- Just a little honest talk with the crouch ranch while we are in our room on vacation. We decided to shoot a video that talks to who we are, why we started our channel and what we think of the whole TH-cam experience. We also read a few comments, something we plan to do more of in the future.

Hey Guys. I have watched every one of your videos since day one and may have posted comments on 3 or 4 occasions. It is obvious to anyone that follows y’all that your journey is one of mutual effort and expertise. Regardless of the perceived content from the title or thumbnail of each video, the actual experience of watching always delivers more than anticipated. I also agree that the impromptu “junk drawer” like videos are the best. Love the way you both play off of each other, very entertaining. Keep doing what you do and we’ll keep watching, as much for knowledge as entertainment.

I try to watch all the ad's for the channels that I'm subscribed to. But there are some ad's that are twelve minutes long and by the time it's completed I have forgotten what I was here for. Who doesn't like to look at a beautiful woman they will Never have? I live in a condo in Milwaukee, WI and get to live vicariously through these videos enjoying the outdoors, flying, splitting firewood, taking care of livestock, working with tractors, etc..... Thank You All for allowing us into your homes and lives.

Ok, I'll be honest your wife is beautiful. The first video that showed up was the garlic video. Yes, I did a double take and looked because of her.... and I LAUGHED AND LAUGHED at the video. Then watched more and showed my wife. I've learned a lot from you, and I appreciate that we found you. The information is what someone wanting to homestead needs. It's your channel, do what you want.

Syd, question on cabinet paint. We’re in the middle of painting our cabs, blue grey uppers dark grey lowers. I sand to 220# between primer coats and 550 between final, but still end up with brush strokes on the final. Glidden paint says don’t sand final coat due to the enamel. I’m bummed as I like a smoother finish. How’d you do yours as they look fantastic. Thank you
If you want it looking smooth and not shabby chic then I wouldn’t sand between priming . You will end up with that brushed look . You may want to do a couple coats of the right color primer ( this can vary depending on the type of paint and previous condition of the cupboards) let it dry completely then do your color , dry completely and seal if you want the smooth look. There are special paints simply for cupboards so make sure you got the right kind. Sand well before you prime and it should come out the way you want . Good luck
