Hi Rachel, i hope you are having a good day. I feel I know you from reading your live comments on Persolaise Lives. I only watch them later because I'm in Australia. I am new to Dries Van Noten because it has only launched here recently. It has honestly been a pleasant surprise. Really like a few of them, but have already purchased Rock the Myrrh and have a couple more on the wish list including Soie Malaquie
Since I live in South Texas, it is still 90s degrees 😅. Our Dillards is upgrading its fragrance section. The Diptyque counter opened this week, so I will stop by to sniff Orpheon and La Papier. The DVN and Guerlain's one sounds fantastic-great list, and some that I plan to sample. I am going to Houston in 2wks; hopefully, I can stop by the Galleria to sniff some stuff😂😂❤🎉
Oh, yes to Chamomille Satin 🧡 I think the sillage is stronger than it may seem. I showed my sister the bottles I had with me while travelling back home and she said while sniffing Chamomille Satin: "This smells like you!" And I only wore it once before in her company 😄
Great picks as usual I just broke out my Kelly caleche and ELDO like this. But mostly thank you for introducing me to coastal carolina scents they are donating procceds to hrlp w hurricane Helene impact and would have never known about the house if it wasn't for the perfume nest❤
All of your October picks sound lovely! Even if I don't know how some of them smell you describe them in a way I can almost know they are a safe blind buy. I ordered the Kate Spade and can't wait to get it! Thank you so much for sharing with us and have a great upcoming week!!
Hey there!!!! Oh gosh no safe blind buys ever right??!!🤣But if you like peony mixed with a black currant/ blueberry pie it’s hard to be upset with a 30$ price tag!!❤️❤️
Finally! Thank you for reviewing a Harlem Perfume. I love their frags are named after historic Harlem Renaissance, Black artists. The scents are great. My favorite is Billie and I was thinking of getting my husband Duke for Christmas.
Hey, Chris! Yeah, I got a sample of Patchouli Paris in an order for the new Shalimar Millesime and I fell for it. I'm not even a professed patch lover but I really want Patchouli Paris now! I'm curious about Santal Volcanique now that you love it. I avoided it because of the coffee note, but now I want to try it. I really want L'eau Papier, too. I was in Sephora and tried the new Glossier You Reve yesterday, and I bought it. I tried and like the Doux, too, but Reve reminded me more of cooler weather and has a lovely buttercreme note. It will be a casual fragrance for me.
Oh thx so much for the fun feedback!!! I do not smell coffee in Santal Volcanique. And I’m heading over to Sephora this afternoon. I’ve been meaning to try the new releases. Hopefully they will be at my little Sephora

Harlem perfume...A house I have to try. I am a native New Yorker. What a great line up... Happy October. 🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂.
Hey there!! I loved your comment! I feel like I know you. 🥰Well you can probably find Patchouli Paris at a Guerlain counter somewhere or many places in the Big D! Do you like orange blossom and a touch of warm sesame? If so…you must sample Desert Suave. It could be a huge hit! NM has a big Liquides Imaginaires counter and I just picked up a new one when I was there recently that was barely on my radar but I enjoyed it. Happy October to you!!!❤️❤️
@@ThePerfumeNest aaaaaw!! You are the best! I feel like we are friends. 💕💕💕. I appreciate your channel, your reviews and I see the fun but also the hard work that you put into this great content. To think at the beginning of my fragrance journey I thought 30 would be enough. Too funny. At 55 fragrances … Curating loves and following your lead. Thanks so much! 🥰🥰🥰
I purchased Sparkle off of this recommendation and it’s an absolute win for me. It even got a compliment from my 9 year old son who is my biggest fragrance critic.

Thanks Chris! That new Dries VN is calling my name, so on the list it goes. I do weekly tray, so I am looking forward to wearing Hypnotizing Fire, Ambrosia Imperiale, Oriental Enigma, Creed Carmina, Santal Tislit .For the rest of the month I’ll be enjoying my new buys: Silk Santal, Blonde Refhead, Pistachio Haiku. Have a great Sunday!
