Glad that you are accepting the insulin resistance issue. Take it from one who ignored it until type 2 diabetes set in,,,you don’t want that. Keto is a great way to head it off. Weight is the biggest contributor and unfortunately the carbs in beer does too. I lost the weight and changed my diet and it improved but it didn’t resolve it. You still can change it and I hope it works for you.
Motorcycle camping is how I found your channel a few years ago. I'm pretty sure it was through you that I found Shadetree, Chey, Blockhead, and Uncle Bogator, so I owe you a big thanks for helping me find my favorite motorcycle-related channels on TH-cam! Keep the camping content coming!
LOVE the two versions, that’s so great, thank you, watched them both, your content and editing skills are on point. Hope this double version thing becomes your standard for camping videos. So nice. Be well!
Hello Jess, The Old Man Here. I have heard it said the cardinals bird are the spirit of loved ones who have passed away, checking in on how you are doing.
Just watch your a1c and keep it in check. Small changes to your diet make big difference over the long haul. Lots of us deal with this too! You'll be fine. Nice camp site too! Love the summer life! Cheers!
I re-joined a conservation club recently that I was a member of 20 years ago. It's a 45 minute ride through the country from my house. They allow me to keep a locker there for my second set of hammock camping gear. So far I have had the whole place to myself when camping. Firewood is free. There's a rowboat at the pond full of fish. Yearly dues are lower than I spend for a three day campsite on most of my trips. It has been a sanity saver for me. I sometimes go there just to practice archery, or hike through the woods. I went from a 10.1 A1C to a 5.5. I've been in the 5s for three years now without meds.Besides running close to a keto diet, I have a little Organic "Ceylon" cinnamon every day, and a 1 mg. Chromium Picolinate tablet.
My wife and I have been Keto and for the last 2 years carnivore. Best decision we ever made. No processed foods, just meat and eggs. Never felt better and lost 50 pounds.
Great vid and wonderful night shot of the stars above the trees... looking forward to the next one. I only live an hour or so from the Dragon... enjoyed that vid as well, can't wait to get up there now ! Ride safe lady !
Suggestions, form ear plugs, full size lone rider tent, citronella for mosquitoes, chair, Pilates, wall pilates for us moto campers . Love ❤️ the videos. Be safe. 😊
Hi everyone! Jess I m glad you like (or seem to to like the area I am so lucky to live in . I'm lucky enough to live 60miles from the dragon and 61miles from Hendersonville in WNC AND about 10 minutes from the Blue ridge parkway 😊 where there is no better motorcycle riding IN THE WORLD!!! sorry.just rubbing it in a little 😮. Mike.
HAHAHA, the Racoon sound!!! It's hard to not wanna nap in the am when the birds are chirping before it gets hot and noisy. A tent if I stay more than one night for sure. Otherwise I don't care, sometimes nice to pack light and just enjoy nature.
Jess and fans of her two wheels. Please do not ignore the signs of pre diabetic issues. It is fixable if cared for. I was just diagnosed with a rare form of adult onset type one diabetes a week ago. Ignored the symptoms of resistance, then ignored type 2 symptoms until insulin would no longer be produced due to chronic pancreatitis. Its a complete lifestyle change mid fourtys. Been riding all my life and bought a new street glide a yr ago but have been to sick to really experience long distance travel, a rally, a bike night, thought a new bike would improve quality of life but should have addressed the real issues. Dont Make My Mistake. Handle your health so you can keep riding. Be safe and keep two wheels on the road. ✌️
Hopefully you can head off the Type 2. I didn't realize what was going on until it was too late. Now I take five meds alone to control my A1c, two of which are injections. Three others for HBP, Cholesterol and heartburn/GERD. Not to mention the four vitamins, lol. The camping thing is awesome. I would do it, but I don't think my back would put up with it, and the wife is too "big-city girl", and has to have a shower and access to a mall daily. Even if she doesn't go, lol. So I live a little vicariously through you on this. Enjoy, be safe!
So much prefer when you talk to us. Glad you made both versions. Out of curiosity, what's the "watch time" difference between the two videos? Also, hammock camping isn't for everyone for sure. However, there are ways to get around the gear on the ground issue for sure. One of the things I do is use a second hammock for storage. That said, for me, the sleep value of hammock camping outweighs any inconvenience of gear storage. Nothing like a good hammock sleep IMHO. 😊
Great video Jess! 👏 Have you ever flipped in that hammock? Sorry to hear about your T2DM, they say just going for a walk after meal can help reduce blood sugar levels. Do your best to stay healthy💪
I hope to go camping in FL when it cools down some. Will trailer my bike and kayak. I got a free senior hunt/fish license in FL, so fresh fish is on the menu if I catch some. Pesky raccoons &kids....
Beautiful looking campground, I'm just getting into motorcycle camping. I thought I was too lazy to bother with tent camping as i grew up camping in s motorhome. Love that exhaust though, perfect for campgrounds that probably look down on motorcycles coming in rightfully so due to our loud exhaust. What is that exhaust called?
Hi Jess heard two wheels how would you rate the facilities and another amenities at this campgrounds any feedback you could give would be helpful thank you. 😎
All it really takes to control sugar when pre diabetic is watch carbs sugar and take a half hour walk every day. If hunger bothers you try to eat extra protein.
Hey Jess I was just curious what brand of Bluetooth do you run on your helmet I want to upgrade my to something better just wondering what Bluetooth you run
I love the camping videos but truth be told I hate camping. I grew up and still live in the country. Every time I've gone camping I've always thought I could just sleep out in my yard and be more secluded than this. Maybe someday I'll get to camp someplace better.
Umm if i can ask with that hamic .how do you change? hmm or do you pop in the washroom to do that ? hopefully thats not a stupid question lol oh ps im totally digging this talky version 😉
Take that insulin resistance seriously. I was insulin resistant for a long time and controlled it with diet and exercise. I’m now full fledged diabetic for over 20 years. It’s a progressive disease. I’m on one shot a day of synthetic insulin. I was on pills and diet for a while and found side effects are horrible. 80 units of insulin a day and I’m in good control. I’m also nearly 70 years old also.
I did. Lost a lot of weight. I fell off the wagon and some major life/career changes are making it difficult to get back on track. Also I love sweet's. Even week's into carb free intermittent fasting I would crave sugar. Plain seltzer is what I try to use to satisfy my cravings.
If you prefer less discussion... check out this video: bit.ly/3RKuFCk
Interesting, at first I thought it was a two/fers moto camping trip. One w/sound and the visual. Just the same.
Good Video.
Nice video keep up the good work Jess

