I was wondering your opinion on what is the best, most hands off, maintenence free, mopping robot. I have the braava jet 240 from irobot, I was wondering if there's any better ones. I heard about the Norwal mopping robot which seems better because it cleans its own scrubbing brushes so you don't have to do that yourself.
Both the Veniibot and Narwal are ok. Keep in mind you do have to wash the mopping pads by hand occasionally because of the mildew that builds since there no drying function. The Narwal is hard to find. All of these mopping robots require prep work and after maintenance. The easiest I found was the braava jet m6 with the disposable mops. Just add water and mopping pad. Once you are done throw away the pad.
@@RobotMasters thanks for the feedback! Yeah the closest thing i saw was the narwal, because it cleans its brushes, and I heard it has an air dry feature too, so all you have to do is fill the water at the beginning, and empty the dirty water at the end, very hands off. But I guess we may have to wait for the future if we want a completely hands off robot
Hi. What is your opinion on any of the Proscenic models versus the Kyvol S31? I’m on my 4th S31 because the roller brush keeps breaking off in the area where it gets inserted into the one end...the smaller end, and it’s not fixable. TIA
Sorry to hear about the end breaking on the Kyvol. So if you are looking for the self emptying system, the Proscenic does offer the M7 Pro with self emptying. Very similar to the Kyvol amzn.to/30jsEBR. From my experience I didn’t have any issues with the extractor bar. Another option is the 850t which is a more basic Proscenic robot Vacuum. You don’t get the smart mapping. So if you liked the Kyvol and the only issue was the extractor bar breaking than the M7 Pro might be a good alternative.
Does adjusting water levels work? I recently bought one and notice that the hole to feed the water leak all the time even when i dont use the mopping and water levels makes no difference.
Should be able to adjust the water flow. The water should stop since it electronically controlled. I would reach out to Proscenic and see if they can give a more concrete answer about the water flow stopping.
@@RobotMasters much appreciate pal. Cant understand the mechanism of water flow at all. Must be a gimmick. The tank just leak and feed water all the time. If you can find any solution pls let me know
So this robot uses Gyros and Accelerometers that estimates it location. As long at the robot doesn't get physically moved it will know where it clean and where it needs to clean and finish once the cleaning done.
Thanks I think my personal favorites around the $150 mark is the Z70 amzn.to/3SnoylF and the g30 www.amazon.com/dp/B07RHZ6CVX/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_2BGX6MMNKHJDT77NQNQB?linkCode=ml2&tag=robotmasters-20

Nathan is this thing a real electronic-controlled water tank? The different settings don’t seem to make much a difference, I don’t hear any audible water disposal like on the M6 and M8 with electronic-water controlled tanks. I tried the Ultenic D5 and it “allowed” me to change water levels in the app but it just made a sloppy constant drippy mess.
Yeah not sure how accurate the pumps are. I usually pre wet the mopping pad and in the beginning are very wet, over time if I have it on a low water level it will decrease the flow. I noticed on some models like the Roborock seemed to have better control over the water.
Why mine is becamed very loud it emitt a ticking sound while riding around it came from the wheels on the carpet it is very quiet...i tried to remove he weel but i saw that inside theres the motor that push the robot so i think i will return to amazo,is not possible that it becamed very loud after 20 days, and by he way it doesentnot recognize the carpet

Great Video. I just got a 850p. I have a question. How does the robot know that it is done cleaning? Or does it runs until it is time to recharge?

@@RobotMasters So basically it will eventually return to it's base to recharge without any human intervention.
