They've been building up the main cast taking an L here and that scares me. But as long as Steve, Joyce, Will and Murray make it out, I'll be okay. Hopefully Will finally confesses to Mike too, since they seem to still be together in this trailer. And hopefully Vecna stays away from him, since he's basically a trauma parade on legs after all the stuff in his life.
I think they lose the battle. Throughout the whole season I've seen parallels to Star Wars, which makes sense because Star Wars was very prominent in the 80's. Now hear me out: Season 4, and specifically 11, is directly paralleling Empire Strikes Back. The opening of this trailer shows Brenner telling her that she isn't ready, however she seemingly doesn't care and wants to help her friends. This is exactly what happened with Luke. He left his training early, despite Yoda advising him not to, to go save his friends. He then proceeds to lose to Vader. I think El will go help her friends but evidently lose, then willingly return to complete her training with Brenner, having season 5 be a Return of the Jedi inspired comeback for El.
I love pretty much our entire massive cast, but I hope we do get some permanent deaths this finale and that these final episodes will be devastating. They only just fully introduced Vecna/001, and I don't imagine they're getting rid of him this easily and that he might be the final big bad of the show.

Finally saw a decent explanation by Screenrant about the plot hole of 008 saying “when I went to the rainbow room and you were gone..” implying 11 escaped first, but, maybe 11 got separated into the “telekinetic” group instead of the “mind control/illusion” group.
Thats exactly what happened. They seperated them into at peast 2 batches that we are aware of now, telekinetic/clairvoyant which eleven was part of and 008's mindcontrol/illusions group
i have a bad feeling, cuz joe quinn (actor of eddie) said that the ending of vol 2 is absolute carnage, relentless just stress and cry's, so i think that maybe everyone will die, except the cour 4, mike, el, dustin and lucas.. then in season 5 they will find out a way to undo vecnas curse and ultimately defeat vecna and the mind flayer once and for all.. but holy shit, i cant wait for this.

Going on dustins theory yes the mind flayer rules the upside down and is vecna is his 5 star general but maybe vecna didn’t have a choice single he was trapped in his world but just because u work for someone doesn’t mean you have the same intentions or agenda i think both the mind flayer n vecna want to rule in there own way but as of right now vecna is forced to bow at least from what ive seen or think as being apart of the audience. Soo if you know anything about star wars lore then you know about the rule of 2 basically will is vecnas secret apprentice n always has been. Remember the scene in season 4 were they bury the cop n will n mike talk him saying “I think it’s scary to tell the people u care about how u really feel cause what if they don’t like the truth” thats not him coming out as gay its him as gay its him tryna come out as a traitor the cast were asked to describe this season with one word they used “traitor” but why would will be a bad guy maybe its not out of anger on his friends or family but on the world for treating him as a outcast n if he has the power to reshape the world why wouldn’t he do it wouldn’t any of us. But I don’t think will has fully went through with that choice yet. But all he rlly would need is something to set him off like in star wars it was anakins mother who really started his path to the darkside n palpatines manipulation so maybe someone he loves dies to set him off and honestly its gotta be joyce or johnatan the people we least expect n sure he loves his friends but those are the only two that would rlly set him off specifically his mom thats my best guess theres no love like a mothers love joyce is the only one who’s been there for him 100% of the time. But back to the rule of 2 lets say the current sith lord is the mind flayer and vecna is the current apprentice but secretly has a apprentice will there can only be 2 hence the rule of 2 n why the mind flayer has been after will so bad or maybe will is just special everyone needs him for something that nobody knows yet. Just know if joyce or johnatan dies hes going full darth vader mode but I think joyce is 100% gonna die.but i have a feeling wills painting isn’t for mike its gotta be castle byers in sum shape or form or something to do with dnd something to do with how he sees the world reshaped fit in his image.
You two did a great job . I’ve been really looking at this 2nd trailer and I’m very worried about Max . I’d be really bummed out if she gets axed but I think it’s coming. I think that’s who they’re all trying to rescue. I also think Steve is a good possibility but the one I think may really get it is will . And then you two may both be right and nobody dies . I think Will saw something in the upside down he’s been keeping to himself the whole time and reveals it to his brother in that scene. It’s very possible he saw the others from the future back when he was trapped down there as it’s been stuck in 83’ . I don’t think it’s him coming out it’s something else. 11 would be the shock of all shocks if she died and Dustin would be way too much for all of us . Evidently 11 is going to be needing resuscitation from something and that could be a clue . But sad to say I think it’s Max which kills me because she’s one of favorites.
The more i think , This season is top notch horror . Lol Last Horror show , that made me feel uncomfortable was midnight mass. Actually the last thing that scary was Boba Fett disappearing out of his own show for 2 Episodes. Or the script for Dr Strange 2.
The clips of them riding inside the camper remind me of The Walking Dead episode "Last Day on Earth" 😢 My heart can't handle this! I love all of the characters so much! I can't imagine losing any of them =(
steve, robin or max i'd say eddie is likely too but he did an interview saying he wants to work with charlie heaton next season and i think stranger things has done enough of the whole 'introduce a character in this same season they are killed off' also something concerning me is noah said there will be deaths with an 'S' meaning more people will die, maybe it will be people we don't care about like 'the devil is in hawkins' kid but who knows i don't know why they would kill will now with so little material he's done, i think he'll have a huge role in season 5 which is why season 3/4 he's been taking more of a backseat because he CAN, technically it all started with him and el so i feel it needs to end with him and el nancy has unresolved stuff with jonathan, i don't think she'll die this season, maybe next but not this season i also think she's likely to be alive just because it's always the writers/journalists who survive to tell the story
It’s Eddie I think. A lot of people have said, the part where Dustin is crying and screams something, you have to listen hard because the music beat kicks in, but he screams “Eddie”

