Just the fact that he was carrying a gun while doing all of this says so much about him. He’s running around sucker punching people in the back of the head, but if someone gets upset at that and attempts to defend themselves, he plans to shoot them?! Disgusting.

Yea, I believe he was going to hurt them like with that weapon also. Also when he said that the injured person gives him a "handshake" and a "hug", Its cause he is brandishing the weapon on them.

We have laws for what we call “coward punching” in Australia. Multiple people have died from being hit this way. There’s a man in my town with a brain injury from it. The fact that he came outside and said all that rubbish just shows you he doesn’t care. He’s only worried about getting in trouble.

Agreed. Coward punching should be prosecuted as attempted murder.

thats kind of perfect actually, because its also kind of humilliating
can you imagine the typical "what are you in for" and having to say coward punching, like not even assault
      coward punching

It was a sickening trend in the USA a few years ago too. One numbskull put an elderly man in the hospital with a brain injury--luckily the poor man didn't die or the idiot would have been up on actual murder charges. As it was he still went to prison-and, yes, the main evidence against him was his own video showing him attacking the man. He gave an embarrassingly stupid "apology" in court at his sentencing. I thought this beyond-disgusting trend had died out but maybe this particular idiot didn't get the memo.

Humans are resilient yet delicate at the same time. A hit in the right spot or a tumble the wrong way can have horrible consequences. I'm glad that's a law there at least.

It’s disgusting, I was a witness many years ago to a one punch murder! It’s horrendous.

Obviously, this POS deserves serious jail time, but I'm glad that Texas is also prosecuting his friend who shot the video. Without an audience there would be much less incentive to show off for the camera.

sane and normal people don’t need to be told to NOT HIT PEOPLE unprovoked. He should go to jail, what a coward.

      H. I get that but angry, but is he insane & not normal or just a coward? I don't think not being normal is criminal-its the assaulting part. I will say the violence we see in the news daily may be desensitizing kids.

@@carmensaify I understand what you are saying. My feeling is, if he is insane then he is a danger in any case. But a “prank”, I believe, is a failure in parenting. Which brings up a whole lot of social issues. I am over “influencers” or whatever you want to call them (they certainly don’t influence me) . It seems these days young people are not required to actually grow up and accept responsibility for their behaviors. The fact that they can somehow make money off their behaviors is just disgusting.

I hope he and his friend get the highest level of punishment. The only reason he regrets this is because he got caught

I'm sure they just called it a "prank" so people wouldn't think they were serious.
