- Hey guys welcome to another video where this time I want to go over the absolute worst GAME OVERS in every single Nintendo franchise. This was alot of fun to make and Id love to hear your suggestions for future videos in the comments below! Oh yeah please, like and subscribe as well!!!

There is one Game Over that you skipped over when doing Metroid. In the 3rd installment of the Prime series: Corruption, if you don't empty your hyper tank in time, Samus will be corrupted completely and the game ends, with an extra message saying "Terminal Corruption". It's by far the scariest of the Game Over screens ever made.

@@SonicUni1997 Yeah what he should've mentioned was in HeartGold and SoulSilver that there is a gym leader hard to beat called Whitney and she uses Normal type Pokemon which is only weak to Fighting which is limited at that point in the game and her ace Miltank has two difficult moves called milk drink and attract Miltank is a female and you're strongest Pokemon to that point is your starter Pokemon which is very likely to be male and she has a lum berry for status conditions which if you try to paralyze it the lum berry will heal it up from the status condition I tried that fight and lost so many times I really wanted to rage quit but was able to beat it.
About Pokemon, you sorta die in Pokemon Legends Arceus. While you don't blackout/whiteout in that game for getting your party wiped like in other mainline Pokemon games, you instead black-out when you, your Trainer, takes fatal damage, which, when you're 1 hit away from "dying", you can clearly see blood bordering the screen, and when you take that fatal hit, the game has your Trainer avatar collapse, and then the message "everything went lack" displays on screen, and, if you "died" to anything not in a "Lord's" battle against you for to quell their frenzy, after showing that message I quoted here, you drop some of your items, leaving it up to other players to find your satchel of lost items. Then, if you do drop items from blacking out, the game speaks out of place, displaying the message you were rescued, even though you clearly should be dead.
Course you couldn't forget about the one in Majora's Mask
Every Game Over is bad because this means that you're bad and I always got a heart attack when I'm seeing a Game Over on the screen. I'm so glad that this becomes a part of the past and I never wanna see this in my life again.

About that Starfox Command with Falco cheering Fox up. Krystal didn’t die. She joined Star Wolf and the team were able to defeat the Anglar Emperor before Fox and Falco did. Fox was crying (and drinking) because he lost the girl and glory. Honestly, most of Command’s ending bites.
Animal crossing doesn’t have a game over, but in the gamecube version if you turn your gamecube off while visiting another player’s town, your character will lose its face when you power your gamecube back up. I found that to be pretty disturbing
There's a game over in Kid Icarus: Uprising during a boss fight where you have to fight a parasitic insect controlling Palutena. If you attack Palutena instead of the insect, the Game Over cutscene will show Palutena dying in slow-motion while Pit shouts out "No! What have I done?"
I think that's the worst game over in the franchise because it's both a bad ending and it has voice acting.
I'm surprised you didn't mention the horrific looking game over screen for Donkey Kong Country (and debatably scary one for DKC2)
Dixie's Double Trouble was the least scary. I got that Game Over by putting the game in the SNES, turning it on to a black screen than the Nintendo and Rareware logos, and resetting the SNES. This only appears if you lose all your lives or pirate the game, which neither happened, because all of it was official.
The section where you talked about real deaths seems very insensitive considering this video is about ‘game overs’ and saying “if you have to die over a video game, I have to call you out on it”?!?!? I’m sure these people didn’t intend to and the fact you had to call them out on it?? The rest was good but that part, come on man...
There's a downer scene in Mariokart 64 if you rank 4th or lower where your character watches the top three from a distance. And then gets blown up. It's more funny than anything though lol
In the Octo expansion dlc for spltoon 2 if you die in the final level then the other characters will react.

Exactly, the playable octoling actually dies during that part if you die, and don't forget about the final boss (not the secret Agent 3 boss) where if you fail, all of Inkopolis gets destroyed with everyone in it
While Banjo-Kazooie has a game over cut scene, most people seen it as almost better in a mature and funny way. However, in Banjo-Tooie it's implied that Grunty and her sisters succeed in draining the life force from the world
So if kid Icarus goes up to heaven for his death animation that means Mario…

I think a scary game over screen is in Splatoon 2: octo expansion when if you die on the last challenge of covering the NILS statue in ink it shows a cutscene of inkopolis being destroyed and Pearl saying "INKOPOLIS! noo..."