This was phenomenal. I don’t think El is ready. I hate Brenner, I really do, but he knows her powers and how strong she is because he’s seen first hand how powerful 001 is, and I think he does know, 001 is Vecna, but El doesn’t know that he knows, but he had to neutralize 001’s powers and he believes he’ll win. This fight won’t be won, they’ll be loss, (if we lose Steve, I’ll be absolutely heartbroken) Robin saying “I have a terrible feeling about this, we may not make it this time” for Robin to say that? My heart dropped and I just sobbed. This song, man, this song came out when I was 5 and in my teens, I loved it, to hear it come back and to hear it like that with the drums forefront and Kate’s haunting voice, it’s so powerful. The unofficial Stranger Things theme song. Season 5 will be everyone from Russia (I don’t think hopper will see El till season 5) and California and who’s left in Hawkins to end Vecna and the upside down. I had to rewatch this season a second time because I wasn’t sure how I felt about it the first time, rewatching with my daughter, my god, it’s phenomenal, hands down, the best season.
If you look at the clips of max turning off her Walkman and Lucas screaming, it’s the same lighting and it is almost certain that vecna kills max because it appears that he actually MADE max turn it off via mind control and therefore she wouldn’t have anyway of stopping him(so we think)
for the pizzeria i think that Argyle could have does because in the RV we don’t see him, i could be wrong but i’m guessing that is why Will and Jonathan are hugging. if this is true i am going to be devastated!

I kinda wish they didn’t spoil that Nancy obviously survives at least long enough to get away from Vecna where we left off in volume one, but I guess they didn’t initially plan to split the season like this so it probably wasn’t meant to be as big of a cliffhanger
The red lighting indicates that we're in Vecna's mind, but what does the blue light mean? Vecna's voice sounded strange in this, so I'm not sure that it was Vecna, because it sounds so different.
Literally every reactor does that weird head dance when the music kicks in.....Is pulling a goofy face and doing a weird head dance just an American thing in general? Maybe cultural differences or the weird head dance while pulling a funny face is popular in America. It's just funny how it happens without fail and everyone does the same thing lol.

