Beautiful video. I’m loving going day to day spraying bouncing back and forth between my Fall worthy stuff and a lot of florals with vanilla. Those Penhaligon bottles are certainly display worthy! Last night I was at a Halloween party and I had layered a gourmand fragrance mist called cake, Philosophy Fresh Cream and Lataffa Hayaatim. I was sitting next to a fire ring for an extended period and oh my, on the way home wow, it smelled so good in my car. I decided to drive through Mammoth Cave Park so it was a slow drive (deer and turkeys) and the lights from the car shining on the leaves was fantastic. Hope your week is wonderful!🌹🥰🍁🐿️

Also I definitely associate hazelnut with autumn, and Amouage Guidance is the one I’m wearing today to keep the vibe, a very pricey vibe😂 Unfortunately, I can’t find anything decent and affordable that gives me the nice hazelnut scent like Guidance does, but one day I will find one. Hi Chris! Great selection!😍 I think you might like Santalum from Profumum Roma. To me it smells like a slightly sweet, unlit incense from a temple not a church (might be the myrrh). It's also spicy and woody. Not very sandalwood forward, as the name would suggest.

That’s why I never read reviews on Fragrantica. …” I haven’t tested it yet but from the notes I think it will be terrible”……”I only sprayed it on a blotter 20 minutes ago but it has zero longevity”…….”I only get alchohol and I know it’s a legit perfume because I got it on eBay…”🙌 🤣🤣 Just a few examples of some of the “reviews” on Fragrantica. 🤦♀️I also don’t want to be subliminally influenced either but I do recommend everyone else should def read lots of feedback. Someone said they smelled mothballs in one of my favorite florals and now I get mothballs also which I never did before. 🥲😮😉So it’s better for me to stay away.
I am surprised you never did a cherry review. I just smelled Cherry Ambition and now I am going to pick that up during the Sephora sale. I agree Honey Aoud is very likable for an oud. Speaking of oud, I am sampling Kotor by Memo Paris and I was worried about the oud, but I think I may be ordering this beauty. I see on Fragrantica it reminds people of Red by Sora Dora. So many good ones for fall. I'm obsessed with Cappadocia at the moment.
Hi Chris 😍, not really a fan of tea notes in fragrances , 2 popular blind buys that haven't become loves and attributing it to the note of tea , but , got a sample of Blue Madeline💘 and loved it , already a fb purchase , at 1st , felt it was very light wearing and over sprayed one day and realized it has the potential to be team 😂too much , personally feel it's the cade oil that is making some ppl dislike this fragrance but that's just my personal guess 😊

I live in the south where our fall weather is just barely getting chilly, so I'm still wearing transition frags. Today, I wore Chipmunk by Zoologist, a nutty & slightly chocolate scent. The fragrance I'm most looking forward to wearing is Irrévérent by History de parfumes, a coffee & oud scent that is very dark, but still comes off as cozy. Happy Halloween 🎃
I adore Praline in Maple! I wore it yesterday while hiking in the fall colours (I Live in Ontario Canada). it is the perfect spicey, cedar maple sweet and praline fragrance. I had 3 people comment on what I was wearing! great fall fragrance.

I've found a couple ouds I can hang with. Ameer Al Oud Intense by Lattafa is the easiest....also, not oud fragrances but you've got to try Athena by Maison Alhambra and Empire Victor by Khadlaj.
Fascinating because Blue Madeline smells like pure smoke to me. I should love all the notes, they’re all my favs, yet I only smell BBQ. One of my biggest disappointments. I keep trying it hoping it will change. I do love Lune Feline which pulls more bandaid than smokey on me, but for some reason it doesn’t last at all on me, which I’m really sad about, so I go with Vanilla Diorama as my smokey vanilla instead.

It’s been on my list to try for awhile and now I saw that it may be discontinued soon. I have never avoided fragrances with a sandalwood note but I’m not a fan of ones like Le Labo Santal 33. With news of Santal complet possibly being done forever, my fomo is kicking in 😅

Hey thank you!!! This was done with a plain ole curling iron. I just wrap it around the barrel! If I sleep on it the curls will be very loose the following day. But I usually wash my hair every day or at most every other day; if I go to an exercise class it gets washed. 😉❤️

Sirene was my SOTD today and I love it so much. I feel like it is a lovely year round scent. Not too sweet or cloying for warm weather but enough body to hold up in colder weather. It's a winner for me. ❤

