That's the difference between Hurrem and Mahidveran. There's a saying that goes, when you want something done right, you do it yourself. When Hurrem wants things done, she takes command of the situation. Mahidveran is always hoping someone else will fight her battles for her, and save her. A trait she passed onto her son, which got him killed.
I mean Mahidevran was able to kill Mehmed much earlier than Hurrem killed Mustafa. Too bad Mahidevran only had 1 son while Hurrem had 4, if Mahidevran had one more child like Mustafa then Hurrem would have lost the war for sure. Mahidevran isn't stupid Hurrem is smarter but Mahidevran is also smart, she was able to surround Mustafa with smart and loyal people. She always warned when Mustafa made mistakes and she knew Suleyman would kill Mustafa. She didn't trust Mihrimah but trusted the right siings Beyazid and Cihangir. After all Mahidevran is also smart but her mistake was that she didn't kill or send Hurrem away when she could. Hurrem learned from Mahidevran's mistake and killed or sent away all the girls Suleyman could like.
@yavuzabasiyanik1256 let's not pretend Mehmed dying earlier was due to Mahidveran's "brilliance." The only reason Mahidveran was able to get to Mehmed earlier than Hurrem could get to Mustafa was due to Hurrem's absence at the time. And that was someone else's engineering and fighting Mahidveran's battle. Had Hatice's plan to get rid of Hurrem to avenge her husband not been somewhat successful, you really believe anybody, regardless of who, could get to one of Hurrem's children unprotected and not only that, had a chance to kill her child whiles she's present to witness such an atrocity? Never! I'll give it to Mahidveran that she saw an opportunity and took it. The only time she'd get that opportunity in her life. But that was not due to her "geniusness" or "smartness." Again, someone else did the difficult job she couldn't do for her advantage. With all the protection and brilliant minds she assembled around Mustafa, Hurrem disabled that system and have Mustafa killed with the use of one single person, Rustem. That's the difference I'm talking about.
Ibrahim would’ve had such a better ending if he supported hurrem and her sons instead of mahidevran and mustafa, mustafa had a promising future for sure but being mahidevran’s son was his bad luck. Even hürrem told him that if mustafa was her son it would’ve all turned out so differently and i bet he would’ve succeeded as a sultan. One of the reason’s suleyman killed him was because he was always threatened by mustafa possibly taking his throne since suleyman’s father had done that and it didnt help that mahidevran raised him while poising his mind about being a sultan, unlike hurrem who raised them to listen to their father and not disobey or rebel against him
Hurrem beauty with brains. This is the difference between Hurrem and Mahidevran. Hurrem never cried in front of anyone for help, she always made an offer sensibly and asked for loyalty from people she want in her team...
'I knew that this would happen when I entrusted the Harem to you '. Yes Hurrem sultan is not like Mahidevran. They're completely different when it comes to Harem rules and law.
But Hurrem had money issues too, however it was the entrapment of Sulyman's sisters and her good will. As for Mihredevran, it was overindulgence and greediness.
Finally he has had enough of her and it was all her fault. She made the harem go bankrupt. After that she didn't even feel shame. Man... Edit: Even Ibrahim had enough of her😂
I just realized: Mahidevran made it impossible for Sulyman to fully trust Mustafa. Her crazy blood was in him. Her crazy talkwas in his ears all his life. Every time Suleyman would have doubts her actions weight on Mustafa’s side of the scale to. She killed her son.
Yes, and she was warned repeatedly by her own supporters about how her ill advised behavior would negatively impact her son by weaking or totally eroding his relationship with Sulieman but she just didn't listen. Eventually even her strongest supporters Valide and Ibrahim had enough of her and dropped her like a hot potato. Valide saw just how obviously eager she was for Sulieman to die when he became ill and that her sights were immediately set on her son asending the throne , solidifying her power and getting revenge as the new Valide Sultana by ensuring his siblings were killed off, which totally lost her that alliance . Ibrahim's support ends here as he clearly tells her that he's done cleaning up after her constant messes so she needs to take responsibility and deal with them herself now.
