I'm totally disagree with you. This have many excuses and people like you need to stop judge if you doesn't know anything. 1. Blackpink in this 2 years as a group had a hiatus but they didn't have a vacation how you all think. Rose in 2021 debuted solo with 2MVs , Lisa debuted solo`with 2 MVs and had a collaboration. Jisoo debuted as actress in 2022. Jennie filmed as actress in THE IDOL. In 2022 Jisoo prepared for her solo. BP worked solo and a long time they were separated of course that they will not synchronized plus the choreography was changed and they prepared for the new album and comeback just in a few months. They had little time at their disposal and had to work silently, like they learned Shut down choreography at the footage of the MV and didn't sleep at all last days before tour. They also worked with Ryan Tedder(famous producer) for a new album. Ryan Tedder said that he write one of their song and others Bp, but yg didn't let them to put them in their album. They worked a lot. And their comeback was prepared just in a few months, and they wasn't prepared for tour but yg was close to bankruptcy. And mistakes was not that much, just in first days. Also got other injuries when she was filmed in the idol. Jennie is the most hated idol since 2018 this can make her to feel bad and insecure and that hate and criticize make her to being unhappy on stage.
I didn't follow up much about the born pink tour, but I can definitely say that Blackpink didn't practice enough as a group and not just Jennie. I have heard that each member were more focused on their solo work than work as an idol group during their hiatus. Because of that, they wouldn't be able to meet up as much, resulting in poor synchronization on stage. It's more like the management's fault for not clearing enough time for the idols to practice together. Idols aren't super humans either which means that they can't perfectionate each choreography immediately. You may criticize Jennie, but this lack of synchronization can also be applied to all members

Hi there, I attended their night 2 Chicago show for born pink. Jennie was on fire all night long. She gave the best energy of the night, which surprised me because Lisa always puts on a show. I understand clips go viral on social media, but as someone who attended a full length blackpink concert, I can attest to her stage presence. She does experience chronic pain and has explained some days are more difficult than others. she often pushes herself to perform unwell.
The amount of times I see people calling Giselle a dozen. I get so annoyed. But her number one criticism Is the video of her dancing and lipsyncing the N word. Which she apologized for and never did it again, but it's still Brought up in fanwars, Like we're talking about something else why bring this up? Also some other idols don't get attacked for doing the same thing and NOT apologizing. :(

I don't want to defend blackpink, and i will not. But we don't know what happened for them to dance like that. The rest of the tour was fire from the video that i see. So the question is not if they are lazy or not, but what happened for this mess to happen? Like we all know that blackpink are amazing performers, so this thing makes no sense. I've heard from the Born Pink concert. As you said, it's quite confusing as to how they sort of "deteriorated" (?) during the concert. They eventually are able to catch up and stabilize. I'm not sure if there was anything that has to do with their schedule, but I think, like many have said, that they should've practiced more before holding the concert considering how long it's been since they last held activities together as a group. Each of them, from what I remember from their hiatus as a group, look like they've been doing a lot of individual activities so without enough practice during the hiatus, I don't think they can synch well... All to say, I think Blackpink may need to practice more until they are sure they can synch with each other well on stage

Unless the schedule/tour is too overbooked but thats another issue, not "laziness". This isn't just an idol thing. Many musicians get dragged if they put on a lazy performance. Look up "frank ocean coachella" if you want a recent high profile example, but its not rare. Fans travel from around the world and spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to see musicians when they go on tour. It really isnt the time to phone in a performance. Fans dont want to roll the dice when they spend their own money attending the show "I hope they can be bothered putting on a decent performance today". It is the artists obligation not to overbook or overwork themselves to the point of putting on a bad performance- the audience cant control that only the artist can. If we wanna compare it to normal jobs, if someone paid you to paint their house but you do a completely shit job "I was tired, I already painted 3 other houses today" is not an excuse. Dont accept a job you cant do. If you are working some office job for example and drastically fail to meet a deadline, "sorry Boss, I felt like phoning this one in" is not an excuse. In the week you had to work on the task you can be lazy at multiple points, I'm not saying you should work 24/7. But when it comes to the final product, failing to deliver it not acceptable. You say its like everyone does at their job, if you fail to deliver your main responsibility at most jobs, you are gonna be let go. For Blackpink's 1st Day if u look at it Humanly the main reason of that some seconds mistakes comes out to be: * Nervousness as Normal Humans. I saw there BPM of Seoul Concert, they were Nervous on 1st day which is Normal for a Group Performing Live concert after 2.5 Years in front of 20k people. * 2ndly Change in Choreography. When i went to Their Concert, i noticed they Entirely changed Choreos of songs like Crazy over u and others, which can Get them to Become Confuse as Humans. * Let's be Honest, i think BP r not the 1st group who committed Mistakes In Concert but the Hate They got for those Seconds was Very Inhumane.