Hi Chris ♥♥♥ it is hard to believe indeed how quickly this year passed, I feel I went on another timeline for a few months 🙈 You look stunning and it's such a joy to watch your videos 🤗
Looove these videos, Chris. L'Eau Papier was so good in september for me, and Red from Sora Dora is sooo good, especially on a rainy day ❤️ I don't know if you have tried Glow from akro, but it's such a beautiful ambery vanilla, slightly peppery💕
Oh you will enjoy! There are only 2 I don’t care for. I’ve worn Lakme a few times last week, gosh I feel very elegant. They also carry travel sizes as well
Yes it wasn’t a love for me on first wearing because I tried it in the middle of Summer last year. Which is the only time I wouldn’t wear it. It’s great all other seasons.
Your October fragrance tray looks absolutely lovely👌👌. NY Sparkle is such a beauty and I was also surprised as to how much I love L’eau Papier😍😍. Patchouli Paris sounds quite appealing🤔🤔. Stay gorgeous 🥰🥰
Did you get Babycat in the States? I love love it. I have such great sentimental memories associated with it, but it has to be a bit cooler for m to wear it.
Knowing your taste, I think you might really like Ylop. It’s much less gourmand than I had expected (more like feared 😂), it’s a beautiful tea fragrance with a touch of gourmand. It’s my zen scent! It’s extremely calming to me. Would be perfect for work.
Here in Aus we are heading into the summer heat and I'm about to test Tilia by Marc-Antoine Barrois which is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance. Top notes are Lime (Linden) Blossom, Jasmine Sambac and Broom; middle notes are Heliotrope, Vetiver and Orange Blossom; base notes are Ambrofix™ and Georgywood. I'm interested in the Naked Dance by Oddity now too for the fall transition 😁
I have chamomile satin on the way to me as we speak and cannot wait! I blew through my decant of it and would completely echo your description of it. A lavender and chamomile with a ton of vanilla, very sophisticated and exuding luxury.
Oohh, Langston sounds delicious! My hubby loves warm apple scent and I am looking for the perfect scent that has a “nod” to apple pie without being too literal. I might have to try a sample! Thanks for the recommendation! 😊
Hi Chris! Now that you have also given your seal of approval for Kate Spade’s Sparkle, I am going to try a bottle. Another reviewer I enjoy also mentioned it as a hit a few months back. Oooh Patchouli Paris sounds intriguing. Thank you for the new dries Van noten scent reviews coming up. Can’t wait to watch that video! I was so excited when I saw that you were reviewing Red by Sora Dora. I’ve been wanting that one solely based on other’s reviews and now with your review I want to try it even more! Tortilla chip? lol. Since I live in Puerto Rico and it’s still stifling hot here, I am still wearing fresher hot weather scents for October. I’ve been into Diptyque’s Fleur De Peau and Ilio lately. Both great for the heat. In Nov when it finally cools down I plan to break out my Cristallo do Rocca by Omnia. Yum! Bye for now!!
Hi there! Thank you for stopping by!! I can see how others would enjoy Sparkle!!! What a lovely fun surprise ! I haven’t heard anyone else talk about Red so I’m intrigued if they get the same roller coaster experience as I do! 😂❤️
Looking forward to wearing my decant of Amouage Guidance. I’m starting to fall in love with it this Fall. Also looking forward to wearing Jest and Pavilion from Andrea Maack, Lamar from Kajal, and Gris Charnel.
One day I'll get round to filming a video again 😂 but currently loving Vanille Camouflage. Camomile Satin didn't work for me at all. It came off like medicated plasters and scratchy musk, but it had a lovely sweetnes which i wish was more prominent. Vanilla Camouflage however was right up my street. It's very green dry grassy in the opening but love it's vanilla transition. Enjoyed hearing all your October favourite 👌
Hey Lizzy! Thanks for stopping by! I can see how the opening of Chamomile Satin won’t be for everyone but the dry down had the most beautiful vanilla. And I thought Vanilla Camouflage was lovely ,esp after the really overly green opening. 😁
That Patchouli Paris is the best I've smelled. Just a winner all around. I smelled it at the NM here in Houston a few weeks ago and I kept the card. It was still lingering 8 days later. Unbelievable! I've got this on my list as my birthday gift in November. Making myself wait (and save my coins!)
You're a brave one! I can't drive on Houston highways, anymore. I will NOT drive on I-35 in Austin anymore...but at least they have two north-south alternatives still.
