the Blood Axes actually outsmarted the Tau, in Da Big Raid during the War of Dakka. instead of directly attacking a powerfull Tau battleship, they took a ship, got inside the only space station that could resuply the battleship, with the Tau commander dismissing the idea of the orks infiltrating the station. they destroyed the station, thus the battleship got out of bullets and was destroyed, resulting in the entire system being taken.
It's also worth mentioning that because teef decay once removed and can grow back after the fact, the ork economy is surprisingly well balanced since they can't hoard wealth.
The only minor factions you missed, that would make for good videos in of themselves with enough references and speculation, are the Dred Mobs and the Grot Revolutionary Committee. I really hope this means you’ll be making a Gorkamorka video one of these days!
I loved the old (2nd edition I think) description of how the other Orks view the Bad Moons' wealth; "Other Orks don't consider this an unfair advantage as if you're hard enough you can always bash a Bad Moon on the head and steal his teef". Been subbed for about 4 months now. Been a 40k super fan most of my life and always hated how the lore was presented especially on YT. You sir have managed to make 40k interesting enough with your own personal humor and flare that my girlfriend for the first time will actually allow it to be played in the car. I think it's orks specifically that have the Waaagh! energy. Grots and gremlins and such don't possess any attachment to Waaagh! but are still bound to its rules, once set by actual "ork" orks. Not sure but that's my guess
Err, you got a few things wrong. Deathskulls are not sneaky, they are looters by trade and do not wait out a fight or attack the weakest. What the do is if they see an enemy with a dead Killy tank or Titan they want. They attack said enemy to get it. But to do so they use all the firepower they have in one big go so Deathskull invasions and attacks tend to be short battles instead of lengthy scraps like most orks enjoy. Once the battle is over, then ironically a more lengthier battle is waged and that is who gets what in the loot pickings. They are seen as thieving gitz but if you want a huge load of dakka, then you need the Deathskull looters. Blood Axes are the orks that are not trusted by others, save for Deathskulls and Freebooters because Blood Axes and the sneakiest gitz thanks to their understanding of tactics. Orks in general use strategies in their waaagh’s from using overwhelming force to attack their foes but the Blood Axes use tactics to co-ordinate their kill squadz to hit the enemy where they least expect it. Their are famous for their kommando’s and Stormboys. Also Blood Axes are also mercenary in nature as they open trade or work with the imperium so they are also in the freebooters. Just saying.
Freebooters are different from Blood Axes. Blood Axes borrow a lot from the Imperium, and will wearing similar clothes to commissars. Freebooters dress like literal pirates

Grots don't grow like orks do, they have a size limit, that's why the grots during the beast arises war weren't bigger than ordinary grots, even though the orks under the beast were usually much larger than you're average ork. And a grot the size of an ork boy would be ridiculous, since boyz are about 1.80 to 2 meters tall. Grots that big have never been described, at least on mass, and certainly not in the beast arises series (from what i recall).
Deathskullz are hilarious because they don't wait for the fight to be over to start looting. They've hop onto a baneblade or leman russ with power tools and wrenches and start taking off panels and guns while the human crew is still inside it trying to fight them off

Yes. Bluddaxes are the masters at being sneaky. A Bludd Axe Kommando is freaking terrifying and almost impossible to catch and kill and use camouflage even while fighting. Deathskulls, however, are more about ambushes and looting. Yeah, they do use their fate in their luck to try to sneak behind enemy lines or into their supplies or broken weapons to find the best loot, but as soon as they have to fight : they will shoot with everything they found and upgraded, and won't even try to hide themselves. They like to make ambushes, but it's just so they can shoot first and get rid of big vehicules like tanks or dreadnougt with a hidden rokkit launcha and some mines before starting to shoot like crazy, while Bluddaxes will try to stay sneaky and push the WAAAAAGH ! into a more guerilla style battle.
Yeah, Blood Axes are the sneaky guys who'll do feint charges and flanks, or send in kommandos to soften up enemy forces. They're much more Morky than Gorky!
My favorite Ork of all time is Barbog. Rest in peace... Barbog decided that writing in red/reading in red would be faster and allow him to become smarter. The more he read and wrote in red, the smarter he became; the smarter he became, the more depressed he got. He ended up krumping himself from all the knowledge. Very sad gitz.
Why the black and white checker pattern is so prominent is simple: Black is Killy, and White is 'Ard. Thats why the Goff's eschew all other colors except for those two (except for green of course), as thats all an Ork needs.
My green paint was all dry when I got my OrK starer set in 2002. I painted them all purple and said they were poison mushrooms. Finding out later about the actual purple orks always makes me a little sad that I wasn't original. I had lots of purple on hand because both my brotonians and lizardmen had purple as a main color.
What about the Wyrm-killa clan? Although they might be a sub-clan of the Snakebites. They began when a bunch of Orks got trapped on a space hulk with some Nids, and decided they are great for a scrap so they release some Nids on every planet they come across. Terrifying.
Apprently another clan not sure which one captured some Tyranid organism....starting shooting the Tyranids as they climbed the huge chains then got bored and the Orks threw it away. Unknowingly it was close to a Imperial system and fucked it up as it hit one of there planets.

Deathskullz are hilarious because they don't wait for the fight to be over to start looting. They've hop onto a baneblade or leman russ with power tools and wrenches and start taking off panels and guns while the human crew is still inside it trying to fight them off
I found another way to make an ork stealthy aside from painting him purple: make him sad.
Because have you ever seen a sad ork? No. Because they are invisible.

Yes. Bluddaxes are the masters at being sneaky. A Bludd Axe Kommando is freaking terrifying and almost impossible to catch and kill and use camouflage even while fighting. Deathskulls, however, are more about ambushes and looting. Yeah, they do use their fate in their luck to try to sneak behind enemy lines or into their supplies or broken weapons to find the best loot, but as soon as they have to fight : they will shoot with everything they found and upgraded, and won't even try to hide themselves. They like to make ambushes, but it's just so they can shoot first and get rid of big vehicules like tanks or dreadnougt with a hidden rokkit launcha and some mines before starting to shoot like crazy, while Bluddaxes will try to stay sneaky and push the WAAAAAGH ! into a more guerilla style battle.
Yeah, Blood Axes are the sneaky guys who'll do feint charges and flanks, or send in kommandos to soften up enemy forces. They're much more Morky than Gorky!

My favorite Ork of all time is Barbog. Rest in peace... Barbog decided that writing in red/reading in red would be faster and allow him to become smarter. The more he read and wrote in red, the smarter he became; the smarter he became, the more depressed he got. He ended up krumping himself from all the knowledge. Very sad gitz.

Why the black and white checker pattern is so prominent is simple: Black is Killy, and White is 'Ard. Thats why the Goff's eschew all other colors except for those two (except for green of course), as thats all an Ork needs.

My green paint was all dry when I got my OrK starer set in 2002. I painted them all purple and said they were poison mushrooms. Finding out later about the actual purple orks always makes me a little sad that I wasn't original.
I had lots of purple on hand because both my brotonians and lizardmen had purple as a main color.

What about the Wyrm-killa clan? Although they might be a sub-clan of the Snakebites. They began when a bunch of Orks got trapped on a space hulk with some Nids, and decided they are great for a scrap so they release some Nids on every planet they come across. Terrifying.

Apprently another clan not sure which one captured some Tyranid organism....starting shooting the Tyranids as they climbed the huge chains then got bored and the Orks threw it away.
Unknowingly it was close to a Imperial system and fucked it up as it hit one of there planets.
