I was there. I am still there. The Unity Radio stream for the Haç was superb last Sat. Morales, Sanchez, Terry, Park. Life changing place. Closed 22 years ago and we still worship it. Top one, nice one, sorted.

The most important place in house music. I was there. As Tony said - to hell with Cream, Ministry and Ai Nappa. But Ibiza .... no Tony that was the only weeks I missed lol. Amnesia . But NOTHING compared to the HACIENDA. Nothing. We made history.

That is only a half truth. GM police, at the time, were very conservative (Anderton) but once the Hac started making money the rats were always going to come in. And at first they were invited in. Useless pricks in and around factory welcomed the drug connections until the monsters came out.

With out the gangs it would never have happened. This scene relied on the illegal rave scene, organised by the pals of security organisers. Who where they? The criminals and scallions of the N/west cities. Simple as that. Who else could keep em in line. Not the police, tell you that.

MEMORIES ❤️I can’t put it into words how fantastic The HAC was . From 1988/92 was cool . But then I started to go to Flesh ( gay mixed night) once a month at The HAC, Paul Cons had a drag Queen on the Door keeping the Gang bangers out.
