I had the first edition and currently the second version. Love them both. Hour + flights (1300 Mah) with right weather conditions. I put my mobius camera onboard for awesome shots. Now there's a hot rod version of the Crescendo. Woo Hoo!

You guys are lucky in that chilly weather, we are near 100 every day and well over 100 next week. I hate heat and will be flying indoors. Drones baby. That is a really nice fast and maneuverable power glider, i love it

I caught the flying bug a couple of weeks ago, just from watching your videos LOL I got myself a HobbyZone Duet and a Rage Super Cub MX. So far I've only flown the Duet with less than stellar results, HOPEFULLY it comes to me and I get better at it. Sorry to ramble on. Keep up the great work 👍👍

As a retired guy I think I would be fine with just 3s for thermaling. May have to upgrade my Radian or Calypso with this. Seems like a really nice plane!
Got my Conscendo Evolution. A gent in UK did a review discussing thing to fix. Pushrods inside pushrod sleeves are stuck causing servo to move both together. Glue the sleeves to airframe after freeing up the pushrods and lubricating them. This adds new level of precision to the aircraft.

Also for people new to hobby like me you should make a video on how to pair this with a radio. Proper procedures and techniques. Not everyone including myself kno much on this. I think it would make for a great video and be very knowledgeable. Ty inadvance!
I got one of those a month ago, really funny to fly both on 2200 mah 3s and 4s. I wish that they made a better system to connect the cables that go to the wings, they can easily obstruct the servos in the fusolage and that's why I never remove the wings. I wish they will make a night conscendo too in the future, would help a lot on scandinavian winter flights.
Xlnt. So glad this came out in 4S. I was looking at a Durafly Excalibur (backordered for months now US warehouse) and this will hopefully be as good or better as a power glider. Thanks for the fun video. Sounds like you were having a fun time. Got mine ordered.

Great video as usual. Is there enough room in the Battery Bay to move a 3s 1300 battery far enough forward to balance it without adding any additional weight. I would like to keep this thing as light as possible. Let me know please. Thanks.

I maidened mine today in windy conditions,it was very hard to bleed of enough speed to land because of the wind gusts. Finally I took it waaaay out and about 450 yards later.....yay it came down

Excellent camera work. Excellent flight characteristics,well flown! Very nice plane,nice elliptical planform,and I dare say,excellent stall characteristics. As long as price is ok I'm gonna get me one of these for sloping,floating around looking for lift,as well as going sick with aerobatics if that gets too boring. Thanks for your efforts,and if I can offer any critique,please show us inside fuselage for space,and maybe a stall or two just to confirm wing drop or any other nasties. (I doubt there are any).

Most fun I’ve ever had on a maiden. 4 batteries later (Two 4s) without a doubt my new “Go To”, first plane out of the truck from now on. Fast, rock solid steady in the wind, agile, easy/simple to recover if you get sideways in a low powered turn. Level the wings, power up and it acts like you meant to be in a nose down, knife-edge, low powered turn. I’m ordering a backup. PNP. You don’t need Safe ever. AS3X was nice in the wind though.

Would be a great race plane
I have had the 2S and 3S version of this plane, it is awesome. I fly my 3S version on 1300ma3S and regularly get 90 minutes of flying thermal hunting with it. I have my timer set to 5 minutes, the timer is slaved to the throttle so I fly for 90 minutes on 5 minutes of prop turning time. I fly as high as I can in 20 seconds cut the throttle and go thermal hunting staying up as long as I can before powering up for another 20 seconds.
Also once you have the plane trimmed properly, hand launching is a breeze, place the plane in safe, give it a gentle toss into the wind slightly nose high, with no power, once the plane is 20 feet away from you add power and climb out.
About the only thing this plane will not do well is land, it just refuses to stop flying. if you are high on final approach and try to push the nose down the plane will accelerate toward the ground, as soon as you release the pressure on the nose to flare you are in ground effect and the plane balloons up 20 feet in the air. It's somewhat easier to land on a windy day when the headwind helps to slow the plane for landing. On really windy days (15-20mph) it is a blast to fly and try to hover or even fly backwards.
Looks like I will need to get the new 4S version to add to my Conscendo fleet.

