Lately I was having porn addiction. I have tried multiple remedies but wasn't able to control, but one day I saw a video of ASAP Science for the same. It helped me, it helped me because at that moment when I clicked the video I got educated about the situation I'm going through. See my point is, we know something is bad for us and we try to get out of it. No matter how many tries we do we fail we are blind folded but being educated we get enlightened. I've been already trying to move away of this 'short content' to that this video gave more power to me. Thanks!

This video is so true. It's really addictive. I am currently in 12th and so to break this addiction I decided to Uninstall instagram since that's where I wasted most of my time on reels but now I am just finding myself replacing reels with youtube shorts. I was not conscious about this replacement till now. It's wired how short form content leads to more wastage of time than long form content.

I think the main reason why people like/love short videos is because we have a very short/small Attention Span. People will leave a movie after watching it for 5-10mins just because they didn't find the first 5-10mins intresting

I completely agree with you. We unfortunately live in a society where people can't just focus on a single form of media nowadays due to a lacking attention span. Also, they probably put ads on it and in order to "transform" the content that doesn't belong to them into "their" content they ad the gta gameplay I'm the background.

I started watching AevyTV just a month back, and felt like one of their videos was pretty good. On discovering their channel and excavating their content thoroughly, I realise that this is truly one of the most informative channels in the internet. Thanks for this informative video! I never installed tiktok in my phone, now I just have TH-cam and Google chrome, and not even Instagram. You could have shared what are all the consequences or side effects of having less retention because of consuming more short-form videos!
Till very recently I thought that I have lost my learning capacity that i had before lockdown, i just realised that the day i don't watch educational videos on TH-cam, it is very easy for me to study. I don't think that just watching short stupid content hurts my brain, but watching any type of content too much make our brain weak(in short term) from data overload. And because of short form content, my brain is exposed to a very huge amount of data in a very short period of time and this should be avoided at any cost by a student.
Especially most of the short timed vertical videos are waste of time. Even if you watch around 60 one minute videos then probably an hour is just gone watching something that's not worth it and you gain nothing over it. The fact that recently I have been preventing vertical videos (i.e yt shorts,ig reels,etc) and actively watching full screen videos 16:9 content like yours Aevy TV provides something that would probably be helpful in many forms. I hate to say it but the direction that the world is going is slightly tilted,even I doubt that what will the future generation hold? In these recent years there's isn't that much 'great' things happening world widely as compared to the 20th century's great things like the unimagined potential growth in science and technology (operating systems, discoveries, elements, exploration, even CGI of movies were better than movies of 2022). Anyways thanks for putting up efforts and detailed research on this topic. Absolutely worth watching my time guys. Love it. ❤️
A question - how do you know that YT/Insta, have uniform AI across the world? Between, this is a brilliant effort by team. Just want to add, some more perspectives to this. a) Some or most of the influencers are getting paid for other's creativity. b) Irrespective of the country. Human's attention span is drastically decreasing. And this does not do ANY good for humans. This unfortunately, would be part in every phase of our lives.

I knew that tiktok belonged to China and that tiktok is literally a threat to national security. Glad it is banned in India. But man I am worried about my generation.
Found this channel a few days ago and loveee the topics you guys discuss! I’ve always had a problem with short form content, i never got into Tik tok when it first got popular so I find it anxiety inducing to keep jumping from video to another every few seconds, just as I am starting to get interested in the topic. The constantly changing background music also triggers my anxiety. I can’t watch tik toks with my younger sister and my sister can’t watch 1 hour podcasts with me. My friends can’t watch a 5 mins video without taking their phones out 😂😂
I wonder whether the companies which requires it's workforce to be creative, productive and focused for the job might include a focus and attention based tests during recruiting.
Despite the long-form content, Varun's "India has Changed" video was a great hit. The idea of Overstimulation through Social Media and the Internet gives me a Dystopian feeling. Even Andrew Huberman says that Getting Bored is necessary for our brain to connect the dots and induce productivity. Similar Thoughts by Cals Newport while doing our Deep Work. The irony is whether India's gonna make it big with such algorithms rotting the minds of our Indians.

Finally... I feel happy because I was wondering am the only who avoid these social media things is most cases ... I have been avoiding shorts (vertical format video) since it arrived ... Initially I avoided it because it had no focus on content even on jokes (it was incomplete but still make some laughter? Why) and it was cringe plus ... Later I saw people had less patience, addicted to it ... They find more important shorts than their priorities ... Like important work and speaking with friends..they lost the habit of boredom ... Boredom is great for your mental health and social approach in public... People find me as a boomer uncle ...yes I might be a current generation guy who fell love with old 90's fashion. That's because the invention made in through in my generation makes the human to evolve back to monkey not to evolve more than human .. we are creatures with ultimate thinking power and imagination ability we are here to make some history of living existence... In favour of short form content, if the amount of information delivered is same, I'd prefer 30 seconds over an 8 minute stretched out video which is often the case on youtube.
Actually earlier in TH-cam and Instagram I would never watch the content/video thrown at me by AI instead, I would search my fav creator watch his or her videos posts then leave. Never saw tiktok but extremely like doing dubsmashes and likes watching dubsmashes of my friends . Thank God it got banned But when Instagram reel/YT shorts came oh my my mind is messed up . Now I am not searching anything just following blindly AI , kind of addicted not able free myself, but I've not given up. Will be back searching and watching what I like.

Noise in the PNG image used is bit long , could have been a bit less ( my personal suggestion ). Trying new things always looks fresh. Content-wise its a gem :) keep rocking.

Finally... I feel happy because I was wondering am the only who avoid these social media things is most cases ... I have been avoiding shorts (vertical format video) since it arrived ... Initially I avoided it because it had no focus on content even on jokes (it was incomplete but still make some laughter? Why) and it was cringe plus ... Later I saw people had less patience, addicted to it ... They find more important shorts than their priorities ... Like important work and speaking with friends..they lost the habit of boredom ... Boredom is great for your mental health and social approach in public... People find me as a boomer uncle ...yes I might be a current generation guy who fell love with old 90's fashion.
That's because the invention made in through in my generation makes the human to evolve back to monkey not to evolve more than human .. we are creatures with ultimate thinking power and imagination ability we are here to make some history of living existence... Not to do some dumb us think...
Speak with people face to face ... Don't try to hide from social insecurity... Learn to be bored ... And failed ... That's how we have evolved these many days

Actually earlier in TH-cam and Instagram I would never watch the content/video thrown at me by AI instead, I would search my fav creator watch his or her videos posts then leave. Never saw tiktok but extremely like doing dubsmashes and likes watching dubsmashes of my friends . Thank God it got banned
But when Instagram reel/YT shorts came oh my my mind is messed up . Now I am not searching anything just following blindly AI , kind of addicted not able free myself, but I've not given up. Will be back searching and watching what I like.
