i do'nt know how i ended up here. i am not a kpop fan. but i respect the art and work. and i feel sorry for all of them having to hide their life, keep everything secret. to keep these images of being the perfect woman or man. that must be so exhausting. having to hide your relationships cause fans will be upset they can't claim you.

something that i find crazy is how everytime taehyungs dating scandal was brought up, it seemed like it was definitely planned before😭 the paris rumors to hype up ‘the idol’, jennie posting the pictures literally the week of jung kooks solo debut, and the unconfirmed break up of a unconfirmed relationship right after it was announced bp renewed their contracts. it was definitely media play by yg mostly, this is why fans need to trust their favs more than chasing after rumors

Almost everything is hella ridiculous but the brands boicot is kind of a double edged weapon, I’m not sure about the reasons for doing that like I don’t know what’s going on with those brands so I have no comments about it (I would actually like to know why are they getting cancelled) but I do have to say that some idols are forced to promote certain brands cause the management team of the agency is the one in the control of what they can or cannot promote, and sometimes they were already promoted by the brand so is not like they can break a contract easily without getting a huge demand. So especially if those brands are getting a huge backlash they will go even more further with the promotion of their products and they can’t control it, some idols are actual consumers of brands, for example Jisoo of blackpink is a fan of Starbucks and she’s been promoting that brand for a long time now, I’m not sure if she’s getting paid for it but she does consume it, and I’m sure those type of idols that are extra famous are not aware of those brands issues since I didn’t myself and a lot of people are not aware of that, they don’t have much free time and even if they do I don’t think the movement is as big in Korea for them to do some research about it
