    Jordy I really appreciate your videos and I especially like this spoon carving with the dremel..when you do make a video for beginners, you do not bore us by showing the detail cuts that you eliminated on this video...that's how we learn to cut off and trim the unnecessary thickness or learn to design our spoons..so please show as much of the "boring" cuts as well as the overall cuts...thanks, you do an amazing job for all of us!

    Carved wooden spoons look better when you can tell it was hand carved. You can go to Walmart and buy a perfect one. My Mom never hit us with a wooden spoon, she just threw her sandals at us.

    Maybe you will use the spoon Jordy for your breakfast porridge, or porage depending on how you want to spell it. But nice simple video and it shows how versatile the Dremel can be, not just for wood spirits eh Jordy, you are the man to show us. Stay safe Jordy, hope your jaw has calmed down, now you sound ok anyway.

    I have been carving for a month and a half in that time I have burned up two walmart brand rotary tools. Are Hyper Tough rotary tools just plain garbage or am I doing something wrong? How often should I expect a Dremel to burn out? Is replacing tools just part of the hobby?

    • @CarvingFusion

      Did u try and see if the brushes can be changed?

    • @richardbraxton3662
      @richardbraxton3662 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@CarvingFusion the first one was rechargeable and did not have accessible brushes. It just started to make a funny noise and died on me. The second one stopped spinning freely, and the wires started smoking, but the brushes were almost completely new.
      Thanks for your videos. My six year old and I saw your video on a wood spirit birdhouse, and he begged to make one. Now he has me make him all kinds of stuff.

    I am very interested in the colour difference in the spoon. Is it caused by the wood plank its carved from being made of two different kinds of wood, or is it due to a biological process happening within the tree? Or is it caused by the storage conditions of the plank?

    • @CarvingFusion
      @CarvingFusion  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes its all within the wood,

    Goodness, that must take a really long time with a Dremel. I carve the same spoon by hand with knives and gouges. Minus sanding the spoon takes roughly 20-35 minutes to carve, depending on the size, and design.