I like Hürrem because of one fact: she was a real woman. And I don't understand why Mahidevran always tried to compare herself to Hürrem and think she was better than her. Hürrem, for starters, was a free woman, while Mahidevran had always been Süleyman's slave until his death. Hürrem was the sultan's legal wife and that fact alone, made Hürrem be above Mahidevran in the hierarchic system. In addition, Hürrem always bared the consequences of her actions, while Mahidevran always blamed Hürrem for literally EVERYTHING bad that happened to her and always sought Ibrahim's help for everything. Mahidevran was also the sole person to blame for Mustafa's death, the way she raised him, into hating Hürrem and convince him he'd be the guaranteed successor to the throne, was his downfall. Hürrem was a better sultana than Süleyman's sisters as well, as she was actually bothered to be interested in the political situation of the kingdom and also was active at charities and the people's well being. While all the other sultanas were only bothered with their own status and well being. This is why, in my opinion, Hürrem is everything a true and strong woman should rapresent: strong, smart, caring, loyal to her loved ones and a dedicated mother to her children.
And what, if a woman doesnt want to have children? She can't be strong then? 🙃 And about Mahidevran - she just convinced herself that Mustafa will ascend the throne and then she'll get revenge on Hurrem. This is the greatest reason of her downfall, becouse Suleiman knew that Mustafa on the throne means death of his other children and maybe even Hurrem. Things would be different, if he could trust Mustafa that he won't kilk his siblings.
If you're actually talking about history, you're just taking Hurrem's good factors and the Princesses' bad factors into account. The Princesses' weren't busy with their own well being and status. If you talk about Sultan Selim's Princesses' here (as they were the one shown in the drama), not all of them has clear history written about them. But they did many charity work, political work and didn't have these family issues as shown in the drama.

@@joycesmith9777 In the show it's a bit of that mixed with how much Ibrahim began to abuse the power granted to him through Suleiman's trust. Historically things are a lot more complicated as, frustratingly, we don't really know the answer and it all comes down to what theory you want to believe in.
@@joycesmith9777 Well, regarding Ibrahim, there are a lot of theories about his downfall. In real life it didn't have much to do with Hurrem as much as with his personality. He fought often, even with high ranking generals, and the fact he was close to the Sultan since young and advising him made him feel... well superior. There are also rumors he wanted to return to his birth country and create his own Sultanate... So that and his abuse of power, going as far as calling himself a Sultan, and even the Sultan's owner, were enough to have him beheaded. His achievements and all made him deeply loved with the common people and army, and Suleiman feared that his son would eventually try to take over the throne through that power. Now, whether there was an actual plot as shown in the series, done by Hurrem and Mirihma is a bit unknown, because back then no one could go or find much out about the Imperial harem. Mahidevran always puts faults in other people but never in her wrong doing... Always crying... I feel pity for her... Her ways are what brought bad luck to her son.
Hurrem is of strong of character while Mahidevran is a weakling when facing troubles but scheming woman of a Devil. She can't outrun Hurrem. Hurrem comes out always the winner into Suleiman's ❤️!!!
She was warned about the unnecessary expenses which were going to bankrupt the harem, but she continued her senseless BS. Now she dares to complain "Hurrem did it again!", she really is disgusting this time.
4:00 I can’t believe she’s blaming hurrem!! The sultan dismissed mahi for attempting to kill gulfem and she had the nerve to say it was a trap from hurrem?? UHHH WHAT 😂
What Hurrem does is what every good Machiavellian personality does: she plots and schemes, gathering facts and “evidence” on those she wishes to control or destroy, and then uses this information against them. It helps her that she has a few loyal folks who stand by her always and others who can be bought with promises or gold.
Bahaha mahidevran bankrupt harem, she failed to manage it and hurrem also trapped her, double slap. Hurrem will rule harem better than her, difference between evil slave viper and true haseki sultan hurrem.
Without valide sultana to protect her, mahidevran just fall in pieces , slowly.. She's a child with adult's tool, nothing more.. When something happen she just cries and goes to an adult...
Mahidevran blamed and used everyone against Hurrem she used her own son to gain position and status but if backfired Hurrem used her brain and learnt to play their game early on if they had not tried to get rid of Hurrem from the start what a different place it could have been Hurrem as his legal wife used her position to help the people through foundations and charities
Mahidevran was Suleiman’s first concubine to have a successful birth in the show, so she was favoured from the start. When Hurrem came into the picture, Ibrahim disliked her and he shared that dislike with the Valide and Mahidevran. He has been trying to plot against Hurrem with her and elevate her position for years, but she’s so useless that he’s sick of her whining now. Ibrahim has bigger fish to fry.
Screws up herself, yet, tries to out the blame on Hurrem. Sulieman didn't believe her. The look on her face when he said she bankrupted the harem was pure shock!