Funny I also picked up a decant of Essentric 01 & a bottle of Sparkle this month-what a great cheapie💙 I am curious about the new DVN fragrance! Happy Sunday❣️
At 6:23 You can see if the Roja passes your "Picky" (enter name here) Mother's test. 😉 I've forgotten her name, Sorry. Have a good time with your family ❤
Hi yes!!! Picky Laurie!!!! ❤️❤️lol! She’s good with most things except coconut and vanilla! It passed the test but I didn’t go to town spraying though. I could sure smell myself all day. And thank you sooooo much. Very sweet comment.
Where did you get the Satin? Neiman's? I tried to get it at flagship Saks, and I was told by the SA that it won't be in until January. I'm tempted to blind buy this, but I'm scared. Fall/Winter are not my favorite seasons, but I do like the perfume options. In NY right now, I'm breaking out Mercurial Cashmere, Iris Malikhan (my ride or die), Erba Pura Gold (on a 75 degree day), then I'll start moving into the heaviers, Jest by Andrea Maack (picked it up the week it was released in March - and I knew I loved it), Goldfield & Banks Silky Woods, Gris Charnel (of course), Ambar Domenicano (Day Three) and L'Artisan Perfumer L'A Oud (fabulous and noone talks about it). I'm waiting until Fifty-Four by Jusbox gets to the States which should be soon. I just got Silk Santal (broke the Internet), and it's pleasant, but it's not a love. A wear, but not a love. And, of course, Bianco Latte. Finally, a Memo noone talks about but was released last year - Cappadocia (I bought it because the location is part of my ancestral home, but in reality, it's a great saffron).
Hey there!!! Wow what a lovely comment. I was devastated after risking life and limb on Houston highways for 40 minutes and walking to Saks (Galleria, like all of Texas is huge) they didn’t have the bottles out. But thankfully I asked the gal behind the counter, she dug around and found ONE sample of it. She was kind enough to spritz me and by the time I got back home that night (or back to my parents house) I ordered a bottle on the DVN site because I knew I could order 2 samples for free with my order. Wait until January. Do not blind buy. You might even enjoy Vanille Camouflage more than Satin! It has a gorgeous “Guerlain esque” vanilla. I wasn’t super keen on the others
I love black currant too! Have you tried or reviewed L'Ombre Dan Leau? Was a long ti.e favorite many years ago that I just started wearing again. I wore Michelle Pfeiffers torn a lot in September just refreshing, light but long lasting. Good in the transitional weather of NJ. Also surprised with how much I liked baccarat extract this month too!
Yes I used to have L’Ombre years ago. I’m a big fan of Henry Rose. It’s really hard for completely cleanly formulated fragrances to last an eternity because they don’t add all the junk to make perfumes strong, I find that a universal commonality in almost all truly cleanly formulated brands and for that I don’t mind at all. It comes with the territory. ❤️B540 in all of its forms are loves for me
Thank you for another great video. I will definitely be checking out Patchouli Paris as I am in the midst of searching for my go-to patchouli fragrance. I used to love wearing Gucci by Gucci EDP, which unfortunately has been discontinued. Perhaps I may suggest a patchouli-oriented video (a bit selfish of me 😉). My autumn tray will consist of: • Work: Iris by Maison Crivelli • Everyday errands: Autumn Vibes by Maison Margiela • Home: To calm down and relax - Bois d’Iris by Van Cleef & Arpels • Evening: Going out with husband : Bosca Vanilla by Guerlain( easy and inoffensive) or Oriana by PDM if with my girlfriends Cannot wait for the Dries Van Noten video! Greetings from UK, Bea
He’s Bea!!! I love your fragrance categories and your reasoning. I love that you have errand fragrances!!! I do also! ❤️❤️ soooo cute. Thank you SO much for sharing with us!!🙏🏻❤️❤️
Aww Chris, let Picky Pat have a little spray of your new Patchouli perfume. We have recently been able to get Dries Van Noten perfumes here in Australia. I’m putting off getting the discovery set until I’ve got through the remaining sets still in the cupboard😬. Have a great week 😃🇦🇺
Can you please make a sandalwood video? You have a beautiful collection of sandalwood. I’m looking for my perfect sandalwood scent. Mon Ami was a great recommendation in one of your videos but the screechy opening I can’t live with… Such a gorgeous sandalwood though!!! Thank you so much.
