Thanks very much. That code may very well come back--resetting it doesn't fix the actual problem. But, cars also have good days and bad days, just like us. That problem could have happened on a bad day and never again, so there's a chance, but it will likely be back.
Not for 45 bucks, come on. 4500 bucks, maybe. But then if it were that easy, everyone would be doing that, and they don't need to own the tool, just know someone who has it. While you may have a very legitimate reason for needed to change it, others are unscrupulous. So forget the whole idea.