How The Evil Gurrem* used Gulfem to take the charge of Harem. The most evil woman!! Everyone says she's kind but I don't know how do they think like stupid🤣🤣 *Imagine Mahidevran Sultan did the same like Gurrem* to take the Harem's control* 🌚
Who said sulayman has more than one wife? He is only has one wife: Haseki sultana hurrem.. the others is just concubines, incl Mahi.. Lucky for mahi, she is a mother of a prince.
I kind of understand why Mahidevran did the things she did. I'm not saying what she did was right and neither was Hurrem right but they were both trying to survive in the harem. I have watched the first few episodes and in one of them, there was a flashback of Mahidevran in Manisa palace. She seemed very happy with Suleyman (don't quote me on this) but then she arrives at the new palace and all of a sudden, she is no longer the sultan's favorite. Naturally, she is going to feel some jealousy and resentment. And though I am only 13 I know for sure if I was in a married to a man and another woman came along I would stop at NOTHING to get rid of her. So yes I do feel sorry for her. Not saying she was right but wouldn't you have done the same thing?
You're right.. she must have been jalous over stepping back in favor of the new sultana (which became eventually a legal wife).. still, it's her reaction towards the events that made her lose.. On multiple occasions, Mahidevran proved to be not worthy of power she would be granted.. In this series, I can underline three : 1- when she let go her feelings wild and beat Hürrem (which made Suleyman ignore her emotionally for the rest).. 2- when Suleyman was very ill and she started plotting to enable her son to become a Sultan, fortunately, Ayşe Hafsa Valide Sultan overheard the plan and she acted to protect Hürrem and the other children of Suleyman.. this situation made it crystal clear that Mahidevran was greedy for power while Hürrem was devastated over her love being sick.. 3- the matter of the video, when she was entrusted the Harem, she wasn't a good manager and made unaccaptable mistakes that's why she was dismissed and sent away to her son's Vilayet in Manisa
Gulfem was the Sultans first love & Mahideveran took the Sultan from her without a care.. also Mahidevran was never his wife.. she was his slave.. he freed Hurrem & married her (only a free woman could be the Sultans wife) so Mahideveran was never his wife.. she just thought she was because she had a prince lol.. she was just selfish & power hungry.. The title Haseki Sultan was literally created by Sulieman for Hurrem.. she was the first EVER wife of a Sultan aka the Haseki.. the just changed the actual history for added drama for the show..
I can see and understand your point of view especially when I have a child of his. I guess we are more annoyed of her strategies (tears and complains) instead of using her brain. That’s why she’s not quite favored.
I think that we all put our very modern, western feelings on these things. Of course people have always been jealous but these things were not only accepted in the Ottoman court, it was expected that the sultan would have many many women and many children with them. Suleiman actually broke the rules by having more children with Hürrem, it was supposed to be one son and done with that women. On to the next.
@@mbgal7758 Yes that is true one concubine 1 son.. but after he met Hurrem & he wanted to remain faithful to her.. he freed & married off the rest of the Harem then remained faithful only having relations with Hurrem (why she has more than one child)
Was ibrahim having any secret relationship with this devil women too?? Just asking....since for decades he protected her everytime after she commits a grave crime 😎😎 Being ibrahim...cant say 😎Right??
Hahaha I don't think so, it's just that he loved Mustafa and Mustafa loved him so he wanted to secure his future :) idiot Ibrahim, he payed for his mistakes.
In real history, she was never a sultana. She is a hatun. Even her real grave written as Mahidevran Hatun. Hurrem is the only sultana that married to Suleyman. Hurrem's real grave is written as Hurrem Sultan. Mahi place is only elevated because she gave birth to Mustafa. But still she was never a sultana
Hurrem is obviously one of the strongest and wisest woman in history, but she was also selfish and cruel. I think no one in the harem had a pure personality except Gulnihal. Gulnihal is definitely an angel. Anyways....the cruel lady became the sultan of harem and the angel remained as a servent...
No. Gulnihal cheated hurrem. She lied to her. She wanted to become a sultan. Hurrem trusted her completely. Shared all her feelings but Gulnihal backstabbed hurrem.
Suleiman has no interest no love no concern for mahedevran still he keeps her in the palace he has to leave her before Mustafa's execution he used mustafa his own son as a political stuff.
Lol she blames everything on hurrem and clearly she is the only one at fault her hate and jealousy of hurrem blinded her and turned her to an evil women
Yes mahidrevan's right she stepped into a trap but that trap wasn't set up by Hureem in the first place. She stepped into the "trap" set up by Suleyman who thought that she'd be clever enough to see what she's getting into when she was given that position which should have been given to Hureem. She's too greedy, power hungry and arrogant.
