My biggest enemy is honestly the timer. I know my cards and the combo lines but Idk my opponent's cards half the time. Doesn't help that the card text makes it so hard to tell what effects I need to look out for esp in GY. The moment I figure out my outs or lethal line I don't have enough time to do so. I've been learning important cards, noting what they do with bullet points but there are so many..

Personally I took out tri gate and selene for the utopic future cards, and swapped 2 ash for a veiler and noble knight shield bearer, but I've been having a lot of fun with this deck!

Hey Dread Guy, I was wondering your thoughts about this whole "60-ish card decks". I See the value in these large number builds, to avoid drawing the garnets, Im just concerned that this sort of build is bad outside of Best of 1 format, since drawing side cards becomes unlikely, especially crossouts and called by when you need it the most. I am currently considering trying 60 card build for the tcg, but the only way I can see it working is siding all 15 for game 2/3. Id just like to hear your thoughts on the topic.
You are right, 60 works better in Bo1 than in Bo3 because post side doesn't exist We play many bricks and if you top it off with non engine it's almost impossible to play 40, we compensate it a little by playing a higher deck count + 1 card combo potential and many starters/extenders that allow us to combo even with medicore hands like Golden Rule + Mammoth for example
@DreadguyGX I'm tempted to play build, assuming I'll win game 1 of 2 in a bo3, and then side 15 for game 3 cards with a 60card main. Maybe less than 60, bit 50+
The deck is so good for playing through all kinds of shenanigans. Love the duels, putting meta in their place! (Also, the set 6 player getting their field shuffled was too funny💀)
I took a similar build to regionals last weekend secured a top 8 place. I managed to win against snake-eye, branded, chimera, marincess and voiceless voice only challenge was against floo🤕 sadly they opened shifter and D fissure 2 out of 3 games did make it tougher with Riaza coming out but the deck performed extremely well all thanks to your perseverance and guidance. KEEP IT UP BROTHER!!!!!✊ 💙💙
@antinomyplayz well for the going first I prioritized more on link climbing because it did help setting up an extra omni negate with tri-gate wizard along gameciel/ miracle and regulus. Also included some others like saryuja, I:P, S:P, zealantis ( kept as constant between main and side) , Accesscode ( was expecting some Kash players who think we can't win without overdrive), barricade Borger/ knightmare Phoenix ( depends on personal preference - to help set up the tri-gate cause i didnt have Ib- I used Phoenix just for the draw 1 on co-link), and underworld goddess. N.B. My opponents surrendered after my first turn everytime cause they couldn't play through 3 to 4 omni negates + apolo+ plus board shuffle😉 For the going second builds I tried to play a more controlled extra deck to help keep game in check till I was able to bring out the board wipe for OTK. So I used Zeus, Bagooska, Exciton knight, chidori. Dugares and springans package also another few names that stayed constant without siding I did also have one more odd one just for purely going second build which was Apkallone mini shaddoll package
@antinomyplayz sorry I forgot to add the additional support for the side, basically half of my side was switching between links and xyz monsters (game dependant) and second half was mini shaddoll engine with more game relevant spells and traps, namely: evenly matched at 2, cosmic at 2 ( worked wonders against snake-eye, fire kings variants and pure, also was quite disruptive against voiceless voice for getting rid of their continuous spells as their searchers) and lastly was switching between Belle and droll cause snake-eye sadly can set up a field quite good even under droll so Belle was much better option to challenge the flameberge

I wish blue-eyes was as consistent as crystal beast… I’d like to play around disruption like you do cause it’s just so cool playing around big negate boards! Only deck I played that had that level of consistency was dragon link.
What would you say is the best way to learn this deck? I just built it since i love rainbow dragon, but i almost lost every duel so far xD thought about going back to my branded despia, but i don't really want to..