The flashing instrument cluster would drive me crazy.
It doesn’t flash in real life. It’s the frame rate of the camera you’re seeing
OK, I just have to say that your hammock looks amazingly comfortable. Thanks for the link, definitely adding to my list for the bike.
Super fun to see it in this version too, lol. Smart move!
love your videos and thank you for sharing and please be safe.
Awesome video and awesome campsite! ✌🤙
Thanks!!!
Hello Jess, The Old Man Here. I have heard it said the cardinals bird are the spirit of loved ones who have passed away, checking in on how you are doing.

A relaxing 🏕 camping video. Glad that you are camping again. It's too hot and humid in Maryland to camp. 104 degrees yesterday.
Your videos are peaceful

Love it thank you for sharing. Thoughts and prayers for your health.
Really dig both video styles out of the one trip.
I just took a ride earlier this week and went through Glouster.
Suggestion for the chicken try some Weber Kickin Chicken spice, it is awesome. Cheers from Cincy.
My wife and I have been Keto and for the last 2 years carnivore. Best decision we ever made. No processed foods, just meat and eggs. Never felt better and lost 50 pounds.
I love the camping videos. Mama two wheels taught you to be a great cook.

Another great video! Thanks for sharing!
Just for the record, you made me spend money again. ;) Bought a Quad Lock set up this time.

Quite the trooper; Lawnmowers, noisy children, heat, animals, mosquitoes. Going to attempt to get my wife to watch.

🏕️ camping is awesome
Jess did you say humidity? Well I have all the humidity you possibly could want right here in Central Florida. Lol.....
Live in central Fl also, and the humidity has been off the charts
@@frankveronese1290 Yes! We just have to hold on till November and then it will improve. Lol.
Hoping you get 200,00 subscribers soon.

Have you ever been to old man cave in the Hocking Hills? We camped there some years back, great hiking. The gorge is 6 miles long.
Yep!
Awesome footage...FYI...If ya need a camera man I am available!

so this is the talkie version of this camping trip.
Hey Jess I was just curious what brand of Bluetooth do you run on your helmet I want to upgrade my to something better just wondering what Bluetooth you run
I like the time lapse footage of the stars. How long did you shoot that for?
Not sure. Until the battery died lol
It would be an adventure to go on a road trip camping and only bring what can fit on a motorcycle.
Did you pack the kitchen sink in that bag? Also holy crap you had a lot of stuff in there.😱🤣🤣🤣🙏
Video good night Jim Ross ATL camp
Wow! I'm number 777 on thumbs-up I do enjoy you videos.
so your dslr is a cannon . i picked out the red strip on the lens
what brand of camera do you have
Have you shared a video on the exhaust? I think i missed it.
And as for the hawk. My dogs are not happy about it
Yep, about 5 videos ago.
How much weight of camping gear, is added to your bike?
Please tell me you have 2A for your safety while camping on your own!
Was curious how sleeping in the hammock compared to tent camping..
Love your videos ❤❤
Prediabetic oh geez!!! Jess, no carbs for you!!!!😳
I've always had a terrible reaction to carbs. now I know why
Yup that's it....😊
What is the make/model of that tank bag ???
Did I miss something in the description? Can’t find what camping chair you use.
www.amazon.com/shop/hertwowheels
Whats the big bag you are using that's waterproof
I’m quite curious what tent you use (when you use a tent).
What size Lone Rider bag do you use?
Get a thermacell for the mosquitos
Have one. Just bulky lol
I love the camping videos but truth be told I hate camping. I grew up and still live in the country. Every time I've gone camping I've always thought I could just sleep out in my yard and be more secluded than this. Maybe someday I'll get to camp someplace better.

Go full carnivore for 30 days. You won't go back.