Eleven in Roman numerals is XI...the "I" is capitalized, along with the "X". Xi is pronounced "chi" and refers to "energy" in Oriental medicine. I don't think the creator meant that to be a number, but refers to the energy coming from the fragrance...but that's me...since they didn't number ANY of their other fragrances
Here is my take as Chinese: Qi is pronounced “chi” and refers to “energy”. “Xi” is pronounced “she” but I’m not sure what it could mean here. I’m going to agree with Chris and pronounce it as Rima Eleven (the I in XI is actually capitalized on the bottle)😊

I am surprised you never did a cherry review. I just smelled Cherry Ambition and now I am going to pick that up during the Sephora sale. I agree Honey Aoud is very likable for an oud. Speaking of oud, I am sampling Kotor by Memo Paris and I was worried about the oud, but I think I may be ordering this beauty. I see on Fragrantica it reminds people of Red by Sora Dora. So many good ones for fall. I'm obsessed with Cappadocia at the moment.

Hi Chris 😍, not really a fan of tea notes in fragrances , 2 popular blind buys that haven't become loves and attributing it to the note of tea , but , got a sample of Blue Madeline💘 and loved it , already a fb purchase , at 1st , felt it was very light wearing and over sprayed one day and realized it has the potential to be team 😂too much , personally feel it's the cade oil that is making some ppl dislike this fragrance but that's just my personal guess 😊

I live in the south where our fall weather is just barely getting chilly, so I'm still wearing transition frags. Today, I wore Chipmunk by Zoologist, a nutty & slightly chocolate scent. The fragrance I'm most looking forward to wearing is Irrévérent by History de parfumes, a coffee & oud scent that is very dark, but still comes off as cozy. Happy Halloween 🎃

I adore Praline in Maple! I wore it yesterday while hiking in the fall colours (I Live in Ontario Canada). it is the perfect spicey, cedar maple sweet and praline fragrance. I had 3 people comment on what I was wearing! great fall fragrance.

I’ve been wearing replica autumn vibes to the office. At home I go for cozy gourmand with eos cashmere vanilla lotion and apple brandy on the rocks combo. If I want to leave the house with a heavy hitter I go Atlas Fever, Althair or Lush’s Lord of Misrule!

I've found a couple ouds I can hang with. Ameer Al Oud Intense by Lattafa is the easiest....also, not oud fragrances but you've got to try Athena by Maison Alhambra and Empire Victor by Khadlaj.

Fascinating because Blue Madeline smells like pure smoke to me. I should love all the notes, they’re all my favs, yet I only smell BBQ. One of my biggest disappointments. I keep trying it hoping it will change. I do love Lune Feline which pulls more bandaid than smokey on me, but for some reason it doesn’t last at all on me, which I’m really sad about, so I go with Vanilla Diorama as my smokey vanilla instead.
BBQ? Oh my gosh. Ok. I can see how that would be a big “no”. I have smelled BBQ-y perfumes and they make me ill. Sooo glad it doesn’t pull that way on me! 🙏🏻❤️Thx for the feedback!!

Hey Chris! Great video. You seem to really enjoy sandalwood, do you have, or have you tried Santal Complet by Fragrance Du Bois? It’s been on my list to try for awhile and now I saw that it may be discontinued soon. I have never avoided fragrances with a sandalwood note but I’m not a fan of ones like Le Labo Santal 33. With news of Santal complet possibly being done forever, my fomo is kicking in 😅

Hey thank you!!! This was done with a plain ole curling iron. I just wrap it around the barrel! If I sleep on it the curls will be very loose the following day. But I usually wash my hair every day or at most every other day; if I go to an exercise class it gets washed. 😉❤️

Sirene was my SOTD today and I love it so much. I feel like it is a lovely year round scent. Not too sweet or cloying for warm weather but enough body to hold up in colder weather.

Eleven in Roman numerals is XI...the "I" is capitalized, along with the "X".
Xi is pronounced "chi" and refers to "energy" in Oriental medicine.
I don't think the creator meant that to be a number, but refers to the energy coming from the fragrance...but that's me...since they didn't number ANY of their other fragrances
Here is my take as Chinese: Qi is pronounced “chi” and refers to “energy”. “Xi” is pronounced “she” but I’m not sure what it could mean here. I’m going to agree with Chris and pronounce it as Rima Eleven (the I in XI is actually capitalized on the bottle)😊
It was a typo on the screen of the video but it’s correct in the Description box. It’s is supposed to be Roman Numerals for 11. It was meant to be a number because it referred to line 11 in a certain poem…..😉❤️
