  • A four-day and three-night adventure riding the rapids of our local River Spey with our dog Apache. Gorgeous weather in July 2021 which meant hardly any bugs at all.
Follow us on our journey and experience the highs and lows along with us.

Thanks. Yes totally; this was during the dry spell. The bugs all appeared again a week or so later when the rain arrived 😬🦟🦟

Hey guys! Awesome adventure, great job! Just wondering what the river levels were like when you did it? Planning this Solo in late September! Thx for the advice and best wishes, Eze.

Thank you 🙏 Fred reckons the river was at around 0.5m in Aberlour. September is usually a good time 👌

Looks like you had a great trip, you certainly picked a good week for it.
Apache is a good boy, wish my indy was better on rapids.
I really love your appreciation for the trees and tell Fred he can come cook for me any time 😂
Really enjoying it so far, gives me some enthusiasm to do it soon. looking forward to the next one.
    All the best, Paul

Aw thanks Paul! 🙏 I thought you had already done the Spey or are you looking to do a multi-day trip? Fred's been down several times solo but that was only my 3rd. It certainly keeps you on your toes!

@@kfadventures7205 I've done a small section, but really want to do a multi day trip!
Thinking I might do the glass and Beauly next, bit gentler to see how indy gets on.

That would be lovely. On my list too for my new kayak 🛶 Indy looks so good in the canoe. 👌
