The First Descendant PC - RX 7900 XTX i5 13600k 4k Max Settings Ray Tracing FSR Test

  • A FPS test of The first Descendant on PC steam with the AMD RX 7900 XTX and the i5 13600kf cpu at 4k max settings with and without ray tracing. Frame generation was not working well, maybe because I had AMD Anti lag on in the AMD adrenalin software. Frame generation should work fine if Anti Lag is off.

    Looks like this game has strong rt. Fps same or worse (i dont remember exactly) then 4070tis show (4k dlss Q)

    I love my AMD, but Nvidia takes the cake in this game. It runs so much better with DLSS. >_>
    Btw: can I ask if you have weird stutters while playing TFD? Im having those every now and then in the game. Also in Wuthering Waves, which is really weird. Im on a Sapphire RX 7900XT and Ryzen 5800x3D with 32 GB.

      Yes this game has the typical Unreal Engine traversal stutter when you are moving around the areas and something new is loading in. I haven't played Wuthering Waves, but that looks like it is an Unreal Engine game too, so probably the same stutters there.