The first few shows are always a bit weaker because everyone's rusty, and the end of a tour is weak because people get exhausted. I feel like this is not understood in kpop. Live shows equal completely normal human mistakes. In western pop music, a mistake on stage is funny and gets a laugh even from the artist themselves, but when a kpop idol does it they get crucified and can never live it down.

I have a healthy issue that makes me loose my balance easily, I can't zhJe my head or flip my hair without getting dizzy and bad, maybe wony have some similar issue, I dont think its bad or a crime not flip the hair during thedance

For Giselle, look at her dance practice for DRAMA. Her skills improved a lot. Her dancing in this era is so darn clean, I almost can't believe that's Giselle dancing. I think it is perfectly okay to "be lazy" dancing when you are trying to keep your outfit intact(keep on shoes, keep on loose accessories) , trying to sing on top of dancing (this takes so much stamina for even 1 song, imagine a 2hour concert). "they are lip syncing" okay I want you to dance while lip syncing a 3minute song right now and tell me how well you did. Did you mouth perfectly? Jennie has the lowest stamina out of the four members of her group so she needs to blend and rest for a couple of secs during long hours of dance and singing. As of the ankle injury, the ankle is really fragile so once you break it, it's hard to continue in the same way as you are during your prime. I can only say A for putting up with all the hate and still trying to deliver her best for the fans despite how problematic her body can cause her

A lot of these are ridiculous but there as some cases where it is clear to see that these idols are slacking off and there will never be an excuse for that bc it is their job at the end of the day.
let's keep in mind that their "job" isn't a 9-5 but can demand up to 24 hours of their day sometimes. they may feel too tired to dance their best but exert enough effort to still perform despite the low energy they get from diet and poor sleeping schedules.

The hate that Sulli received makes me really angry. If you watch the entire performance, you can tell she seemed unwell and even a bit dizzy after making some sharp movements. Back then, she was losing weight constantly because of the comments about her body. She is human, not a robot.
I hope now that blackpink seems refreshed with their solo contracts being not with yg, all the members will get better and gain their passion again because for the heck they are amazing performers and the only issue is that they just don't use those abilities. Most of the idols here aren't even lazy, I mean Winter's dancing is anything but lazy, she does everything robotically (which is like saying she does everything correctly and neatly), Wonyoung isn't even the closest thing to being lazy because that girl's energy isn't even that low, Lia's energy is low due to her being anemic, we don't even know what's her level of anemia because the higher it is, the likely she is to faint, Yeri isn't lazy, she's been improving a lot lately, she even got to dance alongside Seulgi in their latest comeback
Not only has Lia improved, but she has anemia which she stated once which made it hard to keep up. Additionally, she wasn't trained in dance the way the other members were, and sometimes it comes easier to one person than another. But I'm glad she's back from her hiatus now!

My thing with blackpink is, they had two years to prepare what? You see how Jennie been had You and Me SINCE FOREVER and YG didn't let her release it until recently. 1. Blackpink in this 2 years as a group had a hiatus but they didn't have a vacation how you all think. Rose in 2021 debuted solo with 2MVs , Lisa debuted solo`with 2 MVs and had a collaboration. Jisoo debuted as actress in 2022. Jennie filmed as actress in THE IDOL. In 2022 Jisoo prepared for her solo. BP worked solo and a long time they were separated of course that they will not synchronized plus the choreography was changed and they prepared for the new album and comeback just in a few months. They had little time at their disposal and had to work silently, like they learned Shut down choreography at the footage of the MV and didn't sleep at all last days before tour. They also worked with Ryan Tedder(famous producer) for a new album. Ryan Tedder said that he write one of their song and others Bp, but yg didn't let them to put them in their album. They worked a lot. And their comeback was prepared just in a few months, and they wasn't prepared for tour but yg was close to bankruptcy. And mistakes was not that much, just in first days. Also got other injuries when she was filmed in the idol.
Jennie is the most hated idol since 2018 this can make her to feel bad and insecure and that hate and criticize make her to being unhappy on stage.
I didn't follow up much about the born pink tour, but I can definitely say that Blackpink didn't practice enough as a group and not just Jennie. I have heard that each member were more focused on their solo work than work as an idol group during their hiatus. Because of that, they wouldn't be able to meet up as much, resulting in poor synchronization on stage. It's more like the management's fault for not clearing enough time for the idols to practice together. Idols aren't super humans either which means that they can't perfectionate each choreography immediately. You may criticize Jennie, but this lack of synchronization can also be applied to all members

Hi there, I attended their night 2 Chicago show for born pink. Jennie was on fire all night long. She gave the best energy of the night, which surprised me because Lisa always puts on a show. I understand clips go viral on social media, but as someone who attended a full length blackpink concert, I can attest to her stage presence. I've heard from the Born Pink concert. As you said, it's quite confusing as to how they sort of "deteriorated" (?) during the concert. They eventually are able to catch up and stabilize. I'm not sure if there was anything that has to do with their schedule, but I think, like many have said, that they should've practiced more before holding the concert considering how long it's been since they last held activities together as a group. Each of them, from what I remember from their hiatus as a group, look like they've been doing a lot of individual activities so without enough practice during the hiatus, I don't think they can synch well... All to say, I think Blackpink may need to practice more until they are sure they can synch with each other well on stage

