I used to watch these races whenever they were televised. They quit showing these events on Speed TV a long time ago. I also used to watch DTM from Australia. That looks like a blast! You must have had a lot of fun. Got to smell some burning rubber and see some really cool race cars. You are truly living the dream. We still have Pikes peak and some other great hill climbing here, though. Love watching Rhys Millen flying up that hill in a speed monster.
Pikes Peak is one of those races that I have always dreamed of seeing and filming. I hope one day to come to the USA for this reason (and also to see NASCAR, Indycar, Tractor Pulling, Monster Trucks and all those other spectacular motoring things in your country) 🖐
@@Italiansupercarvideo you would love it. I will say this, it is not the way it use to be. Most of the series are to commercialized and not family friendly the way it use to be, but still worth seeing. I have a friend living in Austin where the F1 track is. He wants me to come visit so we can catch up and go to the race. Unfortunately, I can no longer stand to fly. Who knows what the future will bring. Only God can heal me and get me there. You could visit one of the state fairs to see a lot of these events. I loved going to the Indiana State Fair and seeing everything. Cotton candy, corn dogs, cheese curds, chocola milk, tractor pulls, sprint cars and many other delights are waiting at many state fairs. Indy has multiple events now. I know Pentske owns the Indy Speedway now, so I must imagine there have been some improvements made. The museum, golf course and loads of other things have probably been worked on. You would not believe how big the track is. It used to hold 425,000 people every year. Bless you….

I'm used to going to events with 100,000/150,000 people, but over 400,000 is a crazy thing to conceive; in America, everything is big... I hope your health improves and you will take those trips you canìt make now 🖐
@Italiansupercarvideo thank you, I appreciate it. I have communicated a lot with folks from other countries, and they visit and are blown away by the size of things here. It is a shame we have such abundance yet - we still have areas in this country where people starve and live on the street. The devide between wealthy and poor is widening here because of too liberal policies. I can only give when I can. Some folks choose to live on the street, but more don't choose it. They simply lose their homes because of the high cost of living. I live in Southern California, San Diego County. We have the best weather in the world, hands down, but the cost of being here is so high. I pay $1200 US to live in my studio apartment. Only San Francisco is more expensive, and maybe parts of New York can be more expensive, like Central Park West. Hawaii is also very expensive. The weather isn't as good as ours, though. I hope you get a chance to visit. I enjoy watching podcasts on Italy. There is one from a couple living in Maine. She is Italian, and they compare food we have here to authentic Italian dishes. They also filmed their trip to her home in Italy. There is another guy that has a pizzeria. He shows how to make Italian pizza. He also filmed his trip home and did some videos from two of his friends, pizzeria in Italy. Anyway, bless you, my friend. May you have a peaceful week.

I watch many different channels, and one Italian guy who lives and works in the United States shows real America, not only in cinema but also in rural areas of the central areas and poverty. Even in Italy and Europe, things have changed significantly and worsened in the last 30 years. Unfortunately, wrong policies, such as Italy's entry into the single currency of the Euro and many wrong choices, such as the relocation of companies, have increased poverty more than ever since the end of the Second World War. @@enricocelani8292 No, non saprei che motore abbia. La Catheram se non sbaglio montava i Ford Duratec da 2.0-Litri ed anche il 2.3 Cosworth da 260cv. La base dunque era già ottima, se poi lo si elabora o gli si mette su un bel turbo grosso, l'auto diventa un siluro come questa 😅
Si, nei prototipi è abbastanza frequente se non una consuetudine, avere l'unico posto al centro della vettura per questione di guidabilità, peso, visuale, ecc, ecc.