Here’s my theory. Dustin, Lucas, Max, Nancy, Steve, Eddie, Robbin are all going to die. And eleven is going to time travel in season 5 and save everyone. That’s my theory. This season Vecna wins.
Its going to be someone totally unpredictable that will die not necessarily in vecna's hand but more like a sacrifice or something. Most people are looking at steve, eddie, max and nancy as the possible baits but im having a gut feeling that they aren't the ones dying. The duffer brothers definitely planned something big for the finale and its going to be some major twist. I heard them saying that someone from the main cast is going to die. I feel its between mike, lucas, dustin, will and el yk the original ones who started this series.
I know everyone is thinking Justin's screaming scene is very possibly Steve's death. But I'm sitting here praying it's not his mom. They've been showing her alot more and it scares me what could happen if he loses her.
I think nº 008 will back, she has the same power as Vecna, this maybe helps somehow. Will dies and his drawing was just nostalgic related to the D&D group (and a map to kill the vilain on the next season), nothing related to his sexuality. I think Vecna don't die in this season, he will become part of that spider-kinda-shaped main vilain.
I think this season will end with earth becoming the upside down because in this shot 11:31 we see the same dark clouds and red lighting in the real world.
Well from how I took it. 11 created vecna She opend up the upside down world with her powers and put vencna in it hence how is now coming back to destroy everyone
Prediction> Eleven looses her fight with Vecna. Vecna finally kills Max then Lucas back to back. Steve saves Dustin from the demobats, Eddie pulling Dustin away just like when Bob died (hopper and Joyce.) Will has powers (and a haircut hopefully.)
Seriously WHY does everything think Steve is the one to bite the dust. Is it cus he always gets beat up. Eddie has more of a chance to die then Steve cus Eddie is the new likable character and the Duffer Bros love to introduce likeable characters and then kill them (Bob, Barb, Alexi)
I think Brenner will be proven right, much to our chagrin, and El won’t be ready. She’ll be capable, but I think we’ll not only lose one, or more, main characters, but the season will end on a uneven note, as opposed to previous ones. It may not even be a victory for our heroes in any sense! Season 5 will be the Final battle, where everything is on the line for the first time coming, as it does, on the heels of their first big defeat.
What if the real war coming/the reason Hawkins will fall, isn't Vecna? I would not be surprised to see a big finale where everyone works together (through a few losses like maybe Eddie) to defeat Vecna and it works, only for moments later, Mind Flayer invades Hawkins all like "PSYCH!" and then all of Hawkins gets sucked into the Upside Down, as if Vecna's death sort of was a catalyst for that. It would still tie up Season 4 into some sort of complete story arc so it's rewatchable on its own, but still fulfills the promise of not resolving everything like past seasons and really sets up an exciting Season 5. With the Mind Flayer and mysteries of the Upside Down still out there and with all the huge runtime they've devoted to the finale, I really can't see them just having Season 4 end with this season's big story threads unresolved. Despite what the Duffers said, they need to have some degree of closure, even if it's a lot more of a "To Be Continued" than past seasons. So I still suspect we're going to complete THIS battle this season. I wouldn't be surprised to see Vecna fall. And then prep us for the final big bad to fight in Season 5.

But then we all know the mind flayer has constantly been after will. Going on dustins theory yes the mind flayer rules the upside down and is vecna is his 5 star general but maybe vecna didn’t have a choice single he was trapped in his world but just because u work for someone doesn’t mean you have the same intentions or agenda i think both the mind flayer n vecna want to rule in there own way but as of right now vecna is forced to bow at least from what ive seen or think as being apart of the audience. Soo if you know anything about star wars lore then you know about the rule of 2 basically will is vecnas secret apprentice n always has been. Remember the scene in season 4 were they bury the cop n will n mike talk him saying “I think it’s scary to tell the people u care about how u really feel cause what if they don’t like the truth” thats not him coming out as gay its him as gay its him tryna come out as a traitor the cast were asked to describe this season with one word they used “traitor” but why would will be a bad guy maybe its not out of anger on his friends or family but on the world for treating him as a outcast n if he has the power to reshape the world why wouldn’t he do it wouldn’t any of us. But I don’t think will has fully went through with that choice yet. But all he rlly would need is something to set him off like in star wars it was anakins mother who really started his path to the darkside n palpatines manipulation so maybe someone he loves dies to set him off and honestly its gotta be joyce or johnatan the people we least expect n sure he loves his friends but those are the only two that would rlly set him off specifically his mom thats my best guess theres no love like a mothers love joyce is the only one who’s been there for him 100% of the time. But back to the rule of 2 lets say the current sith lord is the mind flayer and vecna is the current apprentice but secretly has a apprentice will there can only be 2 hence the rule of 2 n why the mind flayer has been after will so bad or maybe will is just special everyone needs him for something that nobody knows yet. You two did a great job . I’ve been really looking at this 2nd trailer and I’m very worried about Max . I’d be really bummed out if she gets axed but I think it’s coming. I think that’s who they’re all trying to rescue. I also think Steve is a good possibility but the one I think may really get it is will . And then you two may both be right and nobody dies . I think Will saw something in the upside down he’s been keeping to himself the whole time and reveals it to his brother in that scene. It’s very possible he saw the others from the future back when he was trapped down there as it’s been stuck in 83’ . I don’t think it’s him coming out it’s something else.

