- Welcome back to another Business Class fight video my friends! I didn't think we'd be flying luxuriously in the sky again so soon! Join me today as I experience America's Best Business Class - JetBlue Mint. In this episode, I'll be flying from New York to Los Angeles over 6 hours on JetBlues A321 aircraft (ps. this business class layout is one of their older products, so I've been told). We'll check out the food (which is not your usual airplane meal), the service, the seat, the amenities and spoiler alert - I discover something on this flight that I've never experienced before on a plane!! I can't wait for you to join me!

Definitely try the new hard product of the mint suites! You'll see them going between LAX/SFO and JFK/BOS. The headphones used to be placed on the seats, but they were being swiped by other passengers or taken home by the passengers. Same thing with the amenity kit! There's actually a secondary amenity kit you can ask for.

They also go FLL to LAX non-stop and likely the reverse. As to the headphones, ask a flight attendant early. Waste time and miss your benefits. You paid enough to ask questions for free.

Thank you for sharing ypur flight here on JetBlue. Yes, most of travelers nowadays have their own headsets and we us them on most flights. I have always carry two sets with me. And I continue to carry hand wipes to clean airplane headsets and other items in my seat area.😊 So, next tome you fly have your own headsets or two or three as a backup when you fly.😊
Again, I hope you are able to use your credit card or airline points more in the future for Business Class on those long-haul flights.😊

Very good review. I also traveled with jetBlue MINT from New York JFK to San Diego at the beginning of August. However, the ticket price was quite high ($837,90 for a one-way JFK-SAN ticket even if it was more expensive with Delta), no door to isolate oneself in rows 2 and 4 was working and therefore could not be closed and the cubby door also had difficulty opening and closing.
Despite all these minor inconveniences, I really enjoyed to fly with jetBlue in Mint class, it was much better than when I went back from San Diego with Delta (it was cheaper) in their new A321neo first class. The only advantage is I was able to enjoy the Delta Sky Club in San Diego airport as I then returned to Paris from JFK the next day in business class with Air France, Delta's partner company. You should try next Virgin Atlantic Upper Class, it's their business class
Oh well good to hear you still enjoyed JetBlue Mint! Yes, the flights were all quite pricy - mine was actually one of the cheaper ones I could find. I'm quite keen to try Delta one day too!

Great content! Such a great spacious seat. Perhaps Emirates (a380) for the next business class type seat? I saw a commercial that shows being able to take a shower while flying! 🚿

Another great video Chloe! We live in Auckland and totally agree that our credit card options are way more limited here. Having said this, we recently acquired the Amex Platinum card. Expensive annual fee but it comes with lots of travel perks (including hotel statuses and airport lounge passes) and the points you earn can be transferred to all sorts of things, they’re way more flexible and versatile than Air NZ Airpoints. We discovered that Amex points can be transferred to Marriott points. In addition to using them for Marriott hotel stays, we have also transferred them on from Marriott to United Airlines (they have 30+ international airlines you can transfer to)! We are about to book two business class flights from LAX to London this way (no chance we could do this otherwise😂). Anywhoo, love your videos, keep up the great work!

The expensive annual fee definitely sounds worth it for all of the perks - and like you say, more versatile than my current card. Enjoy your United Business class flight!!🥳🎉
@@chloeandludvig Oh, and while of I think of it, historically every six months or so Marriott/Amex will run a 50% bonus points transfer promo. When the promo is on, for every Amex point transferred you will get 1.5 Marriott points, instead of the standard 1 Amex point equals 1 Marriott point. This can really ramp up your Marriott points if that's what you want to use these for!

I'm leaving for Saint-Martin island in the Caribbean on the 3 of February and I'm not so sure what is giving me more joy the flight or the holiday
Wonderful job as always Chloe😊 One good thing to point out is that this is the older first gen JetBlue Mint product and they have a newer product called Mint Suites and Mint Studio on their latest A321neos and A321LRs (primarily on their transatlantic flights to Europe but sometimes they pop up for domestic legs). That new iteration is in a 1-1 layout so everyone gets direct aisle access.
Also good thing to know is that JetBlue recently partnered up with Qatar Airways and you can now redeem Avios points for JetBlue flights. This is useful also for other flavours of Avios such as British Airways, Iberia and Aer Lingus as these can be shuffled over to Qatar Avios to make the booking

With a single aisle aircraft you don't have much room for more than 1-1 and 2-2 alternating.

Love this. BTW, the TWA hotel lobby and bar and rooftop area are fantastic but you DO NOT have to stay there to access those. And, the rooms are expensive and not worth the price. I recommend enjoying it as a visitor but don't stay there.

whenever you have food or drinks that slide across the tray table, just dampen a facecloth, hand towels, etc to place plates and containers on. They won't slide around. If no cloth rowes triple up with damp paper towels or napkins.

That price is not that bad tbh. I think I’d value this type of experience in Business class for that much because of everything you’d get. Though, id probably seek to pay $100 less for the trip though because, from my knowledge, I don’t get lounge access on either end of the journey (But feel free to correct me if I’m wrong😊)

Honestly that’s cheap for first class it can and does go as high as $1500 and some airline $2500 for that same route. I paid $730 jfk-las . Cheapest I ever seen was SEA-BOS $649

I'm doing this. The price wasn't so bad. For the experience. I have a Discover card and the points are absolutely ridiculous. They give you something like 2 points for every dollar you spend. Or 1 point for everyday purchases and 2 points for every Amazon dollar you spend. Something like that. It's purchased me entire vacations before. I pay my rent and my tuition with it and then just pay the bill. Its like getting free stuff lol. Just an idea for you to nab points. Great video, as always. ❤❤

My first experience with flying was HORRIBLE! From so.bend to Colorado. Hit turbulance all the way there. Thought the plane was gonna come apart. Get to Colorado and had to circle cuz there was a bad storm below. 7 planes circuling 😮. Flew a few times after that and was ok. Latly watching videos where planes crash. Whoa, a lot due to pilot errors or maintenence. I think ill drive from hear on out! Be safe!

Whenever I fly (which is not often) from the moment the door is closed I am consumed by only one thought - 'My God! If anything happens to this plane at any point in this flight, we are all DEAD!' And that thought is completely predominant in my mind until I feel the plane's wheels safely touch the ground. It is then I realize that I am back to being safe and I won't die in an airplane crash today. That's what flying is like for me.

We just arrived in LAX after a terrible JetBlue Mint experience. Basically 4.5 hours of delay and then no one notified us that there was NO FOOD on the 6 hours of transcontinental flight. A horrible experience. Just another example of the poor state of air service in the US. It sucked, don't fly JetBlue, it's a very poor value at best!!!

I enjoy your channel and suggest if you're going to spend way over $700 for a one way ticket where the movie selection doesn’t work, you have to ask for headphones and dinner is a bunch of appetizers, at least take a limo to JFK not the subway.
