@@thepresidentofzoo3040 False. They are semi-aquatic. They don't live full time in water. That's why the AZA care manual requires 1/2 to 2/3 of the exhibit be land. Also, only sea otters fur is waterproof. So river otters can really only spend 1 hour in the water at a time or else they will drown.
Lol hearing you say "I use cattails in every God damn project" was so unexpected and funny.
Is it the best? You Otter believe it.

I love the pool technique & waterfall one...I might have to borrow that in my builds, great job Leaf!
this is otterly one of the otter habitats of all time
It’s so otterly cute
Hahaha
Very nice looking habitat! Needs more land though, and some nice rocky spots to sunbathe and let their fur dry!
I'm in awe, the underwater mossy rocks are amazing, have to try it!
I’ve actually found a place where they have wild river otters
is it functional? can they escape?
Also the North American river otter mod for planet zoo doesn’t work and when I put them in my habitat they just stand there
It looks fantastic Mr Leaf! I hoped to make a good otter pun, but I'm no good at these 😖 Incredible job nevertheless!
Thanks my friend! 😃
If you don't mind me asking, what type of computer do you use?
Excuse me can i download
I don’t doubt that.
I love this habitat. Do you have a Discord server?

The best otter habitat... proceeds to make a habitat with more water space than land space.
Does have nice rockwork though.
My Lord, I must inform you... that otters... are aquatic.
@@thepresidentofzoo3040 yes and they are very social and some accounts they would eat a dead pelican in the sf bay

@@thepresidentofzoo3040 that would make sense because they're neither aquatic or semi-aquatic.
