How it's possible that every parody is different yet they're all just like every Hallmark plot?

So formulaic.
Except for the songs and the musical part of this one lol.
Because even non-Hallmark Christmas movies are the same? xD
Because every Hallmark movie follows the same format but has differences.
And basically, because they just change the names in each one and change the small things, like different characters along the way.
And in this one they made it a musical.
Why was that last song actually really good... and this musical was literally sooo accurate 💀 😂 🤣

Penn, that last song is lyrically nonsense, but still so amazing and awesome! I've always joked that I'm a sucker for a good sound track....you just proved it. Because I loved that !

I really love that they (apparently, hopefully) hired a local actress to do Kim's singing. Not only is that super sweet but it's got to be incredibly helpful to her financially at the end of a year full of theatre closures. Also, that woman's singing is PHENOMENAL and I absolutely loved listening to it.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how talented Kim and Penn are? Like they actually wrote these songs and preformed them for our enjoyment. How does this no have more views? You guys are killin it just saying ❤️❤️❤️

These make my day. My dad passed in October and his favorite thing in the entire world were the hallmark movies. I know he would get a kick out of these.

I was so excited that Kim was singing. I was like, “Wow, she sounds great. Why hasn’t she sung in a video before?” Then, I watched the end of the video. A little sad that wasn’t really Kim. Your acting made up for it though. Kind of made me think of Ricky Bobby’s “I don’t know what to do with my hands.” We love you guys so much. The whole family watches together.

That was fantastic! Then the support for the arts made me tear up. I'm a company member with a Chicago theatre and we are all struggling right now. Not knowing when we'll get to do what we love again hurts so much.
When Kim started singing like an angel I was like, "Dang Penn, You really put your back into the Auto-Tune on this one for Kim! WTG!" (Kim knows she doesn't have a singing gift neither do I. We both wish) When the reveal happened at the end it was a pleasn't surprise. Especially when I just read The Carolina Theater was shutting down for 6 months to try and stay solvent. Great job!

Now that' I've seen the title of your video, I can't believe that these movies aren't musicals! It seems like exactly the next move that they would make, although, I think that might drive production costs up a bit from the plug-and-play formula we all know so well. Our podcast just released our Christmas episode about the absurd amount of these movies (76 new movies between just Hallmark and Lifetime this year!). But what you have done here is brilliant!