It doesn't make them bad people or bad idols or unworthy of our love and attention, but sometimes they get lazy! They aren't lazy all the time - it's like there's no room for nuance in kpop. to a degree yes. But the occasional practice session is your chance to be lazy, on the night of a performance you should be giving 100%, no excuses. Or maybe we cut them some slack and say 90%. Maybe they don't have the energy to put on a show in every live stream and every variety show. But I think you can expect them to put in the full effort for the stage. Unless the schedule/tour is too overbooked but thats another issue, not "laziness".
This isn't just an idol thing. Many musicians get dragged if they put on a lazy performance. Look up "frank ocean coachella" if you want a recent high profile example, but its not rare. Fans travel from around the world and spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to see musicians when they go on tour. It really isnt the time to phone in a performance. Fans dont want to roll the dice when they spend their own money attending the show "I hope they can be bothered putting on a decent performance today". It is the artists obligation not to overbook or overwork themselves to the point of putting on a bad performance- the audience cant control that only the artist can.
If we wanna compare it to normal jobs, if someone paid you to paint their house but you do a completely shit job "I was tired, I already painted 3 other houses today" is not an excuse. Dont accept a job you cant do.
If you are working some office job for example and drastically fail to meet a deadline, "sorry Boss, I felt like phoning this one in" is not an excuse. In the week you had to work on the task you can be lazy at multiple points, I'm not saying you should work 24/7. But when it comes to the final product, failing to deliver it not acceptable. You say its like everyone does at their job, if you fail to deliver your main responsibility at most jobs, you are gonna be let go.
Compare it to school, sure you can be lazy and take an afternoon off studying, everyone does that. But there are certain times when you cannot phone it in. For Blackpink's 1st Day if u look at it Humanly the main reason of that some seconds mistakes comes out to be:
* Nervousness as Normal Humans. I saw there BPM of Seoul Concert, they were Nervous on 1st day which is Normal for a Group Performing Live concert after 2.5 Years in front of 20k people.
* 2ndly Change in Choreography. When i went to Their Concert, i noticed they Entirely changed Choreos of songs like Crazy over u and others, which can Get them to Become Confuse as Humans.

In western pop music, a mistake on stage is funny and gets a laugh even from the artist themselves, but when a kpop idol does it they get crucified and can never live it down.

For Giselle, look at her dance practice for DRAMA. Her skills improved a lot. Her dancing in this era is so darn clean, I almost can't believe that's Giselle dancing. I think it is perfectly okay to "be lazy" dancing when you are trying to keep your outfit intact(keep on shoes, keep on loose accessories) , trying to sing on top of dancing (this takes so much stamina for even 1 song, imagine a 2hour concert). "they are lip syncing" okay I want you to dance while lip syncing a 3minute song right now and tell me how well you did. Did you mouth perfectly? The hate that Sulli received makes me really angry. If you watch the entire performance, you can tell she seemed unwell and even a bit dizzy after making some sharp movements. Back then, she was losing weight constantly because of the comments about her body. She is human, not a robot.

I hope now that blackpink seems refreshed with their solo contracts being not with yg, all the members will get better and gain their passion again because for the heck they are amazing performers and the only issue is that they just don't use those abilities. Most of the idols here aren't even lazy, I mean Winter's dancing is anything but lazy, she does everything robotically (which is like saying she does everything correctly and neatly), Wonyoung isn't even the closest thing to being lazy because that girl's energy isn't even that low, Lia's energy is low due to her being anemic, we don't even know what's her level of anemia because the higher it is, the likely she is to faint, Yeri isn't lazy, she's been improving a lot lately, she even got to dance alongside Seulgi in their latest comeback
Hasn't it been exposed what idols go through. Fans should be more concerned about whats going on behind the scenes to these idols.
Not only has Lia improved, but she has anemia which she stated once which made it hard to keep up. Additionally, she wasn't trained in dance the way the other members were, and sometimes it comes easier to one person than another. But I'm glad she's back from her hiatus now!

My thing with blackpink is, they had two years to prepare what? You see how Jennie been had You and Me SINCE FOREVER and YG didn't let her release it until recently. So if they already had the album prepared they didn't worry bout as much. But they were actually rushed to start the tour. Without giving them more time to prepare and perfect the dances. They even accused jisoo instead of the back up dancer for doing the wrong move and saying that jisoo messed it up. People are so quick to spread false information but slow to see what actually happened.

I think the reason why blackpink was uncoordinated was because Lisa always dance energetic and no hate to Lisa but I feel like she should have tried more to be in sync with the other members cause since she dance’s energetic it throws of the whole group coronation in my opinion
