    Why use the 60drip set? Much easier to control drip rate with the 10 or 20. Seems hard to control 4dps vs 5dps. With a 10set 5mcg/min would be 50dpm and 4 would be 40dpm. Am I missing something?

    Any particular reason the IV has to be in the ac?

      Larger diameter of the vein, less likely to infiltrate and/or cause complication. That being said, this is also in the bend of the arm, so you have to take precaution to ensure the patient keeps their arm straight. Also want to ensure you have the blood pressure cuff on the other arm. Frequent checks to ensure IV patency are required.

    Hasn’t it been found that low dose Epi drips (around 2mcg) can actually cause hypotension by acting on the beta receptors vs the alpha?

      Haven't heard that personally but I'm intrigued now.... Going to research that now
