- In this weeks video we are taking a look at the differences between two sets of darts that the internet went crazy over a few days ago. The darts in question are the LOXLEY ROBIN 1 & the MISSION SATURN HYPERION.
ARE THEY THE SAME DARTS???

WHATS ACTUALLY HAPPENED???
All I really saw from this was something said about both sets by our own @Edgartvdarts, I would love to hear what everyone else thinks about these sets of darts?

Congratulations on the 1.5 k subscribers. After watching your unbiased review,it was good to see even though the barrel are a similar shape they are different lengths & completely different grip with one being sandblasted & other being smooth. I think after watching your review I would prefer the Mission set👌🎯👍
Mission for me I think. I've commented on the original video that Mission released of these sets. Eventually a second manufacturer is going to make a similar model as another. Plus every manufacturer has made Eric Bristow or John Lowe style darts, it was always going to happen. Great video, keep up the good work 👍🏼🎯
I'm a big Loxley fan so when the Hyperion was announced I was put off because it's such a unique design (unlike a "natural" design like ring grip straight barrels).
FWIW I also use a Samurai Infinity board and Sabre stems (which I'm surprised you don't like; I think they are the best available for several reasons) so I'm not totally biased.
All that said, I'd really like to try the Hyperion in order to have a real opinion on them, so that would be my choice.
I don't mind too much they used the same shape as I have wanted the Loxley version for a long time and are very hard to get in 23g. One issue I had with missions new release is they stated in their TH-cam release video thst they were unique, when clearly they are not
So good to get an unbiased opinion. Gotta be the OG Loxleys
Was waiting for someone to do that kind of video!😄 A lot of people commented on that similarity on Mission‘s launch video, too. I‘d prefer the Mission ones as sandblasted darts just look incredibly nice 🎯
Btw, there‘s a Rustic Robin set too, I think. With the coating as seen on the Boulders
Same with the Red Dragon Razor Edge (27,95€) and the Winmau Sabotage (47,95 €). Different name, different price, but exact the same shape.
Will love them both. I wish to get my hands to that loxely bcos they not bringing in this brand to my country and it’s the original version. Mission anyway I just cancelled my 24g order bcos waiting for the 22g. Nice comparison review with detail. Much help needed. Thank you for good review ❤
Got a few sets of Loxleys and love them, but have yet to try any of the Mission darts. I choose the Missions because i am curious.
I used loxley first edition for quite sometimes...but when I noticed Mission Hyperion released..I sold Loxley to my friend..and bought a new Mission for a replacement.. it's seems like having a good grip instead... loxley is a nice dart..but slightly less grip and hard to handle...for sure

Missions as i think as the Loxley's would drop out the hand....but theyve got to match up to the Nastri's you told me about 👍

The mission look like an upgrade. They are a little special.I like them a lot.
Mission has made them in the weights that Loxley don’t do so that’s great for us and any darts for me on the giveaway 😀

They are the same design, you can get the robins with a grip aswell.

I saw this on twitter aswell about them being copied. They do look very similar. Got to be loxley for me always like the look of there darts never had a set. Great video keep up the good work with the channel 👍

Tbh companies have been copying barrel designs for years just look at the legend section from darts corner I don’t think it matters much they will be different enough not to get in trouble lol 😂.

54mm too short for you?!! That's a long dart! Missions for me please
When I watched it back I realised what I’d said 😂 the darts aren’t short but the way they’re presented with the smooth tungsten at the back makes the dart feel short, if you know what I mean?

I don’t know why there was such a stink about these. There is so many even barreled darts that are almost the same dart and no one says anything about those. The old Adrian Lewis jackpots and the new Luke littlers are basically the same dart just one has Swiss point. Who cares?
