As I saw it the fact that Denmark kept attacking even after their 2-1 lead and that the equaliser goal was scored just a minute before the 90 ( might ) be some proof that it was a fair match.

Also, even though you are not accussing anyone of anything I still find the fact that you feel like having to find proof why it wasnt fixed rather than the reverse to sadly be kind of symptomatic for how a vocal italian minority has seemingly managed to skew the view on this whole situation. It was a fixed game. 1st of all that penalty was a joke, 2nd of all Tomasson's goal was just an experiment, a fluke, to try anything like that from that range especially as a striker in the box happens mostly when you feel like playing, having fun. The fact that Denmark continued to attack although every natural instinct would have told them to conserve the score since they were at the top of the group i would consider it if not intentional but a wrong thing to do because you are continuing to let yourself exposed. Don't forget when trying to fix a game you don't need to align with ALL the players on the pitch, especially when trying to obtain a draw, it's enough to align with 2-3 players, with the forwards and a midfielder and the chance of obtaining a draw will be very high. Also let's not forget how Denmark qualified at this Euro, just look at their qualifying matches, a lot of shady referee decisions in their group.

Italy played poorly in this tournament, despite a stone team with Del Piero and many others. They drew Denmark. They drew Sweden (amazing flick by Ibrahimovic). And they were drawing Bulgaria until extra time, whom the Nordics had beaten by 5-0 and 2-0. You can’t really complain much with that performance. And once the score in this match reaches the dreaded 2-2 at the 89th minute, why wouldn’t both teams play conservatively as to not die on a counterattack? That’s football.

Very wrong! There are no similitudes between this crap fixed game between the Denmark team and Swedish team, and the game between Italy and Wales. Everybody talked back then, in euro 2004, that the result between those teams would be 2-2 and it was 2-2. Maybe you don't know how the Denmark team qualified for that Euro 2004, being helped alot by Urs Meyer, the well known referee of that times, in the decisive match with Romania. It was very clear that Uefa wanted the north countries to be powerful at that Euro. So clear that, maybe you forgot, after this Euro, there were some big changes in Uefa, because this game was such a big corruption proof that even the biggest fans of those who were in charge back then in Uefa, couldn't comment or argue anything in their defence. Did you actually watch the video. Denmark was up 2-1 and kept attacking, trying to score another goal. The Swedish goalkeeper had to make real saves to stop them. That's not something you do, if the game was fixed. Sweden only scored in the last minute. There is literally nothing shady about this match.

Honestly, being such a bitter and deluded person as to honestly think this match was fixed is a level of dishonesty and gall that I personally dont find a world cup gold to be worth, and though I know the word integrity is just as much worth nowadays as a non-pandemic roll of toilet paper, Id rather have that. As shifty as it might sound for someone to called themselves honest, I do think Im too honest to be able to live with myself if deliberate lying and delusion is the price to pay for it.
Also, you are the "attacker" in this case, what with your maliscious accusations, the fact that you feel like you are the one who should make some sort of revenge/comeback motion in this case is honestly kind of pathetic.
Also, yea, I would expect Italy to usually be better than Sweden (duh!), though obviously not always, noone is suprised nor claimed anything to the countrary, or maybe we should turn it around and count Icehockey world cup golds instead? Fixed match definitely, football is not just a game but exchange of interest. I saw some below want to spin the focus to Italian's match fixing before but deny this match as fixing. But honestly they are not contradicting each other and could be occurred at the same time.

Did you actually watch the video. Denmark was up 2-1 and kept attacking, trying to score another goal. The Swedish goalkeeper had to make real saves to stop them. That's not something you do, if the game was fixed. Sweden only scored in the last minute. There is literally nothing shady about this match.