@@ThePerfumeNest YES! Thank you! So excited to try! Can you also address the “pickle” note people experience? And if you do too. I certainly can detect the pickle note which is very annoying 😁 Though I’m wondering if that’s related where the sandalwood is sourced from 🤷♀️ Mon Ami doesn’t smell like pickles 🙂 It does, in fact, smells like ‘not the cheap kind’ 😁💯
You've inspired me to revisit my Kate Spade NY Sparkle! I am pulling for both l'interdit intense and rouge, kayali lovefest burning cherry, gallegher rose all dae, and chloe nomade which is a fall floral for me.
Oh you have it?? You don’t like it? What was it? I’m just curious…often times I can guess what will turn ppl off to something. But I find it a crazy easy perfume to love, esp for 30$.
Omg I just bought Red like 2 weeks ago, again no one talks about it. It does take you on a journey. I get a lot of hazelnut in the opening and the sandalwood in the drydown.
If it’s a long drive call ahead. The Houston Saks had only a small sample behind the counter because the large bottles hadn’t come in yet. But if you are in a big city it probably does. My local Saks doesn’t have a DVN counter
Love your picks! Great content and I agree with you about Desert Suave. I have been wearing it this week and adore it. I've ordered Patchouli Paris, as I'm a patchouli lover, and now can't wait to wear it. I'm going to order the Kate Spade scent because I love Louise Turner. Agree about Santal Volcanique..such a lovely spicy sandalwood. I recently received Orpheon by Diptyque, and have been enjoying it; also, received Aoud Extraordinaire by Roja Dove. I'm very interested in Lost in Paris by Roja, but the price right now is prohibitive. I'll wait. Going to check out Langston, as I've never cared for Angel's Share. Again, love your taste!
Oh my gosh you have Aoud Extraordinaire? Wow. Yes it’s incredibly beautiful. My instinct is to baby it but I don’t want it to gather dust. Langston is very close to AS so you may not enjoy it. But I love that the website offers sample sizes so we can try first. Shockingly Picky Pat thought it smelled nice. 😮🤣
@@ThePerfumeNest Although the price is quite high, this fragrance is a gem. I've been reluctant with some of Roja Dove's ouds, because they seemed like heavy ouds and too middle eastern leaning. This is a very clean, western oud. It's an uplifting, sparkly fruity floral with a creamy, cashmere-like feeling. It smells so luxurious and is the most sophisticated fruity floral I own. I always get compliments when I wear it and it makes me feel like a million bucks. It is truly a beautiful fragrance and I don't for a minute regret buying it. As it dries
Really interested in trying Santal Volcanique! I always find out about one or two to try in each of your videos. 🙂 I wish the Neimans in Charlotte carried Guerlain. 😫
Hi, Chris! Everything sounds so lovely. I am currently enjoying my ambery vanilla perfumes. I am so interested in the new Guerlain Patchouli they launched! If you like it, I am sure I will too. 🤍
I smelled the Guerlain Patchouli fragrance at a Guerlain boutique and I agree with everything you said. At first, I just smelled patchouli, after a while it became sweeter and softer. I really like it and would be happy to wear it in colder weather, unfortunately, it's out of my budget. :(
Hi Chris, another wonderful video! I love you mentioned Desert Suave, been waiting for you to mention it and what you think of it! Can I ask what you think of Guerlain L’Homme ideal EDP vs Cherry Punk from Room 1015? I know Cherry punk is much sweeter but are they of similar notes, leather and Cherry. Wonder what your thoughts on it. Love your lipstick color with the color of your blouse!
Oh my goodness!!! Not the Diaghilev! 😮😂❤️❤️❤️yep. I agree 💯🙌. I’ve already worn it twice since filming this video. Which is 200% more than I had worn it in the two years prior. 😆😆😆😆😆
“Picky Pat” is taking me out.😅 I recently sniffed a tester of Guerlain’s Patchouli Ardent (from their Les Absolus collection) at the airport and immediately had to have a bottle. Will look out for a counter that sells the L’Art & La Matière collection to try the Patchouli Paris.
