@@RichardE221 after the US Open, hard to argue against it. Nearly won Evian and 2 wins.
@@alexsamain812 Nelly won 5 in a row, a major and 6 wins for the year. She had one of the best seasons in golf history.
@@lkae4I'm aware, Nelly wins MVP of the 2024 season no doubt , but LC has played better golf since the US Open, better than anyone on tour.
I.e on the PGA tour, you can say Scottie has been the MVP of the 2024 season but Xander is playing like the best in the world right now, even though he is not ranked #1. Golf is about streaks.
@@alexsamain812 Xander got 2 majors so he has a very strong case for best right now. LG might be the hottest female golfer in the world but that is different from best golfer. If she gets another major next year and Nelly doesn't, I would consider her case. But now is too soon. If Nelly gets another major and 5 wins next year, there will be no debate.
