Speaking for myself I do seem to have a monthly cycle although my symptoms are mild. It's also worth noting that it's not uncommon for cis women to still experience pms symptoms post hysterectomy.
Thanks for sharing 🙏🏻
@@roxytocin8639 To clarify I meant a hysterectomy with an oophorectomy. Also are you ok?
Omg, I can't believe these people spend that much time typing up an essay that gets deleted.
@@KateMadden I know right! That one read a little like it was written by AI but still: who searches youtube for random strangers to harass?
And too important to remember that not all women get symptoms from their period, only the loss of the uterus lining that happens every month. I can though imagine transwomen specially if their hormones are imbalanced get period or PMS like symptoms. And anyway hormones effects us all women, some stronger than others.
It could very well be that many trans women aren't aware of what they're experiencing as menstrual pains, though it might also be likely that it is, as you said, possibly psychosomatic (I hope that I said that accurately and fairly). I'm very much in an, "I don't know, " position. I don't think I experience menstrual pains, but my own experiences should not be generalized as I don't represent all trans women and their experiences.
Good point ☝🏻
For me I seemed to sync up emotionally when I was living with cis people as they commented on it but not much apart from that apart from things that can be dismissed , I still get bouts of intense emotion with bloating and brain fog but not every month. I don’t want to invalidate what others feel or experience either but it’s my experience

I used to think people who said they got em were making it up. It didn't seem possible. ...but then I started getting them. Cramps, bloating, moodiness, weepiness. I always make sure I have Midol. It really helps.
The bloating is the one I really didn't expect. I'll go to put my pants on, and they suddenly won't fit. Then I'll end up crying and going "I'm fat and ugly and gross." ...just like my mom used to when she got em.
Great tip, thanks for sharing.