@@ThePerfumeNest thank you so much for that! I've been back and forth between blind buying that one vs Sur Ma Peau. I think I'll go with Sur Ma Peau! My twin loves it so I probably will too!
Hey there! Oh they are soooo different. PP has more vanilla and the patchouli is much tamer in the dry down and has more of a chocolatey feel. It’s gourmand leaning for sure. Alexandrite has a lot more fresh and green nuances.
Hello! I'd love your advice on finding something similar to Patchouli Paris. I'm not a patchouli fan but I received a sample of this and I'm obsessed!! The only problem is I can't possibly afford it. Does it remind you of anything? Thank you!!
Hey Chris! Yep that Kate Spade is a winner; might pull it out despite it being hotter than hell 🔥🥵🤬 here. I have a 5ml of Red I have not tested yet - need to do that! Naked Dance caught my attention; I do like the unusual stuff 🤔🤩 My SOTD is J-Scent Roasted Green Tea 🍃🍵and it might be my new favorite tea scent *ever*…has interesting pseudo savory notes of peanut and mint.
Do you live near a NM? Like I said in the video, I risked life and limb while in Houston for the sound purpose of testing Patchouli Paris, Zouzou and some DvN perfumes because my local selection stinks. It used to be great before COVID . Houston however has just about everything: so you must go try in person. I know some ppl who don’t like patchouli that love PP….but that doesn’t mean everyone will. Everyone who does love patchouli will love PP. 😉
Girl, You had my full attention on that Chamomile Satin, I love the smell of lavender, chamomile , and basil in my garden. But the thought of driving to the Galleria 🙃ugh. Then I saw the price and realize I'm gonna have to put my big girl britches and plan a little field trip. I want to get a sniff of crazy basil, vanille camoflage, and chamomile satin. I look forward to your review of the Dries Van Noten house. In the meantime, I shall be looking for a discovery set and a perfume fairy. 🤣😂Enjoyed your video. Always informative and entertaining. You had me laughing when you were talking about Red.
Hey Erika! The FBs keep getting delayed there at the Galleria so call first. I was so lucky the SA found ONE sample behind the counter and she was so nice to spritz me with it. First the new ones were supposed to arrive September now it’s been delayed again apparently. I do hope they come up with a new discovery set with the edts and the new EDPs…..😆That Red one is so funny but crazy addictive. 😄
@ThePerfumeNest Chris. I went Cheesecake Factory this afternoon at the Galleria and had lunch with my daughter. I tiptoed over to Neiman Marcus to check out Dries. No luck. I went through 4 SA before I found one who knew what I was talking about. I'm hoping they make a discovery set.
@@erika71classic oh yes the Dries Counter is at Saks. You have to tip toe to the other side of the mall. 😆But the Guerlain counter is there at NM. They actually had Vanille Planifolia 21 on the floor! But I had a friend who stopped by Saks last week and the new release full bottles at Dries apparently are delayed again. I was so lucky they had a sample when I went! I’m sure it’s long gone by now
@@ThePerfumeNest 😆😅🤣 but ,of course,I was at the wrong store. My daughter going to love this. She asked me if I was sure Neiman"s was the correct store.
I am sooooo guilty of “saving” my prized scents. So much so that they have died (even though stored properly) and are no longer produced. I hate that 😢
The reason I chose that particular one is at one spray, no one can smell me. I agree like I say in the video, smelling like fresh clean clothes or fresh out of the shower I think is nice. I would never spray something heavy or more than one or two spritzes. I basically smell like fresh laundered clothes. 😉
I’d love to hear what you are planning on wearing for October!

Oh wow nice!! I have Santal Tislit headed my way!! Your choices are amazing!!!
Hi Chris ♥♥♥ it is hard to believe indeed how quickly this year passed, I feel I went on another timeline for a few months 🙈 You look stunning and it's such a joy to watch your videos 🤗
Hey sweetie! Thank you so much! It was almost a year ago we did our collab!!! ❤️❤️❤️🥰
@@ThePerfumeNest My favorite ever ❤❤❤🥰 I am smiling now remembering it 💞 Thank you so much!