Right mahidevran always cries and complaining about everything bcoz she is a normal women but hurrem is more intelligent like vixen she knows how to handle a man more more clever than mahidevran.....I don't like hurrem she is the culprit who destroy ottoman dynasty.....actually she took her revenge from sultan

It's a good thing he found out ,at last and soo much damage created by her, especially to hurrem and nothing ever is her fault
Hurrem !hurrem !hurrem! Shes the best love her
Me to I want to hurrem take away to suliaman hahaha
Mahidevran always puts faults in other people but never in her wrong doing... Always crying... I feel pity for her... Her ways are what brought bad luck to her son.
Hurrem is of strong of character while Mahidevran is a weakling when facing troubles but scheming woman of a Devil. She can't outrun Hurrem. Hurrem comes out always the winner into Suleiman's ❤️!!!
The actors and actresses acting is fabulous.
I love mahidevran dress. Hurrem dress is also beautiful.. Green colour suits her.
Hürrem won a big one here ..
The debt, losing the room , Gulşah and the final touch Gülfem ..
Mahidivran didn't stand a chance!
These actors are amazing!
Bahaha mahidevran bankrupt harem, she failed to manage it and hurrem also trapped her, double slap. Hurrem will rule harem better than her, difference between evil slave viper and true haseki sultan hurrem.
Even if mahidevran was innocent this time, she’s just paying for all the times she was guilty and didn’t get caught or got a slap on the wrist. Karma.
I don't understand this!!! Mahidevran bow to ibrahim but hurrem don't 😂😂❤️❤️... MY QUEEN HURREM 👑💜
Mahidevran is almost always, sad, angry, hysterical, crying or jealous. So many negative emotions turns everyone away from her. Just sad.
0:38 Gulsah be like "oH shi-tT"
I was waiting for these clips :D
Without valide sultana to protect her, mahidevran just fall in pieces , slowly.. She's a child with adult's tool, nothing more.. When something happen she just cries and goes to an adult...
One of the few times I liked Ibrahim
Mahidevran said "you'll explain it to your majesty" and she forget that Hurrem is always win
Mahidevran... couldn't accept the reality that was her problem..and she created more problems for herself
the fact that mahidevran always plays the victim makes her cringy and pitiful. yikes
Suleiman said that he not forgot madhiveran poisoned him and hurrem unborn baby but how could he now entrust the harem to her 🤷🏼♀️
I know bad writing
That because law tradition...mahidevran had musatafa who crown prince.
Mahidevran should have been executed for poisoning Hurrem.
BRAVVVVVVVVVVVOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO,🎈🎉🎈🎉🎈🎉🎈🎉🎈🎉🎈🎉🎈🎉🎈🎉🎈🎉🎈🎉 BRAVOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO,
Question: why would Ibrahim protect mahidevran ? Do they have a relation of any kind ?
Mahidevran was Suleiman’s first concubine to have a successful birth in the show, so she was favoured from the start. When Hurrem came into the picture, Ibrahim disliked her and he shared that dislike with the Valide and Mahidevran. He has been trying to plot against Hurrem with her and elevate her position for years, but she’s so useless that he’s sick of her whining now. Ibrahim has bigger fish to fry.
Love son like his very own
What a pitiful woman 🤦♀️
Screws up herself, yet, tries to out the blame on Hurrem. Sulieman didn't believe her. The look on her face when he said she bankrupted the harem was pure shock!
I enjoyed everything,📽️🎬🎭🎥📺🎞️ indeed‼️‼️‼️‼️❗❗❗❗
Me too LMAO 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I just want to know something... what would happen if Mahidevil was sent out of the palace guys ?
It will be good if Team Hurrem and Ibrahim
Poor Mahadevran 😐 lost her only chance to get close to Suleiman
She didn’t lose her chance. She blew her chance.
How The Evil Gurrem* used Gulfem to take the charge of Harem. The most evil woman!! Everyone says she's kind but I don't know how do they think like stupid🤣🤣
*Imagine Mahidevran Sultan did the same like Gurrem* to take the Harem's control* 🌚
Makanya Mustafa gagal jdi Raja
Oh my god mahidevran is a robber 😳🤯😂
This mahidevran is highly incompetent and disturbing, I do not know why some people like her!
This is what happens when there is more than one wife
There was only one wife.
@@kayodewa in islam, every man can have 4 wifes (maximum).
@@mirzababyx9101 That's fine but Suleiman had only one wife
They were his concubines, Hurrem was the only wife.
