(COE) for small and medium-sized vehicles has dropped the most, which is believed to be related to the increase in quotas by the Land Transport Authority in the next three months.
The interviewed local car dealers said that buyers of small and medium-sized car groups are currently holding their purchases and did not actively bid in this round of bidding, resulting in a drop in the price of COE by nearly $1,800.
Jesse Tan, the second Vice President of Singapore Vehicle Traders Association (SVTA), said: "The price will drop a little but not a lot. Although the current quota has increased, it will only be for a quarter. During the peak period, the quota is still very few - definitely, not enough vehicles for everyone to sell, and the fluctuation range should be within $3,000 to $5,000."