Looove these videos, Chris. L'Eau Papier was so good in september for me, and Red from Sora Dora is sooo good, especially on a rainy day ❤️ I don't know if you have tried Glow from akro, but it's such a beautiful ambery vanilla, slightly peppery💕
Hi there! Yes Glow is on my list to try!!
Because of you I ordered Dries Van Noten's sample set! I love Roja's Lakme, it is on my to-buy list! Thank you!
Oh you will enjoy! There are only 2 I don’t care for. I’ve worn Lakme a few times last week, gosh I feel very elegant. They also carry travel sizes as well
I will be wearing Paper+, Santal dan Sha, Tempfluo and Eau Duelle EdT a lot this month ❤
Oh some of my favs right there!!
Great selection Chris. 🙏🏽🙌🏽🔥🔥🔥
Thank you gorgeous!!
When you mentioned Desert Suave, I went through my stash to sniff my sample. It smells so good, I need to give it a full wear this week.
Yes it wasn’t a love for me on first wearing because I tried it in the middle of Summer last year. Which is the only time I wouldn’t wear it. It’s great all other seasons.
@@ThePerfumeNest good to know 👍🏽. I live in Florida, still warm here 😂 but I am staying home and AC is on!
Oh do you have New York Sparkle??
@@ThePerfumeNest
I had a mini but gave it to my niece so I need a big bottle😂😂. I love it more than the OG😍😍
Same!
I got a decant of Chamomile Satin and absolutely love it!
Yes right?! I’m glad you tried first.
Stash, Cherry Punk, Khamrah Qahwa, and of course, Dolce Amalfi 🥰
Oh nice!!!!
Yes to Cherry Punk. I have a big list right now but boy I want the Extrait. I've tested it multiple times and I like it better.
@@kuklakid I haven’t tried the extrait… but I think I might have to get a sample ☺️
Chris, I need to sample Patchouli Paris and Red 💛 I finally gave in and ordered Babycat, can’t wait to wear it 😊
Aw Babycat! My love!
I bet I would!!!! I’m in no rush as I’m enjoying Red. But I will def get around to it. ❤️❤️I’m so glad you enjoy it
Here in Aus we are heading into the summer heat and I'm about to test Tilia by Marc-Antoine Barrois which is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance.
Oh hi there!!! Yes I think Tilia is gorgeous!!!
I have chamomile satin on the way to me as we speak and cannot wait! I blew through my decant of it and would completely echo your description of it. A lavender and chamomile with a ton of vanilla, very sophisticated and exuding luxury.
Oh how exciting! And I’m glad our noses experience the same loveliness!!
Great list! So many different things. Thats new DVN looks amazing and sounds 👌 ❤
Their other vanilla is great also (once the really green opening subsides). But do not blind buy. They are not safe
Oohh, Langston sounds delicious! My hubby loves warm apple scent and I am looking for the perfect scent that has a “nod” to apple pie without being too literal. I might have to try a sample! Thanks for the recommendation! 😊
You bet! I wore it last night and Picky Pat even liked it! 😄❤️
Oh yes! I wore Lamar yesterday. Sooo gorgeous.
I love Patchouli Paris too! The only patchouli-centered fragrance I can wear so far.
That is amazing! I have heard that from so many patch “haters” why do you think you like it?
I think the iris and vanilla tone down the patch
I'm absolutely in love with Camomile Satin!!
Oh soooo pretty!
Right??!! Same! Oh my gosh we must have just missed each other in NM !! I also got to smell Vanilla Planifolia. Oh my …..
@@ThePerfumeNestI have Vanilla Planifolia 21 and hands down it is my favorite frag!! Anytime I put it on, I instantly feel happy!! So so good!!!
I agree. It might be the best thing I’ve ever smelled
You always give the best affordable hidden gems!
w yay thank you!!!🙏🏻
I freaking LOVE Sora Dora Red! I need a full size asap for autumn/winter! Yum!
I’m soooo glad to hear that! Literally it gets zero exposure and I think it’s soooo fun!
I’d love to switch to my fall perfumes but it’s still 100 degrees here!
Here too😢
Oh my gosh!
You're a brave one! I can't drive on Houston highways, anymore. I will NOT drive on I-35 in Austin anymore...but at least they have two north-south alternatives still.
