He was doing what he was trained to do. If the lady has a grievance, she should go through the proper channels. (Not fight police)
I just realized that so many stupid people think they can resist an arrest. Why don't they have any sense of esteem ? When the officer says you are under arrest, do you expect a red carpet ??. Why to opt him to use the force ?.
Muhammad she was given an explanation and was warned multiple times. She straight up tried to drive away! You can’t do that! She thought she could argue her way out of it bc that’s probably how she treats retail workers and they just have to give her what she wants. She got her rude awakening and she deserved it.
While the lady was an idiot and rude, he didn't explain the consequences of not signing the ticket. He just immediately went to arrest her after she said no. That's not deescalation. A lot of people think that signing the ticket is an admission of guilt, which is why people refuse to sign. However, the signature just means you're acknowledging that the officer presented you the ticket and that you can contest it in court if you feel you're not guilty. When she refused, he should have explained to her that it doesnt mean she's guilty, and by not signing he would have to arrest her. He MAY have been able to avoid the entire incident if he explained that to her.
Yeah I agree the lady was a major idiot and obviously caused herself a lot of trouble but since the officer had a vendetta against her son, it's obvious he isn't gonna want to deescalate the situation.

In case you're wondering: Texas law requires you to sign the ticket to declare that you'll show up for court at the appointed date. If you don't sign it, then you can be arrested and held until your court date. California does this too.
As far as I’m aware, the default is to arrest someone for a traffic infraction. All a ticket does is say you’ll take care of it at a later date. (Source, I’ve gotten A LOT of tickets)
@@SouthernCanadianSoup Maybe in your country, but in America most traffic infractions do not end in an arrest. Stupid old hag, should’ve just signed and payed it. She could’ve gone into her computer or phone paid the ticket and be done with it. Now look at her 😂
What's actually silly is she's arguing with the officer when that has to be done in court. Not sure if this is policy but the police officer should've reminded her that her signature was only to prove that she received it, it's not an acknowledgement of a crime.

Didn’t expect to have to scroll so far for this comment. Yes she was difficult but she thought signing was admission of guilt. Why didn’t he explain to her that it’s not an admission of guilt?

In case you're wondering: Texas law requires you to sign the ticket to declare that you'll show up for court at the appointed date. If you don't sign it, then you can be arrested and held until your court date. California does this too.
People like this don't seem to understand that signing the ticket is not an admission of guilt. You can always challenge it in traffic court.
As far as I’m aware, the default is to arrest someone for a traffic infraction. All a ticket does is say you’ll take care of it at a later date. (Source, I’ve gotten A LOT of tickets)

@@andresamaya7350 Time. That`s one of the most important aspects. You think you need to rush it but you really don`t.
Look at your accomplishments. Because they`re there. You just don`t realize it yet. But when you do, you`ll also understand that you did this on your own. An once you see that, you made the first step.
There are going to be ups and downs. Times where your confidence grows and reaches immense heights. But one small thing smashes it to bits again. Usually it`s a mistake we made. Others would call it minor at best. But in our mind, every mistake, no matter how big or small, is a massive failure. Because that`s what was instilled upon us.
At the same time, every setback strengthens the foundation of confidence. Because you`re gonna get right back up.
