really didnt like because it didnt do a good job washing off my makeup and it left such a heavy filter on my face afterwards. The priming moisturizer I also wasnt impressed it had a scent I didnt really love but it wasnt a big deal but i didnt like it left also like a filter on my face!
This was the first time I tried Glossier but I was personally dissapointed. Let me know how you like it!

Love you blogs, that's no question. The only thing I've been wondering lately is that your products in Amerika (I'm from Germany) have SO much packaging around. And I don't mean the necessary packaging but the thousand foils and plastics the products are additionally packed in (9:51). It's quite a lot, double and tripple packed. What is you opinion on the whole minimal waste movement, do you think this much packaging is really necessary?