Yes I know . I avoid rush hour if at all possible. Last trip up there actually wasn’t that bad!
After watching this video I immediately wnt to Jomashop and order No 9 Peace....oh my I love this!!! Thank you for another winner!
Yay!!!! That’s how I felt! LAFS!!🙌❤️❤️❤️Thx for the follow up! 🙏🏻❤️
Enjoy your month of wearing that fabulous Roja! I like Langston also, purchased several samples from them.
Hey Stephanie!!! Do you like it better than AS?
@@ThePerfumeNest I've actually never smelled AS.
Well it’s very similar to Langston. If you enjoy one you will almost certainly enjoy the other. ❤️
Also, Bouquet Ideale from Casamorati will be one I will pull a lot in october ❤️
Oh yes! You must live somewhere where it gets colder
Funny I also picked up a decant of Essentric 01 & a bottle of Sparkle this month-what a great cheapie💙
I am curious about the new DVN fragrance! Happy Sunday❣️
Did you really? Oh my gosh what a cute coincidence!!! Where did you get your decant of Sparkle?
I’ve been enjoying Lattafa’s Nebras, Mon Guerlain & Beige by Chanel so far this month:)
All great ones!❤️
Have you smelled Diptyque’s Papier candle? It takes the best part of the fragrance, the steamed rice/sesame accord, and amplifies it. So good!
Oh my gosh I haven’t! But looks like I need to!
❤️B540 in all of its forms are loves for me
L’eau papier is a year round scent to me :) it’s great! Love it, but can’t wear it more than 3-4 days in a row
It’s so pretty but yes I’m with you. I need to mix things up also.
So fun! Love it!!!
Thank you!!🙏🏻
Thank you for another great video.
My autumn tray will consist of:
• Work: Iris by Maison Crivelli
• Everyday errands: Autumn Vibes by Maison Margiela
• Home: To calm down and relax - Bois d’Iris by Van Cleef & Arpels
• Evening: Going out with husband : Bosca Vanilla by Guerlain( easy and inoffensive) or Oriana by PDM if with my girlfriends
Cannot wait for the Dries Van Noten video! Greetings from UK, Bea
He’s Bea!!! I love your fragrance categories and your reasoning. I love that you have errand fragrances!!! I do also! ❤️❤️ soooo cute. Thank you SO much for sharing with us!!🙏🏻❤️❤️
@@ThePerfumeNest thank you Chris, forgot to mention that Iris by MC makes me feel ever so confident!

Yes!! Will do!!❤️
@@ThePerfumeNest YES!
Welp… I haven’t yet touched this week’s tray. Yesterday I wore my sample of Île Poupre and this morning it’s my sample of Desert Suave! ❤
I know the feeling!! 😂 I have to be disciplined otherwise I’m just sampling new things. But I want to slow down on that and appreciate what I have. ❤️

Hi Chris, happy Sunday. I latelly re-discovered Cavalli fragrances. Just Cavalli is so amazing and long lasting scent.
I think I remember that one????
@@ThePerfumeNest it's so good and complex.
@ThePerfumeNest i think my nose finds the black current a little sharp...I had the same reaction with Lalique Amythest.
Naked Dance! I love it, and thank you so much for introducing it to me! I'm going to wear it this week.
Yay! I think it will be great in the Texas heat…nice and dusty.
Omg I just bought Red like 2 weeks ago, again no one talks about it. It does take you on a journey. I get a lot of hazelnut in the opening and the sandalwood in the drydown.
I know right??!! I personally love it!!!🙌🙌❤️❤️
Chamomile satin sounds lovely to me. I wonder if my saks has it
If it’s a long drive call ahead. The Houston Saks had only a small sample behind the counter because the large bottles hadn’t come in yet. But if you are in a big city it probably does. My local Saks doesn’t have a DVN counter
Happy Sunday Chris Great Video Lovely October Tray🤩🫶🏾💚
Thank you sweetie!
As it dries
Chris thanks for amazing work and description ❤… I would love to try chamomile satin … 😅… big kiss dear
Oh hey!! Can’t wait for you to start posting again!
