    Literally the best video ever ! This is exactly what I’ve been doing the past few months on my car at the shop and it’s so cool to watch this video

      Thank you! It takes time and patience to get over some things, but at the end, being able to drive the car makes it all worth the trouble.

    Who ever is going to watch this video, don't take your camsahfts off like he did, they snap in half pretty easy this way. You have to look which lobes on the camshaft are pointing down and release these caps last!

    • @superiordriftgarage
      @superiordriftgarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      youre actually right, thanx for pointing this out too. I fucked up on that, but will remember for sure. Thanx for watching!

    I'm about to turbo mine. Bought a link g4x ecu for it. I'm not going to run the spacer or anything for my head gasket. Boost and timing will be kept a bit lower but I'm only aiming for 300 wheel. How good is the gt35? I'm thinking gt30 for my goals

    • @superiordriftgarage
      @superiordriftgarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      For daily driving I think 300 wheel should be ok...but remember that people like us always want more power baby! You should be able to reach safe 300 with E85, but what if that 300 won't be enough? Gt3530 that I have gives full boost at about 4k rpms.

    Awesome video! Did you buy the whole K64 Kit? Also I did not see any AFR Gauge/ broadband lambda, how are you taking care of that?

    • @superiordriftgarage
      @superiordriftgarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes sir, it's a while k64 kit. AFR gauge got installed later, which is actually not in the video. Bung was made in the exhaust pipe. Thank you for watching!

      @@superiordriftgarage thanks for the great content dude, planning on buying a k64 kit myself, any issues or anything else that is needed? Looks to be quiet complete. Did you also order the clutch from them?

    Nice video! What ECU using? Looks like stock?

    • @superiordriftgarage
      @superiordriftgarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Stock ECU wired to ECM Master Det 3....which literally makes it work like a standalone. If you don't mind tapping into your cars wiring then this could be a cost effective solution! Thanx for watching!

    No MLS heasgaskets or arp studs? How much power you think I could push on 100% stock internals?

    • @superiordriftgarage
      @superiordriftgarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      no MLS gasket because i used 2 stock plus metal spacer. This is making 400 wheel right now, and per tuner we have some room for more power. In europe, K64 garage makes 500+ whp with the same set up on pump gas! Its been proven over and over to be a good and reliable setup.

    What head gasket and gearbox did you guys use?

    • @superiordriftgarage
      @superiordriftgarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have 2 oem head gaskets plus metal spacer. First gearbox was a getrag that took a shit after few runs on the track. Now in running a ZF from a M3.... so far so good. Thanx for watching!

    what about getting bund welded instead of using the bolt system for the timing cover? wondering how to do mine

    • @superiordriftgarage
      @superiordriftgarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't have a way to weld mine, but yes, if you can weld it on then do it, simply because you won't have any oil leaks if done correctly.
