What a nightmare! Do all siamp flushers twist out like that. The cable on mine broke where it fits to the button! I got a replacement cable but for some reason where the cable fits to the flusher the little plastic arm that pushes up keeps Getting stuck in the up position so the button won’t return to its original position 🤯

Try squirting a lubricant down the cable guide. The cable siezes inside it sounds like. Same thing happened on mine.
