I went 1st week of june, and fast lane was so worth the extra cost, being able to hit all the main coasters and flat rides made for an exceptional experience.
If you want to exit the parking lot faster at the end of a busy night, the fastest exit is located in the middle of the parking lot which exits strait to Avro Rd on the same side of Jane st. The exit shows up on google maps but not on the apple maps.
I go to the Mountain Refresh almost everyday at the park and there is no line ups. Also I have another strategy. Every Friday and Sunday, Canada’s Wonderland has Early ride times for Season Pass holders. These Early ride times change each Friday and Sunday. Sometimes it could be Leviathan area, Behemoth area, Yukon Striker area, Vortex area, Kidzvile area and Planet Snoopy. When I went to Leviathan for it’s early ride time on Canada day the longest wait time is 15 minutes. If you have a Season Pass you should go to these early ride times and would skip hours of waiting without a Fast Lane Plus. Plus these early ride times are also in Splash Works, every day Splash Works is open it has early ride times. It would also skip hours of waiting, especially for Super Soker.
I saw what may be a great trick when leaving the park on Canada Day afternoon; People parked AS FAR FROM THE PARK ENTRANCE AS POSSIBLE. Yes, it's a long walk back to your car, BUT... your car is RIGHT by the exit. Though I'm sure it depends on how quickly you can get there too. P.S. Sorry to hear about the mental health stuff kicking up again. Hope the new day job is going well, and hope to catch you at the park again sometime soon.
8:49 - regarding the traffic that nothing that Canada's Wonderland can do, that is a result of car dependency and all the stroads in and out, and I highly recommend watching Not Just Bikes for that. That said, European and Asian theme parks with decent transit access is such a breeze to visit without all the stress that comes with driving. Take the bus to Canada's Wonderland if you can, the YRT 20 goes straight from Pioneer Village Station and it's not a long ride.
What’s the best weekday to go for a first timer that’s not an Ontario local? One (me) thrills for the big rides and others in the group are not. Group can’t afford the fast pass. May go once or twice

I went back in May when it was less busy and even tho I got my first ride of the day on Leviathan, I went to Vortex right after and it was a walk on, though I did have a fast lane there was still a surprising amount of rides with nobody there, and EVERYONE was flocked to thunder run, especially busy since there’s no fats lane for it that I know of but the line was huge

season pass is great, im at 11 visits already .... the park itself is busy but cedar point was crazier than any of my wonderland visits but omg the lineup or pile to get in is crazy. i filled out the survey just to let them know
The line ups have me rethinking renewing passes. We went on opening day and we haven’t been back since, especially in this heat! Our desire is to go again but you have to pay an arm and a leg to get into a line that that is growing bigger, don’t know if it’s worth it.
It just depends all major cedar fair parks are that way but ya gotta time hitting big rides like evenings mornings lunch time dinner time it all depends and when kids are off school that doesn’t help lol

It depends. Come sept/Oct everyones carried over season passes will expire so it might make it easier. Also with Halloween haunt going on most people might skip the park in the day to go at night.
do you think that water playground at the great America California will come come to splash works at canada"s when they close that park in USA because the current playgrounds at water park in wonderland are quite small and older out dated and most water parks have big playgrounds and some times multiple playgrounds that are different sizes
If you only go once a year, I suggest going on Father's Day. The park is usually dead from 10AM until around 1PM and doesn't start getting busy until 2PM or later.
You didn't stop infront of me or you'd wait for remainder of line then employee would tell you to kick rocks cause I'd make sure...I won't even shoot an evil eye your way.....want line jumpers to waste their time then get screwed over as much as you are screwing over everyone you jump infront of

I was at Canada's Wonderland I myself didn't really or don't use the boarding pass for people with disabilities even though it gets suggested to me by ride attendence. Anyway I went with an orginization for those with disabilities I got there and we did have a person who did have to use a wheelchair so what happened was thatthe staff that was supporting people didn't know and the head boss didn't tellthem that this wheelchair person would need a boarding pass but even I told them they would need boarding pass and they ansisted they didn't need it. we got her on two rides but they wouldn't let her on the fly without it. So message to those is you need to get that boarding pass if you take somebody who needs a wheel chair that day of your visit. guest services can be found at the front of the park. and I don't think you talked about tips for those with disabilities though some parks not sure if wonderland did it but if some had not sure if wonderland had quiet rooms for otism or sencery goes or not as a quiet space i think we shouldn't for get to give tips about bring somebody with a disability in.

This turned out to be both a good and bad thing as doing both Behemoth and Yukon Striker twice within an hour made me a bit queasy. Guess I don't have the coaster stamina that I used to have.

We have bought a few day pass Fast Lane. If buy them when they go on sale for the season say in August will they be good for the remainder of this season as well? I was there July 2 this year as the park was not crazy busy and I had a fast pass so i was able to ride a lot... ride operations for the rides were terrible with dispatching trains at the 3-5min mark per train for leviathan was ridiculous and the rest of the parks operates were doing there own thing talking on phones and what not w and getting raw chicken were My disappointments this year no crew of the year this year
My girlfriend and I are season pass holders and its her birthday this Sunday the 10th. I am getting some of her friends to surprise her at the park but I am stressed as I am not sure if they ar going to want to buy the fastlane for the day. But my girlfriend and I are. Just because of the costs
If Flight Deck and Time Warp disappeared tomorrow I would not complain at all. But the good news is that if the pain is too much, Cortellucci Hospital is within walking distance.
4:43 that is an odd comment, why would you not drink pop at the park in a water bottle? Esp this year (they stopped using the plastic refill bottles which at least had lids instead switching to tiny paper cups). 5:15 its not really "every 15 minutes" since most days the drink stands are closed / unstaffed or (worse) you wait 20 mins in line to scan the card, walk over and the machine is empty (except the 2 or 3 horrible drinks noone wants). I have even seen Coke that is out of syrup and tastes so nasty you just throw it away instead of trying to swallow it. 5:30 if they are open the Swing of Century and Fly Refresh stations are by far shortest lines so I disagree with comment on Mountain Refresh. 7:05 payment plans do not work if you are "struggling". You need a GOOD credit score to get one. If you use say a prepay credit card you need pay all up front. 9:14 hope everything gets better man.
You absolutely do not need "good credit" to get a payment plan. I got three seasons passes for myself and my two kids at the end of September and I pay $24 a month with a terrible credit score. I ordered online on the website and we've already used them 4 times since September. Going again on Sunday 😁
@@chawwwnie original comment still stands. If your credit score is poor you are using a prepaid credit card hence impossible to use a payment plan. You need a medium / average rating to get even a basic store issue card. The online portal is very picky with which cards they support for payments.

Even if Wildebeast was running rough, you still have nice padding and a totally free upper body. It's Flight Deck and the Bat that really rattle you!

Befor going one a big ride when you just ate you will throw up and get sick for a couple minutes and you usually get hungry again
