With all these guitars I've been seeing from you lately I am guessing you've cashed in your super recently? My mum just died last week, so I will be getting probate on the rest of my trust fund in a few months! Hmm now what to get? 🤔
Sorry to hear about your mum, man! Still working, just, but have many guitars collected over the years (lost count) that haven't been pitted against each other, as yet. Thomann have been good, they drop the tax, usually, which makes up for the postage (for when you are thinking about buying). 👍🏻👍🏻
@@650thunderbird Yeah, ordering from them is a bit hit & miss! I tried to order some strings from them a while back cos the discount was good, but the postage was more than the strings! Still wanted to charge me a flat $88 to ship to Oz regardless of package size & value of purchase! Yeah, thanks for your sympathies, but mum had been struggling with dementia for ~ 10 years & had been in aged care for 8. I'm not upset at her leaving, it's been a struggle for me as well, & now that's over so a big relief for all of us! (Her suffering & my responsibilities!) Cheers TB!
I can relate to your story, mine had dementia also. A cruel disease for all concerned. You can't buy small from Thomann, two guitars is the sweet spot for postage, then add bits and pieces to it for "free".
@@650thunderbird Yeah, I worked that out! I bought 2 basses from them 18 mths ago, & that worked out well! Small orders are ok if you're in the EU/Uk etc, or N Am where the distance is not so far! As to my mum, yeah she'd spent the last 8 years of her 'life' in 2 nursing homes! My dad had trouble dealing with it. GLAD he's not here to see how she ended up!

Neck sounded really good on both guitars. What are using for your rhythm there in the background?
Fender American Elite Telecaster loaded body with a Japanese neck. th-cam.com/video/9mlPsL9fyls/w-d-xo.htmlsi=mAhpi-0ULkrKu0Gl
