This might be a silly question, but is the owner solely responsible for keeping the unit and the pool clean, or do workers come in to clean the pool and the interior?
Hey there, its a perfectly fine question and one that isn't quite addressed when a pool comes with your unit. This unit's pool would be your responsibility to have someone come to maintain it. But if you were to purchase it, you could structure your offer with the developer so that they send someone X times a month to clean/maintain it. When purchasing their top tier units, anything is possible and it doesn't hurt to ask!
Ah unfortunately they wont let you change the tint (the building doesn't want it to look different from the outside). But they do have motorized blinds throughout. Not really the same, but its a bit better than nothing I suppose
It was a bit high but there were other penthouses nearby that surprisingly went for 20 mil. To be honest though, I don't think ocean front is that great as there's a lot of homes falling into the ocean and having structural issues due to the fact that Hawaii doesn't allow residents to make or repair sea walls 🤦♂️ it's one of the weirdest things done by the State
@@JonathanPang You mean Kingdom of Hawai'i, is the actual real, legal name of this geography. You need to check international law, which is federal law under the U.S. Constitution.
Ya there's definitely pros and cons for everything. Sure the view is nice but imagine if you're afraid of heights or the power goes out and you need to take the stairs 😂
I don't understand why anyone would pay that much for a condo in Hawaii. Isn't the point of living in Hawaii to have your own house on the beach? (If you're rich)
Hey John, ah yes I'd say most people would definitely want that house on the beach. These Penthouse condos are mainly for those people who just want the convenience of just locking their door and being able to travel and not have to worry about the roof, pipes, landscaping, and all the other small nuances that go into owning a single family home. Or it could simply be for those odd balls who don't like the beach but like to be able to see it and have extra amenities right down the elevator
@@johnholst or it could simply be those super rich people that have more money than they know what to do with it. All I know is that I'd definitely want to be their friend to be able to hang out there haha
haha there's nothing wrong with that. At the end of the day it's whatever makes you happy. There's always gonna be those trolls that tell you that you can get other things but you just gotta live life the way you want to
Great spot.
Amazing grat my freind
Awesome video, Jonathan!

좀 가격이 내렸네요.멋저요^^
Being on that beach but not having a view of Diamondhead is a deal breaker.
Ya unfortunately you'd have to buy the other grand penthouse on the east side to see Diamond Head
THAT'S your deal breaker? I would have thought the fact that you don't have 15 million dollars would have done it.
Haha ya that's probably the deal breaker for most people
Seems like a great price. Probably $20MM now.
I love this Beautiful House in Honolulu Hawaii

There's still 1 available and I'm sure the other one next door may be open to selling ;)
Can you rent this place nightly? I'd love to stay there!
Unfortunately no, its not zoned for short term rentals :(

I just spotted Jack Lord aka Steve McGarrett on the roof top. Play that Hawaii 5-O them song.
Haha I saw that too Doug! They supposedly filmed a whole bunch of scenes up there

Oh, Im sold for the view; but would pull the curtains down; if a storm is coming.
Can you tint the windows to block the some sun

Nice views, but not ocean front per $15M. Overpriced!

I don't think I want to live that far off the ground.
