The cutscenes really bring the crossover theme to life. Seeing stuff like diddy kong coming across rayquaza and pit talking to mario is sick, so brawl’s cutscenes are kinda the best
And the fact World of Light’s only similar cutscene was there for the trailer is criminal. Subspace Emissary was so cool and they literally pretended to make a sequel to it. 😭
Yeah, that was exactly what got me so hyped for world of light, pit and zelda inspiring their comrades, the characters trying to save each other from galeem.. and then nothing, that was it.

how did i never know you could use stickers to powerup characters, i put so much time into this game as a kid and never knew about it

This clause would make the run impossible. Both Peach and Zelda die like that at some point in the run no matter what, and then you’re locked to them on the Halberd. And that’s not even mentioning when Tabuu shows up

20:31 Pit’s never been able to fly by himself in the main games. It’s later established in Uprising that if Pit uses the Power of Flight over 5 minutes, his wings catch fire. This is later shown when he saves Dark Pit near the end of the game.

Loved being apart of this as the unofficial coach! Been doing my own runs on hard, so maybe I'll catch up and beat Poppt to the punch, never know! long overdue omg finally
Just found this video, I've gotten an attempt to the final 3 characters of the great maze on Very Hard difficulty before losing all remaining characters, the full attempt PB is on my twitch channel, Intense is practically impossible to complete a nuzlocke even with my 7+ years of experience speedrunning Subspace.
As the most credible person regarding Subspace speedruns/challenges, Yes, a subspace nuzlocke has been completed before, I and i'm sure many others have completed one on Easy (probably some with stickers which I find lame), I've completed on Easy and Normal before but unrecorded prior to streaming Very Hard attempts, it takes barely any effort to do the lower difficulties as long as you have some knowledge of ambushes and general smash mechanics.
This series is probably not single uploading a completed run, so don't use Kirby at all if don't entirely know what you're doing, otherwise the run is over once Kirby dies due to Subspace 2 only enabling Kirby as the sole character.

I miss in ultimate how organized equipment and stickers were in smash 4 and brawl respectively I always loved smash 4's customs. I think in ultimate the the spirits are mechanically the same but just worse organized and a lot more of them like pokemon gen 1 vs current gen. just a bit less special also just that the only new mechanic spirits brings is level ups and lvl99 enchancements it's just kinda a sad system

He did many runs on Hard nine months ago but could never finish the locke now he's doing one final attempt win or lose the videos will be for this one run so he changed to normal for a better shot of having the series go far
