1:06 Thanks a lot for the credits BestinSlot! I'm getting more and more excited about this new movie, but for now I'm trying to keep my hype as low as possible by not seeing a trailer or teaser.
Im actually starting to get excited for this movie! I really like the idea about utahraptors being "bad guys" but my love for carcha wishes to see one eventually in a movie :)
I wouldn’t trust the toy leaks, they are probably coming but for the Fallen Kingdom, Dominion, and Camp Cretaceous lines they all included dinosaurs that never appeared in any of those. Especially with Velociraptor, which they love repainting all the time.
I am 99% sure that the dead Parasaurolophus will be in the first 10 minutes of the movie. Its going to be the part where they tell us why the dinosaur population is going back and some species die out in most areas.
Maybe - but it's worth noting that the corpse is very specifically in a tropical location, they didn't film it on the England or Malta sets for example.
That specific Parasaurolophus is a World design though. It's the use of the Dominion design (and not say, a Sorna TLW design) that makes it interesting.
I like your theory of the large feathered raptor but the price of the leaked 'villain' dinosaur toy is like $50 so it's probably a generic large theropod.
I'd like to point out that just because something appears in the toy line, doesn't mean it's in the film. The Dilophosaurus, for example, didn't return until JWD. Yet it had a figure in every toy line.
I can imagin that Spinosaurus will have a similar Role like Rexy had in Fallen Kingdom, not as the Main Villain but as a Large Dinosaur that the Main Characters will sometimes Meet. As for the T-Rex, i can imagin that we get to see at least one T-Rex Action because its the T-Rex, basically the Face of the Franchise. Im to 90% Sure that we get one in the Movie even if it is just a small cameo
Dominion is my least favorite movie but I think it was decent and Colin I think is very overhated. Locusts might not be dinosaurs but genetic tampering is a key theme of the franchise and not irrelevant and I respect Colin's creative vision. It was for him we did not have human hybrids. Then storylines like militarizing dinosaurs in JW were actually influenced by Spielberg himself. I do wish the movie focused more on humans and dinosaurs on mainland concept but I just feel like Colin is scapegoated a lot !!
@@AnujChatterjee-q5bi fully agree, although i actually really enjoyed dominion, and rank it high, but let's be honest, every Jurassic movie so far was amazing
@@rogelioreyes79 no. Most likely not. The dominion para being in the set photos indicates that they most likely will reuse the old moddels rather than making new ones
My guess is that it’s Spinosaurus. The movie makers aren’t ill-informed. They understand there is a *huge* fan base waiting to see Spinosaurus again on the screen…24 years later!
It’s likely not Utahraptor. Mattel’s doing a Utahraptor, and this was announced at the same time as the Villain Dino. Andy’s Dinosaur Reviews included it in an update video.
I think what made the dromesaurs scary is the fact that they are a similar size to an average human. I would say a big dino (rex, spino, indom) is a bit less scary because its easier to hide from them. Just get in to a sturdy building and you should be safe. While a dromesaurid can follow you in to most hiding spots where a human could hide. This is just my opinion 🤷
I don't think the villain will be utahraptor. There is a "villain dino " figure listed and there is also a Utahraptor figure listed separately so that indicates it most likely isn't the villain. The figure also costs 50 dollars and figures that cost that much usually ends up beign big theropods .
The film could be taking place at several parts of the world, and it would be cool if they used the different Parasaurs for different locations since there’s so many variants and versions
Feathered velociraptors would be cool, but I wonder why they would be feathered. Maybe the dinosaurs on the island have been left alone long enough that there offspring have gained more accurate features. It could also be that the island was experimental, and most of the dinosaurs were made with barely any additional dna from modern animals.
What do you mean "if"? Of course there's going to be a T-Rex, its literally the face of the Jurassic franchise, if they removed it who would be the face for the Jurassic franchise? Giganotosaurus?
For "Old characters being given a whole new look" I just really hope the classic animals/designs aren't completely changed with no actual, in-universe reason behind it. If they are changed, I hope they explain how/why and when they changedm is what I'm getting at, instead of them just being magically updated to be more accurate without any explanation.
Most likely, they either evolved or different sub species to justify the changes. For example, like Xenomorphs have different designs from the original from every sequel they have been in.
I have a potential idea for the villain dinosaur for Jurassic World Rebirth, it is Fujianipus which is a recently discovered dinosaur that might be the largest species of dromaeosaur.
Super excited for this movie i just hope they don't fully change all the dinosaurs we seen in the franchise and i don't know if it will happen in chaos theory or and rebirth but i would love to see cenozoic era animals in the franchise like a mammoth, smilodon (again from camp Cretaceous we need another one) giant sloth, wolly rhino, and terror bird and more species of that era.
this has so far been the most exciting jurassic film to speculate about. mainly because this is the first film in a while that actually has potential to be really well made because of the team involved with it

After working in zoos, animal hospitals and even a little in museums. It makes sense with the environment not being suitable to Dino’s but that’s a piece of science to explore that can maybe make people look at similar situations in today plus is loads of science goodness
The more I hear the more I actually get super excited for this one, I hope we get some form of dinos not seen before to specially for the as u say villain dino, and I really hope there is more horror in this like the original.
On a different note, hey Bestinslot what potential effect of rebirth do you think will have on JWE3 ??? Especially with the synopsis of rebirth of limiting the global scope and types of species?? Just curious
Don't mind me, just catching up on things in all the wrong order. But I would love to see more feathered dinosaurs. And I would love a slightly smaller apex predator compared to things like the Spino, Giga, and T. rex. I'm curious to see what dinosaurs (and designs) we get in this film. There's definitely some promise, here.
You could tie feathered dinosaurs into representations of feathered serpents in Mayan art and architecture. I mean, that large cave set they built screams feathered serpent, and you can see the similarities between that and any feathered “villain” dinosaurs in the movie.
This is perhaps a massive reach but that wounded parasurolophs kind of reminds me of the wounded iguanodon that helped introduce the giganotosaurus in chased by dinosaurs. Perhaps a similar scene is in the movie introduce a new carnivore
I’ve got a sneaky suspicion of a paleo accurate spino making it into the film. Plenty of speculation about the spino return and I don’t think they’d want to bring it back to squash it or to make it e big standard giga or irex so I think perhaps it returns in a more paleo accurate form so we see spino again but not as we know it. I also endorse the use of an Utah raptor. Can’t see the point of a new villain and it being another huge therapod (more of the same) a Utah raptor is just as deadly and a new take on it
Because the Spinosaurus is in such high demand from fans, I’d say referring to the animal as the “villain dinosaur” it’s to maintain secrecy of the identity of the animal. It would cause sudden outrage very early if Mattel, for example, revealed the identity of the animal
Could this "villian dino" be a Sarcosuchus? I'm probably jumping the gun with this one, but it is an aquatic type of dino, and it would be cool to see JW's first take on a crocodile design (even though it would probably be a simplistic design) Edit: we got 4 new dinosaurs with Dominion, which are the Quetz, the Therizinosaurus, the Pyrotaptor, and the dimetrodon, so it would probably be something that we haven't seen before in a movie...
Maybe I'm crazy but I think the parasaurolophus head shape could be a little bit different From the model used in Dominion...the nostrils and the beak have different shapes.
Dear God, by them having feathered dinosaurs and a new iteration of the velociraptors I really hope they are not leaning into the idea of that scrapped videogame of the dinosaurs "re-evolving" into their pure original forms from when they were alive (without DNA from other creatures filling in the gaps in their genome)
Obviously the villan dinosaur for this film would not be the indominus Rex but I will mention that its DNA is still out there in the tooth Owen has from it.