Really interested in trying Santal Volcanique! I always find out about one or two to try in each of your videos. 🙂 I wish the Neimans in Charlotte carried Guerlain. 😫
My Neiman’s used to have a HUGE perfume dept….but since Covid it’s been terrible. 😞
Hi, Chris! Everything sounds so lovely. I am currently enjoying my ambery vanilla perfumes. I am so interested in the new Guerlain Patchouli they launched! If you like it, I am sure I will too. 🤍
Oh I love my ambery vanillas!!!
Going to re test my sample of desert suave!! Let’s see what I smell..
Well…what happened??!! 🤣Make sure you wait for the dry down. ❤️❤️
I smelled the Guerlain Patchouli fragrance at a Guerlain boutique and I agree with everything you said. At first, I just smelled patchouli, after a while it became sweeter and softer. I really like it and would be happy to wear it in colder weather, unfortunately, it's out of my budget. :(
Yes those Guerlain fragrances are so expensive but I hear they are now carrying travel sizes!
Thank you so much! I don’t own a bottle of L’Homme Ideal EDp but I think I have a sample somewhere! I need to find it. 🤦♀️😬
Chris, please remind me. Do you, or have you tried or owned Ambre Narguille?
Yes! A tiny bottle years ago. It’s heaven!
I too, used to baby my fragrances. Then, one day my beautiful Goldendoodle dropped and broke my Roja Diaghilev 🤦🏽♂️. Now i spray away !
Oh my goodness!!! Not the Diaghilev! 😮😂❤️❤️❤️yep. I agree 💯🙌. I’ve already worn it twice since filming this video. Which is 200% more than I had worn it in the two years prior. 😆😆😆😆😆
Chris did you like Bitter Splash? I'm dying to try that one!
Not as much as the vanilla ones
Chris, have you smelled the new Hermes fragrance? I think it’s called Barenia. I’m curious what it smells like.
I’ve been meaning to for a few months! I will! ❤️❤️
Oh looks like I need to sniff Patchouli Ardent!!
You look so beautiful ❤
Aw!!!!🙏🏻😢❤️❤️❤️🥹Hope all is well!!
Chris did you l get to try Bitter Splash? I'm dying to try that one!
I did!!! It’s nice but not FB worthy. I liked Vanille Camouflage better. Once that really green opening fades it’s beautiful
@@ThePerfumeNest thank you so much for that! I've been back and forth between blind buying that one vs Sur Ma Peau. I think I'll go with Sur Ma Peau! My twin loves it so I probably will too!
Yes Sur Ma Peau is soooo lovely!
Hi Chris! 😊❤ How do you think patchouli Paris compares to EBK Alexandrite Patchouli?? Does PP lean masculine? Thanks friend! 😊
Hey there! Oh they are soooo different. PP has more vanilla and the patchouli is much tamer in the dry down and has more of a chocolatey feel. It’s gourmand leaning for sure. Alexandrite has a lot more fresh and green nuances.
@@ThePerfumeNest thank you! I might have to try PP!
Hello! I'd love your advice on finding something similar to Patchouli Paris. I'm not a patchouli fan but I received a sample of this and I'm obsessed!!
The only problem is I can't possibly afford it. Does it remind you of anything? Thank you!!
I know prices of this line is crazy. But Fragrances Line and Scents Event carries different sizes
@@ThePerfumeNest Thank you!
Yes I used to have a bottle of Roasted Green Tea!!! It’s soooo good!!
Would i still like the guerlain patchouli if i don’t normally like patchouli? Someone said it smelled like salty chocolate and i love salty chocolate
@@ThePerfumeNest ah ha… I see. I can’t wait to try it because sometimes I like patchouli but has to be done right. Thanks for the feedback.
@17:57 AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA😂😂😂😂😂😂

I hate that 😢
Yes!!! Right?! I def am turning a new leaf. I’ve been wearing my fancy pants frags these past two months. 😁
Congrats to not saving the fine china! Everydays special
Yes right!!??🙌💯
Perfume for the gym? Whyyyy? Please don’t! 🥴 think about the other people around you!
The reason I chose that particular one is at one spray, no one can smell me. I agree like I say in the video, smelling like fresh clean clothes or fresh out of the shower I think is nice. I would never spray something heavy or more than one or two spritzes. I basically smell like fresh laundered clothes. 😉
