Hey, I’m I ketosis for 6 months now. By your arguments here, I should be in coma or dead! I am using ketone bodies as fuel (converted in the mitochondria to produce ATP). Brain can use Beta-HydroyButyrate as fuel. Revise your statement to mean ketone bodies are alternative fuel source. And besides, I am not starviing and quite active (2k swim or 5k runs at least 3x/week) and quite lucid (I am doing Linear Programming Analysis for the Petroleum Industry).
Deprive Carbs, Increase Fatty Acids to be in constant state of ketosis. BUT I would recommend eating a good amount of protein to generate gluconeogenesis. To produce glycogen for high-intensity exercises. Has there ever been adverse effects or, is their diseases relating to overproduction of glycogen or having too much glycogen in the body? Is that even possible?
This is really good, helps me understand my chapter for exams
Thnk u so much