White Shy Guys can bring back the Yoshis but man that music when that last Yoshi gets taken is horrifying
So basically Kirby, Yoshi, Mario and Pokémon are relatively safe

5:43 Krystal doesn't die. In fact, it could be argued that that ending and the one where she becomes Kursed happen concurrently.
Animal Crossing has the most brutal ending. You eventually lose interest in the game, but it's always somewhere in your head that each day you don't play, your community is slowly falling apart. You know if you ever go back, you'll find a town overgrown with weeds, with most of the residents having moved on long ago.
Do The Scariest Way to die in every Nintendo Franchise
The worst game over scenario that I can recall from Starfox is the Fortuna level where if you run out of time, the base is destroyed Independence Day style.

Ok I have 3 suggestions for you here 2 are repeats but that is to emphasize how much I want at least one of them to be made, 1) discuss the best ending in either every Nintendo franchise or at least in each Mario Bros game including the superstar saga parts where you collect everything, 2) do a video on the backstory both in our world making the game and about the story in the game based on other sources about the characters and story in the game, for the game "Yume Kojo Doki Doki Panic" and if there are any places that talk about the characters after the end of the game, 3) highlight the differences and similarities between the various versions of "Super Mario Bros 2 USA" including "Yume Kojo Doki Doki Panic", the unreleased but still made prototype version for the NES, the official version of the game for the NES, the All Stars version for the SNES, and the other version for the Gameboy Advance, discussing what items were used or changed in each version as well as what items were not used or changed and things they planned to change but didn't including music, and especially in what gimmicks were added to the Gameboy Advance version, I hope this works for you in terms of ideas and I know there are websites and videos about all of these things out there and I'd love to see you highlight and discuss them

I suppose the worst way to lose is losing in Legends Arceus. If you're doing a Nuzlocke, the worst way to lose is your entire team getting crit.

There are worse games overs than that in Splatoon, particularly in the Octo Expansion where if you fail at any part in the section where you escape to the surface, the playable octoling actually dies and if you fail at the Tartar boss, Inkopolis gets destroyed along with everyone in it so those are WAY worse than the one you chose

I don’t get how you put in DK64 game over and not the DK country gameover because that one is so scary and I got nightmares for more than a year from it

As for Kirby I would definitely pick Mass Attack's game over since it is the only game Kirby actually DIES.
And you know killing Kirby is one of the biggest crimes you can do in a videogame.

oh my gosh, I didn’t know that people can get an game over of Pokémon go.
Wario Land 3: you are immortal for the entire game, but if the final Boss Rudy the Clown capture you there is a definitely Game Over and you must restart the game.

Also, on Splatoon in this list, you should've included that bad ending in the Splatoon 2 DLC, Octo Expansion, should you fail to cover the entirety of the world destroying weapon with ink before time runs out, leaving Inkopolis to be destroyed in a cutscene. Thankfully, this bad ending cutscene can be skipped, cause I died and failed that "fight" so much I needed to skip each time I fail. Unlike in a normal Splatoon match, you have one life, that's it. And you need to cover that world-destroying weapon completely in ink, without even once falling into the water. Otherwise, you have to restart that final "battle" from the beginning
And the third entry, where if you couldn’t defeat the final boss in time, the entire world turns to fur. “We’ve failed you, Splatsville”
I'm actually gonna have to disagree with worst game over for luigi's mansion as i feel like the game over that could've been in the 1st game is the worst as you the player made luigi go into serve depression and also it it pretty scary

The other Game over in the wario series is the both the GB and VB wario land
Unlike Mario Land 2 getting a Game over in those games will cost you to lose one of the treasures you collected
For good meaning you'll never get it back.

For being a young teen I hate donkey Kong 64’s game over screen it’s like Nintendo did nothing to make it it’s like they don’t care

I think a bad game over would be in Breath of the Wild we're you can be struck by lightning and for any new players who don't know how to not get zapped by it will leave players very frustrated.