This was phenomenal. I don’t think El is ready. I hate Brenner, I really do, but he knows her powers and how strong she is because he’s seen first hand how powerful 001 is, and I think he does know, 001 is Vecna, but El doesn’t know that he knows, but he had to neutralize 001’s powers and he believes he’ll win. This fight won’t be won, they’ll be loss, (if we lose Steve, I’ll be absolutely heartbroken) Robin saying “I have a terrible feeling about this, we may not make it this time” for Robin to say that? My heart dropped and I just sobbed. This song, man, this song came out when I was 5 and in my teens, I loved it, to hear it come back and to hear it like that with the drums forefront and Kate’s haunting voice, it’s so powerful. The unofficial Stranger Things theme song. Season 5 will be everyone from Russia (I don’t think hopper will see El till season 5) and California and who’s left in Hawkins to end Vecna and the upside down. I had to rewatch this season a second time because I wasn’t sure how I felt about it the first time, rewatching with my daughter, my god, it’s phenomenal, hands down, the best season.

If you look at the clips of max turning off her Walkman and Lucas screaming, it’s the same lighting and it is almost certain that vecna kills max because it appears that he actually MADE max turn it off via mind control and therefore she wouldn’t have anyway of stopping him(so we think)

I kinda wish they didn’t spoil that Nancy obviously survives at least long enough to get away from Vecna where we left off in volume one, but I guess they didn’t initially plan to split the season like this so it probably wasn’t meant to be as big of a cliffhanger
The red lighting indicates that we're in Vecna's mind, but what does the blue light mean? Vecna's voice sounded strange in this, so I'm not sure that it was Vecna, because it sounds so different.

Its going to be someone totally unpredictable that will die not necessarily in vecna's hand but more like a sacrifice or something. Most people are looking at steve, eddie, max and nancy as the possible baits but im having a gut feeling that they aren't the ones dying. The duffer brothers definitely planned something big for the finale and its going to be some major twist. I heard them saying that someone from the main cast is going to die. I feel its between mike, lucas, dustin, will and el yk the original ones who started this series.
I know everyone is thinking Justin's screaming scene is very possibly Steve's death. But I'm sitting here praying it's not his mom. They've been showing her alot more and it scares me what could happen if he loses her.

I think Brenner will be proven right, much to our chagrin, and El won’t be ready. She’ll be capable, but I think we’ll not only lose one, or more, main characters, but the season will end on a uneven note, as opposed to previous ones. It may not even be a victory for our heroes in any sense! Season 5 will be the Final battle, where everything is on the line for the first time coming, as it does, on the heels of their first big defeat.

What if the real war coming/the reason Hawkins will fall, isn't Vecna? I would not be surprised to see a big finale where everyone works together (through a few losses like maybe Eddie) to defeat Vecna and it works, only for moments later, Mind Flayer invades Hawkins all like "PSYCH!" and then all of Hawkins gets sucked into the Upside Down, as if Vecna's death sort of was a catalyst for that. It would still tie up Season 4 into some sort of complete story arc so it's rewatchable on its own, but still fulfills the promise of not resolving everything like past seasons and really sets up an exciting Season 5.
With the Mind Flayer and mysteries of the Upside Down still out there and with all the huge runtime they've devoted to the finale, I really can't see them just having Season 4 end with this season's big story threads unresolved. Despite what the Duffers said, they need to have some degree of closure, even if it's a lot more of a "To Be Continued" than past seasons. So I still suspect we're going to complete THIS battle this season. I wouldn't be surprised to see Vecna fall. And then prep us for the final big bad to fight in Season 5.