Who said sulayman has more than one wife? He is only has one wife: Haseki sultana hurrem.. the others is just concubines, incl Mahi..
Lucky for mahi, she is a mother of a prince.
What episode 😊
Hurrem was not a saint..but she loved Suleiman wholeheartedly..which made her distinct
@@mbgal7758 Yes that is true one concubine 1 son.. but after he met Hurrem & he wanted to remain faithful to her.. he freed & married off the rest of the Harem then remained faithful only having relations with Hurrem (why she has more than one child)
what a nice story
Just love mahidevran🥀🥀🥀🥀
Was ibrahim having any secret relationship with this devil women too??
Just asking....since for decades he protected her everytime after she commits a grave crime 😎😎
Being ibrahim...cant say 😎Right??
Hahaha I don't think so, it's just that he loved Mustafa and Mustafa loved him so he wanted to secure his future :) idiot Ibrahim, he payed for his mistakes.
Nope
What episode is this? Thanks
Episode 63
@@ainisyed1445 thank you

What kind of Queen you are mahidevran 🥴
In real history, she was never a sultana. She is a hatun. Even her real grave written as Mahidevran Hatun. Hurrem is the only sultana that married to Suleyman. Hurrem's real grave is written as Hurrem Sultan. Mahi place is only elevated because she gave birth to Mustafa. But still she was never a sultana
@@cakesbynazlin5043 exactly! She was below hurrem and the royal sisters!
Is there a lot of magnificent century movies but same actors?
Berguzar Korel is more beutiful
Hurrem is obviously one of the strongest and wisest woman in history, but she was also selfish and cruel. I think no one in the harem had a pure personality except Gulnihal. Gulnihal is definitely an angel. Anyways....the cruel lady became the sultan of harem and the angel remained as a servent...
Mahidevran is villain in series, not hurrem. Gulnihal would be just like hurrem.
Gulnial also Have Ambition...but He'e know cannot Fight Game in Harem.
No. Gulnihal cheated hurrem. She lied to her. She wanted to become a sultan. Hurrem trusted her completely. Shared all her feelings but Gulnihal backstabbed hurrem.
Ma hide ram has fatima but complain about Gulsah
Hurrem should have shown mahidevran herbplace by saying you can rule harem...not me hurrem the queen consort .i shall take anyone i want at my service
Nur Fetahogly is a bit skiny
People consider her as the most beautiful actress in the show but I don't agree. She has very chiselled features. I like Hurrem and Hatice more.
Mahidevran is good and gorgeous lady but her biggest fault is that she is too much emotional and didn't use her 🧠 .... That's why she remained looser
Busted wicked Mahidevran 🤣 blame on Mahidevran, cry for help with your snake leader
It's just opposite perspective maybe Princess affair with another servant Na tat is illegal but Prince love hurram sema 😂
Ibrahim is troubled because of his personal problems
This is my FAVORITE episode 😂 LOL
I would enjoy this far more if there English were not being covered up by Urdu.
There a button in the cnr open and delete the Turkish turn off and IT won't cover the emglish
@@lilianhaggland2031 Thank you!!
Why everyone tolerates mahidevran... because of mustafa
First to comment, veiw and like. 😁😁😁😁😁

@@juicyfruit382 So what?
Mediterranean should have been punished long time back by the world's emperor but no He never believe s Hurrem such treatment He too gave Hurrem
ibrahim made me laugh lol
Закон Фатиха и рассорил женщин!!
And mahi said she wasn’t a killer … yeah , yeah sure that true 😂😂😂. She was more than a killer killing more than two people is a serial killer for sure. Argue with your mama
Double slapp xD
Сулейман не особо и умный если честно. Он мог и не отбиваться от Махидевран так уже сильно. Нормальная она была. Хюррем через серию растрепаная ходила, а Махидевран всегда с прической.
Mahidevran was a sinful soul.
Mahidevran
All the women wear kurdish kurmanci cloth
Suleyman 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
BAAAAAAHAAAAAAA
Mahidevran was a fool being first legal wife of Suleiman was not able to understand internal politics....
She was not his wife. Just a concubine who bore a prince
@@shraddha4625 she was indeed his first legal wife
@@satishpawar3737 Nope. You are wrong.
Mahidevran is a slave, hurrem is the only legal wife true haseki sultan.
@@satishpawar3737 Not only that she wasn't legal wife (because it was the rule, sultan's weren't allowed to get married) she wasn't even Süleyman's favorite concubine. She got pregnant and gave birth to a boy. She became a little bit more important when Süelyman's two older sons died and Mustafa became the oldest son.
