You get some nice tones with it. 9:44 mario head turned out awesome.
Thanks. Yeah I really like engraving that Mario.
Great video(s). Looking forward to when you share the settings for the mini enclosure.
You can check out the longer version of the enclosure here. Please let me know if you make one and how it worked for you. drive.google.com/file/d/1befRmsaxdYsD5EMpkGzP2zdgGLGwpwKZ/view?usp=sharing
@@BusterBeagle3D I will, thank you for sharing!
After opening the file, I can't fit the pieces on my K40 just due to bed size. I did take your enclosure as inspiration and made a design in Fusion that I can print on my Bambu P1S. Once I get it done, I'll be sure to share. Thank you again for your videos and sharing your enclosure with me even though I couldn't utilize it.
@@CoolBruhDesign Would love to see your design. As for the lightburn file it won't cut all at once on my lasers either. You have to space it out and cut it piece by piece. I just had everything in one file to make sure I didn't forget anything.
@@BusterBeagle3D I'm limited to 216mm x 305mm in my laser :-/
Will the enclosure you designed for the B6 work with the B4? I have a B4 30 and a B4 MOPA 60 and that enclosure would be perfect. I bought the large enclosure and it was basically a bad purchase decision. It’s just too large.
The laser head position and mounting holes are a little different. I did make another one for the B4 which you can find with my video on that machine. It was a little different and didn’t have the front window but that could be added pretty easily.
Thanks for your great video! I checked your video on the B4 60W MOPA Fiber Laser and noticed that it comes with kinda laser shield panel. does the B6 60W MOPA comes with such panel? i noticed that you built an enclosure using this panel for the B6, did you used the panel from the B4 ?
it it does not come with a laser shield, can you suggest an alternative option to buy online?
Great video, does the B6 30w come in the Mopa version?
According to the manual, and again I have a pre-release and potentially different manual, the B6 is supposed to be offered in a 20, 30, and 60W MOPA version as well. Not sure if that is part of the initial Kickstarter but it was at least on the roadmap at some point.
Possibly a dumb question, but I've been playing with Lightburn for about a year and I cannot seem to figure out how to engrave a color photo... without splitting it into various color layers in inkscape/etc first.
Is there any way to feed a color photo into any laser software to burn a full bitmap? Seeing the plethora of colors you were able to get on stainless here makes me think this would be an amazing feature, if it doesn't exist already.
Thank you for the video. Do you mean the machine you get from the kickstarter campaign is different than the machine you get later (at higher price then) ?
No, the machine you get from the Kickstarter campaign may be slightly different then the machine I got since mine was an earlier prototype but they should be the same as the production models sold on their website after the campaign is over. I'm sure it will also probably be a little more expensive on their website after the campaign.
@@BusterBeagle3D Thank you very much. I think I will get a b6 mopa 60w from kickstarter, thanks for the video. Cheers from Dijon (the mustard city).
so is a 60w laser which is 3 times more powerful than a 20w laser essentially mean it is 3 times faster to get something done, more or less?
In a nut shell....yes.
@@BusterBeagle3DOh okay, so theoretically a 20W laser can still deep engrave just as deep into metal, it just requires more time and or lowering the gantry every couple passes or layers? im trying to decide if Xtools new F1 ultra or Laser pecker 5 enough to achieve deep depths or even cut thicker metals
@@the_luminary If you want to engrave metals and thats it go with a 60W machine if you are looking for the material versatility the f1 ultra is really good for that.
I curious... has ComMarker ever sold a single laser? I'm looking at getting one but the dozen or so reviews I've seen are all from makers who have been gifted these machines at no cost.
Many lasers or just products for that matter receive reviews from company provided products. They want it to be reviewed by people with knowledge to how these things work. ComMarker has even reached out to me and told me that they have made changes to their machine based on some of the critiques in my reviews so it’s great they take feedback from them. ComMarker also sells these on Amazon as well as their website so feel free to also read the verified purchase reviews on there.
Hola, puede esta máquina marcar con algo de profundidad en acero? Gracias
I would have love the Mikey file and the color file for stainless steel to try it out with my 60w Mopa if it possible. Can't find the link for it.Thanks and keep up the good work. I learn a lot from your videos. 10:02

do you have any info as to when the b6 will be released to the general public?
I have heard talk of the first week of November for general release but don't quote me.
they are saying that for the omni

Hi
Gentleman.
My name is Marcello I am about to buy the Commarker B4 JPT Mopa 60W for work of engraved in knives coins and weapons in general in.
I would like to make deep engravings 2.5D but perfect for my customers. I also have seen the characteristics of the Commarker M7 Splirt JPT Mopa 60W talk about 3D engravings.
Since you are part of Commarker teaching I ask you to talk about the differences of each machine and which to buy .. to adapt it to my type of work.
I ask at the Commarker B4 JPT Mopa 60W is your work table with all those holes to put screws for serial work (those holes pass to the machine when you are recording and the waste falls into the heart of the machine or between the holes there are A plate that separates everything ...
Also when you make the presentation Commarker B6 60W Mopa Fiber Laser Machine Review | Auto Height Adjustment | Talk about a template to make the protector or machine box. What is the price of that template or is free and where I can lower it.
Thanks for your help.....

The video was scheduled to release at the same time as the Kickstarter. It must have not released on time. It should work now.
You could use the laser as a weapon, as a gun. 😮
Fail to see the upgrade
Smaller, Auto Focus. If you are already in owner of a B4 or other 60w MOPA machine then there is no reason to upgrade.
Companies don’t believe enough in their own product to invest their own money.
Not sure why companies go the Kickstarter route but my guess is it's more about exposure then fundraising. They were going to make and sell these machines either way but Kickstarter adds and audience that might not have looked otherwise.
@@BusterBeagle3D can’t be. Xtool need exposure? Kickstarter for screen printer.
