Absolutely love the 'xen' track. Never knew anyone would react to this but I'm so happy I found this video! Also, you don't have to react to it or anything and maybe you've already listened to this album but I'd recommend checking out "Thats Harakiri" by SD Laika if you enjoy Arca, its a lot more hardcore, glitchy and mind bending but I love it, sounds a lot like a mix of deconstructed club + industrial techno. My favorite track in the album is Great God Plan, if you don't feel like listening to the whole album, def give that track a shot!
I love this albums it's my second favourite from her only bested by Arca (for wich I'm looking forward to your reaction) And Ive sort of pinpointed why I like it so much: She creates sounds that feel like they occupy a physical space in relation to your body (wich is nothing out of this world considering that's how most headphones work) but she emphasizes this so we'll with her control of silences. And other thing she does masterfully that you already pointed out is how she creates anticipation but still manages to surprise with something. Anyway I'm subbing

Your enthusiasm is very cute. But I'm sorry bro, you need to make it clear that this is purely your train of thought and really really but really not the artist's. You have to see the video clip, hear the previous works, understand the mysterious soul, understand the meaning of the album's name, its desire to connect the release of my self in the night clubs and the fragility that one places oneself in them. One of the most influential albums in the history of club music, it is not a dark album but an album of self-observation, but a self-searching of Arca with herself, trying to understand who she is and what she wants, her character and her female soul.
I totally feel you and I understand the album much better now, but I always hope my words are not taken as fact, that’s why I put review in the title and words in the description to hopefully make that clear. As always music is as subjective as it can get, so I just try to tell my experience diving into these sounds with fresh ears. Thank you for the comment! I’ve gotten sooooo much more out of this album since diving into her full discography and it remains a favourite of mine. Sound-wise i’d still say this album is quite dark, nocturnal if you will.
