Fun fact: Ghoster Coaster used to be themed to Scooby Doo back in the early days of the park. When Paramount Studios bought the park they had to drop the Scooby Doo license but kept the ghost theme.
The secret to enjoying Wooden coasters is DO NOT brace your back against the seat. If you lean forward slightly, the ride magically becomes smoother. Nothing like the roar of a wooden coaster and being lifted off your seat in the quick hills.
When I was younger i always called the Mine Buster, the Mind Buster. My parents would correct me but now that I am a parent, it is still the Mind Buster to me. Wooden coasters are a rigid ride.
Welcome to Canada! Glad you enjoyed your time at Wonderland. Wonderland seems to add a new coaster every year these days! Hope this won't be your last trip!!
I LOVED watching this. Being my home park and I worked there as a ride operator for 2 summers just out of high school. So many cool memories. I remember when Flight Deck (used to be called Top Gun when Paramount owned it) it was the biggest coaster there and everyone ran to it first when the park opened. It wasn't as bad back then, not sure what happened. Still love this park, though and glad you had a blast!
Flight Deck used to be a lot smoother, back when it was still called Top Gun. Used to love it. Now it just gives me a headache. The ride is nearly 30 years old of course.
I'm so glad you loved Leviathan. it's still one of my Faves, though i do like Yukon Stryker a little more. Behemoth is boring its that whole slow turn multiple times sigh it start so much better than it ends.
Just found your channel! I am on my 10th visit to Wonderland just this summer. I happen to live close. it's a great park! Can't wait for alpen furry! You made the right choice by purchasing the fast pass.
If you had known about the opening of AlpenFury next season, would you have waited until next year to visit the park? Also, once AlpenFury opens, will it tempt you to return to the park sooner, or not likely?
@mitchellries256 We still would've visited anyhow... But with the opening of Alpenfury next year, that just makes for another great reason to visit back! :)
Great video review! Been there more times than I can count, and yeah, Leviathan is just about the best coaster anyway (and Yukon Striker). Not a coaster, but Drop Zone is great too.
fun fact, this park used to be called paramount pictures wonderland when I was a kid, owned by the studio itself and the rides were named after their big movies like Italian job and top gun but the park had financial issues and was sold off to another company and had to rename all the rides
Great video! Looks like a really fun park! Leviathan, Yukon Striker, and Behemoth all look great! I think the suspended coaster there looks great too! I enjoyed watching this!
This was really put together well. Show cases my home park well. I would love to see a water park comparison series by you one day! Wonderlands water park is decent and growing fast. I would be curious to see how it compares to others.
When I rode Flight Deck for the first time, it was really uncomfortable. Couldn’t keep my eyes open either but hey, new 2024 cred for me!! As for the other coasters, Taxi Jam was my first childhood coaster so it’s always gonna have a special place in my heart. Snoopy’s is really well themed and a fun coaster as well!! Yukon beats all though (at least for me). Leviathan’s close behind it. Enjoyed this second part of the vlog though!! Sledgehammer’s actually a one of a kind flat ride.
Thanks for watching!! Really enjoyed this park! While there's a few not so amazing rides like Flight Deck, this park still has an amazing coaster collection! 🎢
@KatiesCoasters Most of the time, I went to the Haunt in October & Winter fest in December. Haunt has live actors walking around the park along with many scary mazes. Winter fest has people singing christmas songs, baking with Mrs.Claus, live shows & skating on the pond by the entrance

Same here It's the only reason why I'm going next year
Welcome to Toronto! Glad you had fun. Can't wait for your review of the new coaster next year. :)

OMG I swear that is why my wife goes to Wonderland. Bringing the kids is an excuse.
The year Wonderland opened, the Ghoster Coaster was my first roller-coaster ride ever! It is also the first for all three of my kids.
That's awesome!!

@andrewcotton5971 Thanks!! It's such a great park with amazing rides! Yukon Striker is so good, too!
Should’ve rode Wind Seeker! It’s one of my favourite chill rides at Canadas Wonderland
Love those rides! Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to ride it this visit. Maybe next time!

The best flat ride collection of any park
So agree!!
Are you coming back to do Alpenfury?
I sure plan to! 😊