@@TheRcSaylors I'll definitely use your link when I'm ready to order. I'd like to see you do the power off hand launch and get your feedback on it, I really like it, no need to have a spinning prop close to your face. I've used mine as a trainer in my club, we do a introductory flight program every year with a local scout group, this thing flies so well in safe mode there's no way the scouts can crash it, in fact every scout who has flown it has landed it on their first flight.
You guys should review the redcat racing blackout xte. Its a wonder basher and has got speed for a brushed system. Also has 4wd and is fairly durable i think it would tackle the hill nicely.

So. I was nearly going to by wltoys 959s for about 90aud as my first rc glider.
But as an ex paraglider pilot and avid msfs flyer I wonder if I'll outgrow it too quickly.
Should I look at this for ridge soaring or maybe there's something in between? Thanks :)
This glider is great. Anyone could fly it. It has one problem. The tail of the fuselage. A landing that looks ok can break it at the tail. After my tail broke I put 2 carbon fiber rod in it. My buddy also has the glider. After seeing what happened to my glider he also put rods in his. Does not affect the flight. Like said this is one great glider and I recommend everyone get one.

If I were to get the carbon s plus rtf can I use that transmitter for this plane? I'm a balsa wood glider rc hobby flier from the 70s. This looks amazing to get back into rc. Thanks for the help. I'm planning to get both planes. Not sure if I should get a different transmitter and get the bind and fly. Still learning about the new radios. Thanks for all the teaching you do.
I don't know what tx comes with the carbon plus package so cant comment that way. Most spektrum tx that are packaged in are suitable for single plane use only. If returning to the hobby like you are, I would suggest sinking some money into a spektrum dx7 or greater, multiple model memory, lots of switches etc you can assign for safe select/dual rates and such. My only complaint is a lack of rotary switches on spektrum equipment. In any case, good luck and welcome back to the hobby sir

No I do not. It's not a bad idea to check them before flight, and maybe even add some loctite all over. I do this on many of my planes 😃👍😎⚓

The box for this plane says it’s an advanced plane, and there is a lot online warning against making this your first plane. Ignore it all. I flew a Carbon Cub S+ six times before I flew this plane. I thought this plane was easier to fly than the Carbon Cub S+ so long as you have a big space in which to land it (it doesn’t want to land). Either plane in SAFE mode will likely keep you out of trouble, but with SAFE off, I thought the Carbon Cub S+ got into trouble more quickly than the Conscendo. Also, you can easily fly for 40 minutes on a 3S battery vs. 7 minutes with any regular prop plane.
How much different is this from a FlyZone Rapide?

He isnt the only one acting as r/c salesman for horizon hobby. it works for everyone though. its just a good way to market your product. Guitar companies do it too. they give the youtuber the guitar to demo, they get to keep the guitar, and probably prompt many others to buy. business 101.

Looks awesome! I like it. How does it fly with safe switch on? Would it keep going around in circle at certain height? Is there a unit that comes with led lights? How does it fly with 4s battery?
It flies great with SAFE on. We actually demonstrated that quite a bit in this video. No it wont circle above, that requires a GPS unit, which this does not have. We also flew an entire 4S flight in this video.

Quite an increase in price sense the Conscendo Advance was released, I think I paid $129 for the Advance, great aircraft, one real issue with all of them is that the aileron hinges are weak, I would advise you tape them, especially running a 4s pack in it...

Hi. I have this conscendo also. I binded mine to as DX9 with safe mode. But I can't seem to get it off safe mode so I can do rolls and loops. Any tips on how to do that?
Take a look at the manual: It describes in great detail how to switch the safe on and off
